I can relate my late dad was discharged from the military in mysterious circumstances and really suffered but he still remains my hero he fought PTSD without any treatment, turned his life around, started a business from scratch and even went ahead to become a church elder. God also heals he died of an accident but he was a changed man. I honor all soldiers and know what PTSD does

Therapy should be mandatory for those in the army and police force. Many people don't come out to talk about their PTSD unless they're pushed to seek therapy and it's always too late when we realise they need the help. I feel like it should just be part of the job. It would help a lot from an early stage.

That camp at Kipini saved the Senior Principal Magistrate Garsen this year, if it were not for them, they would have died.

Here is USA once you finish your time you get first priority for civilian jobs. While in the army you also have the option of going to school which the army pays for. Also you get paid benefits, buying a house is tax free. Amongst so many other benefits like counseling and all that. When people realize you served, they will always thank you for your service. While ptsd is also real among soldiers, they are not discharged like this. Kenyan army is a joke.

Nope US Veterans are horrendously ignored. The citizens love them but the VA office is hopelessly incompetent. Go to the VA hospital. You will be shocked. And alot of them don't go back to find jobs waiting.

      You are full of it!
Do you know how many veterans in the US sleep in the streets of the cities or have turned to druggies because of lack of support?
My uncle is a former brigadier and after Iraq where he was shot 5 times, the government took 800k $ of his Insuarance to pay for his medical leaving him broke. He had to take a second job to survive.
Did I say he lost his son in Afghanistan in 2007? He was a helicopter pilot when they got shot down and 8 of them died in that fateful flight.
My uncle is a serious mess right now and is just drinking himself to the grave.

@@DjRHINOInternational1 do you that are not full of it you want to lie that veterans in the USA have it worse than those in Kenya? I come from a background of retired vets and some still serving and were it not for them enlisting their lives would not have been as good as they are having it now. They took that opportunity to advance in their studies and maximized on the VA benefits. I’m sorry about your uncle and his son though.
