I think the hippopotamus really matches the whole vibe of the build perfectly! He’s the perfect detail that somehow blends into the atmosphere so nicely.

Love this! For the areas you weren’t sure about, these are my suggestions. For the sandwich shop, I probably would have extended the wood planks to make it feel more cohesive. I think that would have helped along with the changes you mode! And for the triangle area, I’d try to fill it with bushes and add a fence to separate areas. For the boardwalk, I agree you can’t have too much, but where you put random flowers and plants, I think the Farris wheel item would fit perfectly. Also just some benches, vending machines, and lookout scopes along with the popcorn and cotton candy! I also think a fence behind the tourist shop would make it feel more like a shop. When thinking of real life things, it helps to think what a city would really have. An example is they’d have railings/fence on the edges of cliffs like that behind the shop, etc. It’s looking SO good!! LOVE.
I feel like the sandwich shop needs sidewalk under it, the grass looks... kinda strange. Cute build tho! Love how this island is coming out!

I saw Lily the other day at the zoo. She was mesmerized by the hippopotamuses! I told her it was time to go to her new home on “Leapfrog” and she said she would be packing her bag soon and catch the next bus there…But when I last saw her, she was still staring instantly at the creature. I think they bonded. 😊

Raven, I live in Florida, too, and you are 100 percent right about the Publix thing. There is literally one less than 2 minutes from the Publix we go to. I’m not sure why they do that!!

for the little strip next to the boardwalk you could add one of the custom water codes u have to look like its in the water, and this turned out so cute!
