i just want to thank you for this series. it’s helped me realise that the houses don’t need to be perfect because the important part is having fun with the designs, it’s really helped me honestly
I have Octavian on my island and he has the UFO flying saucer thing in his house. He has a whole space deal going on and it's ultra freaky. He doesn't have any 'normal' furniture whatsoever. Love him.
The ski lift was such a great concept! It's so cool. Also if nobody explained it, you collect resources for Neeko and place them in the box. He'll then teach you DIYS you'll be able to use. You'll have to give him a few rounds of resources to unlock them all.
The ski lift idea and execution was so perfect especially if that was just off the cuff. Charles's eye for design is impressive especially given the (many, many) constraints of HHP.
Oh my goodness thank you c,: I was honestly pretty proud of that myself-- might have been better with a different property, but didn't turn out too bad!!
The chaos that exudes from these homes is giving me life force right now. I might have missed you talking about this in a previous video, but is there a reason you're stopping the DLC at 30 homes? You can put infinite numbers of homes on each plot, so you could theoretically make homes for every villager (which I aimed to do, but when I got down to only the worst uggo villagers left, I gave up lol)
Hey Charlie, this is a tip about getting your villagers out of your house, in my experience, whenever I have a villager in my house that I don't want to be in my house, when they're still in the doorway, I talk to them 4-7 times, give or take, and one to two minutes later, they leave. Not sure if this is just a coincidence or if it works for other people but I hope it helps you.
I recorded some footage playing through it when the game first came out and never got around to editing them, BUT I 100% will get to it because I absolutely LOVED that game!! 💩
you can press X while choosing the place for a home in order to Change the season that part of the map is in(like for spring you can get cherry blossom trees)

I had to take mechanics as a physics requisite for my biology program 🤢 I'm not sure how different that is from mechanics of materials, but I was bad at it nonetheless hahaha
