With the resurgence of Pokémon card collecting becoming more popular, it made me think what if I brought Pokémon cards to life for real, using augmented reality. AR allows you to map game elements to objects in the real world and is most commonly used with image targets via cards so using Pokémon cards as the image targets is perfect.
If you're lucky, the Pokemon Company will definitely hire you! This could bring a new level of Pokemon Trading Cards with AR technology.
No, the most likely thing is that he will get sued. If they sue people for hosting Pokemon themed birthday parties...
Imagine this method that will be take by the pokemon company and then can be taken by company like yugioh

I can smell Nintendo's lawyers running for you unfortunately . It's an amazing idea but Nintendo's anti consumers things they've done recently doesn't bring the best chance ever. I wish you the best for that and I absolutely love the idea !

I have by the past devlop some AR with pokemon card but i didn't make the model fight and the game actually playable as u did gg (video on my chanel if u want to check)
I did in java soi had also to make the code that search the card on the image and i didn't realy know how to animate them (i also didn't have the courage to do it x) )

You should try and contact Nintendo! Search up the process and keep emailing them! Or email important Nintendo heads. Also post this on r/pokemon.

Thanks! It took around one month to complete, I have 3 years of experience using unity. This is my first time trying AR.

What about just having the Pokémon in their poke balls for the bench since they’re not active?
