Great install video. One suggestion, I would look into getting weather stripping to seal it all around. This will also help with the gaps you have. Plus, will reduce any vibration noises in the future. Looks great. I want one now.
Been eyeing these for a while now. We use the tailgate more for cooking than standing on so it would be a worthy investment, just haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Well definitely fits. Looks a little better but overall still not the fit and finish I would like. However after living with it for the time I have I will say that other than that I have no real complaints. It's much better than the stock surface.
@@offroadicon yea, agreed. I'd like it to sit as flush as it does with the Tacomas... but can't be picky. Mine is brand new so I haven't had a chance to test it out. I also reached out to them to see if they sell plastic covers to go where the bolts are so I don't see them every time I open my tailgate. Waiting on their reply :)
@@jhonn236 yeah for sure on them bolts they stick up just a little to much. I would prefer something with a flatter head. Overall it does make me happier. Hope it last though my friends Tacoma just broke a corner. I use the bed of my truck a lot so I guess we will see.

Good tip. May have to order some.

I like it just a little slippery though... Excited to really start using it once my rtt comes in
@@offroadicon Lol. Which tent did you go with?

I just installed mine on my 1500. You need to put back the access plate that you removed. Once you do that, the board will sit flush.
Hmm I'll try that right now.
