great video again keep them coming can't wait for the next one
Thanks mate it's about time you got your hands on these
I know computers are taking over the world, but I prefer the mechanical mechanisms. I am sure the electronics will be fine in the pulsar, but if they did go wrong, that would be a major headache. Of course, mechanical rifles go wrong as well, but at least you have a fighting chance of fixing them yourself. I also like the mechanical click of the cocking mechanism. You know it has been cocked, when you hear the click. That is why I bought the Wolverine R, instead of the Red Wolf. It would have been nice if they had fitted a power adjuster to the regulator, but it’s not the end of the world. Is it worth the extra £500 to be able to adjust the power? If you use it for pest control in Barnes and at close quarters, then I think being able to adjust the power is a very useful feature.
Came to this video 4 1/2 years after its release as I’m now considering getting one and was looking for a comparison. I’ve had a Mk4is, so have experienced the Daystate “electronic” gun; a very positive experience - manufactured in 2012 and I have only replaced a battery pack. With airguns, I work on the basis of “if it isn’t broken, leave it alone”, so it has proven to be ultra reliable without being touched.
With the ‘replacement’, the Delta Wolf, now available, the prices for the Pulsar and Renegade have gone down, now that’s a result.
If it were a choice between the Renegade and Pulsar, then, after this comparison and the price difference, I’d probably go for the Renegade. But, since this video the Renegade HR has come out, which reviews suggest is an improvement. With little difference in price between the Pulsar and Renegade HR, and my experience of the Mk4is, if I do get a bullpup, it’ll be the Pulsar. So thank you for your video.
purtroppo pulsar e renegade non sono piu' fabbricati ,posseggo il renegade .22,non regolato ,lo uso per bench rest a 50 mt alternandolo al agt uragan ,ottimi entrambi ma.......del renegade ne sono innamorato .
Ya
Is now a bad time to buy a *Pulsar ?*
Surely *Daystate* are due to bring a MK2 version out soon..
Hi which Bullpup would you buy, Galahad,Renegade or Pulsar?
just bought secondhand renegade 12 months old first day out fired 40 shots then nothing turned out to be trigger battery ,was led to believe one would get 17,000 shots from battery gun hadn't been used much might just be faulty battery so I will see
great video as normal pal,a bit to futuristic for me, I love my springers, atvb,Stu.
Would you say the pulsar is worth the extra £500 over the renegade ?
Hi do the pulsars have a spare battery in the grip ? mick
not for me as you have to break cheekweld every time you use cocking lever
if your a lefty lol nearly forgot
Actually, both models are 'fully ambidextrous'. The cocking level can be easily repositioned to the other side by the end user. There is a video of the procedure in a Daystate Pulsar video on youtube.
Love the look of theses all ready for clicking on buy untill I saw Battery's
I lasted a bit longer, for me it was menu selection by the trigger.

I love that is good to have .How I can buy that and how much is the price can I get information about please.
The instructions indicate that there's a key in front of the trigger. Why wasn't this mentioned!!!?
Give me a new laminate HW100 over these any day of the week.

Hi Rack, top video as always, however I am not so sure about these 2 rifles, firstly they are a little on the ugly side, as indeed most Daystate products are, except one, the Huntsman Regal, secondly the electronics, why! what purpose is electronics in a Air Rifle, in a few year's they will be nothing but trouble, controversial maybe!! although I do understand what Daystate are about,a progressive British company making its mark in a very crowds market, maybe I am wrong, but from what I see, the Air Gun fraternity tends to be conservative lot.
