- In this video, I continued our journey on the lovely island of Quinoa and began building Marshal's coffee shop in Animal Crossing New Horizons. I'll be adding and taking things away from the build over the course of the next monthly episodes, but I thought it could be cool to make into a dedicated video too! I hope you enjoy 🏝

hi charlie! i’ve played 800-900 hours of this game and got it the day it came out so I’ve seen the progression of the community the entire time and i just want to say i LOVE this video!! it gives me such nostalgia for when the game first came out and everybody was just hanging out and vibing and there was none of the like competitiveness and perfection that is standard now - just some fun animal crossing content, this felt like coming back to an old friend, so thank you :)
Ahh thank you so much, that means a lot 🥰 That's kinda what I was going for was just a ~chill~ building vibe and I tried to make an effort to show the thought process behind decisions and not worry too much about if people would judge the video or the build so I really do appreciate it!!!

God your ACNH videos are inspiring me to really amp up my island! I haven’t had a passion for it in a while now and these help so much.
You can also use simple panels for walls. You can customize them to have costom designs on them. Just thought you might want to know! ;D
Just a little hint for putting down paths: when you're in construction mode just pres the "+"-Button and then open the path design menu. This way you don't have to take out your nook phone every time and put the paths down one by one. :)

I love this build I think it looks super cozy and chill and I think that bc wear u eat is by water I think it makes the build rlly come together :D and I am very much getting fairy vibes from that bridge u made love it
For making longer tables/counters, I recommend the den desks. They actually look like a single surface when out next to each other. I also love the lecture hall desks in general.

Pro tip, to get an item at the right angle on top of another piece of furniture, rotate the bottom furniture first, place the item on top, then rotate it back.
i'm currently in the midst of decorating my island (played since march 2020 & have restarted twice now!!) and I'm loving your series! keep making more fab ac vids so that I can watch them whilst I decorate too xD

Hey! If you go to Harv's and unlock Cyrus and Reese you unlock a bunch more customizations! It'll be a life saver for future builds.

marshal was my first campsite villager too!! i recently reset my save data so unfortunately not anymore but i did find him on a mini villager hunt recently so he's back on my island :D he's amazing i love the lil guy
i haven't started the series yet, but this video makes me want to start playing ACNH again :)

charlie you can go to the nook shop and with nook miles you can buy a path you can customize with your path paterns. it makes it way easier to put the paths down

This is my first time watching one of your AC vids, so I'm not sure how far you have progressed, but once KK Slider starts visiting your island you can request the song you want and he will give you a copy of it after he performs. Also, those paths are all so adorable! 😍

I have some tips for making the villagers leave the house! If you have cockroaches keep them, second try not touching the device when their chat bubble pops up and don't leave the room untill gone, last try leaving the house.
This might be my favourite build I’ve ever seen in animal crossing! Maybe you can put some more bamboo partitions by the lake around your island! Could look good

cyrus can customise items you can't normally customise like maybe that counter but you need to pay the 100,000 bells to unlock him first
Maybe have a connecting path between the kitchen area and the checkout using darker planks to connect the two areas? Or extend the lower of the two dark plank rows by the checkout to the left by one
You can use the Nookstop to buy doubles of things that you've already bought. That way you don't have to sacrifice your kitchen and can buy lots of the same thing.

Guys, you wouldn't believe it. I ran into the most hipster coffee place ever. It's outside some local's house, no license, no health inspection. One table is in front of freaking waterfall, you just sit here, while splashes get into your cup! A very grumpy squirrell(the owner??? Idk lol) made me a cup of coffee, and I was just sitting there, listening to vinyls and vibing. 10 stars.

In the Nook Miles Redemption Service, you can add custom paths which allows you to add your custom paths down
without painstakingly getting rid of all the ruined designs using Y! Why not give it a try? :)

If you have the Sanrio amiibo cards, the cinnamoroll items are perfect for cafe builds! They’re very cutesy though, so not as good if you’re going for a more realistic cafe. But I loooove those items.

For any additional changes to your items you can go to harv’s island and get Cyrus they are in the back middle of the island. Love your stuff!

This was so fun to watch!! A little tip that could help you: you can place several design codes without having to move your character step by step. The game follows the same order when you place design codes on the flor or furniture on the ground. It is a little long to explain in one coment but I recommend you to experiment with that! Try putting the codes without moving and you'll see the orden it follow, that way you will be able to place things easier! 🥰

-- also from the nook miles shop, you can buy the custom design path, which acts the same as the dirt path, but i find it easier to place custom designs on the ground! :)

(p.s. im not sure if you said anything about using sites like "nookazon" for your island, but if not, that site will help you find the items you need in the correct colors!)

I have an island with my siblings and I have the biggest, laggiest, prittiest and darkest (for the lore) place of the island
btw, you can rebuy everything you picked up in the town hall (or whatever it's called), ya know where you go and pay the rent? there and if I had online I would help you by giving you something
I love this but if you have a fax machine they work so well as cash registers!
Reese and Cyrus on harv's island can customize it for you
Tip:if you click Y next to a hole. You won’t have to use your shovel It takes up the shovels energy
I Don't know if some one has mentioned this but. . .
Reese and Cyrus in co-op area(located on Harvey's Island once you unlock kk slider aka 3 stars) will allow you to customize items you would not be able to customize at a crafting table. Check them out :) it cost about 100,000 bells to get them to come. Hope this helps.
