Awesome! I would love to go for the record as I am into building E-PPGs, but building a foot launch paramotor with a 6.7kWh battery is easier said than done. Mr, Brandstetter also has years more experience than I do in designing them, so it may be a long time.
@@ACROLI He really is one of the pioneers in E-ppg. If I remember right he was building them in about 2009 back in the days of LiFe Po4 batteries and before electric powered stuff was even a thing. That also means that he is about 11 years ahead of me in designing E-ppgs. I would like to think that I could somehow wip up something that could break his record, but one does not simply beat a record set by a man with his experience...
Super cool. Also looking forward to seeing the first reviews of openppg sp140 electric ppg. Kudos to all these pioneers. For most non xc flyers a 60 minute time is tempting and batteries are only getting better so something with a modular battery has a lot of potential.
Der längste E-Gleitschirm Flug in ruhiger Luft? Kürzlich hat Armin Harich ja seinen 7,5h Flug an der E-Aufstiegshilfe veröffentlicht, auch sehr Intressant. Ja war rein mit Motor power ohne jegliche thermik,... Die Aufstiegshilfe mit Beinsack gibts schon von FTR, bin ich hier im Video auch geflogen nur ohne beinsack.

Monatlich werden diese dann auf eine Website übertragen und in einzlene Klassen gelistet. Thermik e-ppg, Standart e-ppg, e-Trike usw. Jeder ist herzlich willkommen seine geloggten Flüge ab dem 10. would 150kg starting weight be 150 kg finishing weight as electric do not com=nsume weight?, i soo wish battery technology was advanced just as good as the combustion engine

Yes it’s really hard to build up a proper system. Thomas is a really Pionier in this.
