Wish Persona 5 had this type of party interaction but it didn’t not even Royal. Party interaction is where Persona 5 lacks a lot sure there’s parts where they hang but they don’t come close to the ones in Persona 4 Golden.
P5 does have one moment near the end where you're asked if you wanna get married and the girls you're dating have great reactions depending on your answer.
I would've never noticed that Yu indirectly stated that he hung out with a girl if Yosuke never mentioned it. It shows that Yosuke is pretty intelligent, despite being constantly labeled as the dumb, comic relief, protag's best friend.
if you paid attention to the moments they are discussing the case and all its possibilites, you'd realize none of them (maybe teddie) are dumb. Even Chie and Kanji figure things out pretty quickly

Just played through this today and man p5 really needed things like this. You will never convince me that none of the characters in p5 were able to figure out you were dating someone. Things like this make the group feel more alive as well

Closest you get is hawaii, where you’re like “I was with someone” and ryuji talks about you having secret lovers I always romance kawakami tho, so it makes sense that no one would know from that angle, can’t risk her job

Yukiko Reaction: Tone was in disbelief because of the "Amagi Challenge" and with how many times Yosuke gets shot down it makes sense. Chie Reaction: Tone was somewhat in confusion because of all the people Yu dated it was Chie who of course argues with Yosuke a lot.

I've heard Rise will always ask you out for this event but Chie and Yukiko will only do so if you're already in a relationship with them. Can't confirm about Rise tho since Yukiko was the only girl i did the romance link for in my 2 playthroughs.

P5 and even royal doesn't have moments like this sadly. Moments in the main story cutscenes where you dating or your social stats were acknowledged. All of that stuff only happened in optional scenes :(...
@@221zorro persona games just have this weird dilemma of optional romances, you CAN screw the girls but because it'd add on to the budget and time constraints too much, they don't make a scenario for every possible girl and combination of girls for event scenes (if you be a hoe and date more than 1)

Yosuke needs to look beyond looks when it comes to women. To me, Chie is the best. Not that she isn't pretty herself but she looks down on herself because of the other girls thinking that she's inferior to them but when you choose her to be your girlfriend you can just tell how happy she is. There was another scene where, if you went with some other girl or non, the girls really get in high tension mode, trying to figure out who you went with.
The only thing that would make it better is if the characters' placement changed depending on who you went with before. Since Rise is standing next to Yu, it just looks a lot cuter if you pick her, when they look at each other and look away. So if you did choose Chie or Yukiko, they could have made it change to one of them standing next to Yu instead. I know it's a small thing, but still. Would have been neat.
If it wasn't for Naoto, Chie would be my choice 100% of the time. It broke my heart seeing how sad she gets being rejected. I did laugh a bit when Yukiko ran away crying, I dunno why.
Rise is pretty much Marta from Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which is pretty funny to me since they're both voiced by Laura Bailey. I can't believe I didn't notice that Marta was voiced by Laura Bailey when playing through Persona 4 Golden this year!
Me, as an idiot, dated yukiko then realised I way preferred rise, so also dated her, and then I missed out on most of the exclusive cutscenes with your gf during story segments (also, having to turn down yukiko on Valentine’s Day even though I hadn’t spent time with her since june was the hardest thing I’ve ever done) So I’m replaying through the game just for those two or three 2 minute scenes. Dude, while was playing P5R i really wanted to at some point see some reaction from the gang if you were already dating someone at the special days, it felt so lame that even at the end It was like that relationship was somehow a complete secret to all your friends even if you were with them all the time xD
Shit, I did not expect that. I went with the other option dialogue, as well I used my 2nd day at Fireworks Festival with someone else instead of my girlfriend (Chie) to build up social link. What a bummer
For those who aren’t aware, Rise to this day still has the strongest argument for “canon” romance in Persona 4’s story. Even with Marie’s inclusion into the story, Rise still has far more canonical moments with Yu that prove that Yu and Rise have real chemistry with each other and they both know it. Not only that, but the manga version of P4 also shows Yu enter into a relationship with Rise that everyone in the town knows about, and most fans consider the manga of P4 to be just as canon as the game.

Me, as an idiot, dated yukiko then realised I way preferred rise, so also dated her, and then I missed out on most of the exclusive cutscenes with your gf during story segments (also, having to turn down yukiko on Valentine’s Day even though I hadn’t spent time with her since june was the hardest thing I’ve ever done)
So I’m replaying through the game just for those two or three 2 minute scenes.

Dude, while was playing P5R i really wanted to at some point see some reaction from the gang if you were already dating someone at the special days, it felt so lame that even at the end It was like that relationship was somehow a complete secret to all your friends even if you were with them all the time xD

I started my first P4G run on PC and was considering Rise for a bit but landed on Yukiko. but her VOICE.
Shit, I did not expect that. I went with the other option dialogue, as well I used my 2nd day at Fireworks Festival with someone else instead of my girlfriend (Chie) to build up social link. What a bummer

For those who aren’t aware, Rise to this day still has the strongest argument for “canon” romance in Persona 4’s story. Even with Marie’s inclusion into the story, Rise still has far more canonical moments with Yu that prove that Yu and Rise have real chemistry with each other and they both know it. Not only that, but the manga version of P4 also shows Yu enter into a relationship with Rise that everyone in the town knows about, and most fans consider the manga of P4 to be just as canon as the game.
