This was such a good haul - thanks for sharing! I think we should normalize buying, selling, AND wearing flawed items. It just means they have a story to tell and they can still look amazing! 😊
Absolutely!! I agree, clothes are meant to be worn and that means they won't look like new forever. Someone suggested adding the flawed items to the Whatnot show anyway and doing a lower bid. I think I will do that :)
ON THE leather skirt, it looked like there might be something (maybe a brand name) written on the back of the zipper hardware when you were showing it, in your video while you were at the bins. Just a possibility, so I thought it is worth mentioning. Very nice haul!
Just found this channel, great content. I'm kinda tripping out right now, bc you are the SECOND thrift video I've seen that keeps saying "this is sooo vintage 90's style" or "this is giving total 90's vibe". I was like, "what, huh, the 90's was not THAT long ago" wtf?!? However, last week my son said i was born in the "late 1900's"... Seriously 😳
What happened to the black patchwork, bodycon mini dress? I absolutely loved it! Your haul is bringing back memories( 60+ girl here!) Thank you so much for such a detailed video!🙏🏼
Dryel doesn’t actually clean anything. It just makes garments smell good. Dryel is a useless product, you’re better off hand-washing or taking it to an actual dry cleaners. Dry cleaning uses liquid solvents instead of soap and water which is why it’s called dry cleaning.
On the black shirt that is missing a button on the cuff….check the inseam on the shit for a possible extra button. Well made clothing with buttons usually put extra buttons on the inseam. Also, on stains , wet spot warm water, get a bar of ivory hand soap, rub on stain let it set for a few minutes. Then with fingers rub spot, if still a little visible put a drop of Dawn dish soap on spot, rub in, let rest a few minutes, rinse, then pat excess water out with dry wash cloth or hand towel. Hang dry. Hope this helps, also use on other stains.
Just found your channel and am bingeing! I know all the stuff you have listed in this video is probably long gone but just in case for future videos….the city scape sweater you found looked like it may have been Berek. If it’s the ones that have the tag that says ‘Hand knit by Marta D’, they are the original Bereks from the late 80’s, early 90’s. I worked in a store back the that sold them and they could go for up to $500. They are newer Berek sweaters that have a different tag. Those are not quite as valuable. Also, I have this stain remover called Mrs Mouths that is amazing. I got a vintage blouse from Poshmark and the whole cuff was this weird yellow color. The blouse was black and white. I soaked it in Mrs Mouths and the washed it in cold with Tide pods and it all came out. I love watching your videos!! Thank you!
3 ways i have dealt with musty smell. 1 and the easiest is for books but clothing also. Rubbermaid container that has a lid. Lots of baking soda (i used a 5 lb box). Add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Close it up with items for a couple weeks. You can probably check after a week. The other is to wash with washing soda, vinegar and borax then i either add lavender oil or teatree/cinnamon oil etc if its really bad. I had everything go musty at my cottage after the dehumidifiers failed.
Baking soda is the BEST at removing smells. I found a gorgeous leather coat once and did not realize it had a cigarette smell. I did a few rounds of baking soda and it is so much better. I never thought to add essential oils though!! I am going to try that next time :) thanks for the tip!
I think Jackie Jon is vintage and they made formal dresses as well. What a fantastic haul, those designer pieces! How do they end up in the bins? Can’t imagine
How have you washed things when the tags are still on? Even if something is brand new from the bins, I still wash and disinfect. You find the best pieces!
This video popped up in my suggestions. You got really great finds. The only thing I would enjoy more is hearing the sizes on all items. I saw a couple I would check out on Poshmark for sure but would be even more tempting if I knew they were the right size. Great video though
Lovely clothes, you have a good eye. I would take everything with stains on to the dry cleaners with the other things that need dry cleaning. Nothing one can do with faded fabric that could have been hanging in the sunlight on a rail or clothes that have moth holes. Yoy didnt mwntion the size of the clothes. They all look small to medium. I hope you sell everything. 😎👍 Cheers from Germany 👋👋
Would a Google reverse image search help with the leather skirt? I know you have to take the photo from far enough away that it looks a lot smaller than you’d think you would take as a photo
Can you add a segment on your whatnot sale where you list the “flawed” items? They all look so dang cute! I bet they would sell well at a reduced price! Just a thought. 😊

I love that you find these items, save by cleaning them properly per garment need and keeping out of the landfill. Well done 👏👏👏👏
Heck yaaas baby clothes at the bins is the best they grow so fast
I swear you look away for a moment and then poof they’re 15 pounds heavier and 3 inches taller

ON THE leather skirt, it looked like there might be something (maybe a brand name) written on the back of the zipper hardware when you were showing it, in your video while you were at the bins. Just a possibility, so I thought it is worth mentioning. Very nice haul!

Your haul is bringing back memories( 60+ girl here!)
Thank you so much for such a detailed video!🙏🏼
Google images for the leather skirt you are wondering about.. Great haul! so fun!
I did try that but nothing came up the exact same. I ended up keeping it so it doesn't really matter where it's originally from.
I use the dryel at home dry cleaning packets from target when I have a lot of dry cleaning stuff from the thrift. They work great!
I have never tried that. I think I will pick some up today and give it a shot 👀
Thanks for the recommendation! 🫶
I do that as well! No professional drycleaners where I live ..
Dryel doesn’t actually clean anything. It just makes garments smell good. Dryel is a useless product, you’re better off hand-washing or taking it to an actual dry cleaners. Dry cleaning uses liquid solvents instead of soap and water which is why it’s called dry cleaning.
FYI- if it's granny square, it's most likely crocheted, not knitted :)
oooo!! Thanks for the insight!
Check out laundry stripping you can even do it in the washing machine. Maybe that will be a good option for the sheets😊
My fav I went to my local goodwill outlet this weekend :)
The best!! Hope you found some amazing pieces :)
Screaming over your amazing finds!! I so need a bins visit!!

I wish we had thrift places like this in the UK. Although given charity shopping’s already my hobby perhaps it’s for the best!! 😂
Your so lucky to have found such great items! Our Goodwill bins are gross and so dirty and just have junk

Rich people are crazy, aren’t they?
I LOVE the Bins!! I have found items to sell & keep.
Me too!! The dig at the bins is so fun 🤩
Blue Dawn dish detergent works wonders on stains!
yes - blue dawn + oxiclean has done wonders!
The black leather zipper skirt has the brand PRIMA printed on the zipper.
I thought that too but I looked up PRIMA & didn’t find anything. Maybe it’s a boutique? I was thinking Prima could be a zipper brand?
A mystery…
@@CuratedbyNatalie yeah zipper brand.

Such an amazing haul !! Incredible 🎉
Truly!! I had to document it :)
epic haul!!!!
The white viscose dress - could you cut off the flaw and make it a midi instead of a maxi ? It’s beautiful!
Yes! I was thinking that or even a blouse depending on the stains placement with the seams / tiers.
That granny square vest 😍😍😍
Isn’t it a gem!!!

So how did you wash clothes and still keep the tags on? I assume you removed the tags and then reattached them?
Clothes that are brand new with tags I steam clean. Steaming kills 99.9% of germs and anything else that could be on there.
