I think that it is important for us to first pray that God prepares us and gives us strength to receive what we are praying for. Know that you are a wife/husband before the marriage. After the marriage you become his/her wife/husband. Also know that it takes work. This is a marriage and commitment not just a wedding.

I do agree with what you and others have shared. My heart posture towards the God and not his Hand has helped me to understand and to grow in my discernment-not just in my desires, but in all of my relationships, and in my sphere of influence. In this particular season of my life, I need to be intentional about seeking Him in all things. Waiting is challenging, but I cannot “afford” to make choices and be without God and His guidance.

This is confirmation for me as a single person desiring marriage to let go and let God take control of everything & stop worrying.
I actually started following this channel because of the makeup tutorials. So funny that you got that idea after letting go of the ex. I needed to hear this today. Letting go really allows God to develop us.

Girl!!! I was in the same boat.. Many people were concerned about how quickly I got married, but I had to learn to live my life and not let others’ fears continue to get in my way and I’m so thankful to God that he helped me have the confidence to know I was making the right decision to marry my man; it has been such a blessing in so many ways. That part about wanting things right now is so true. I have been slowly letting go of something I’ve wanted to accomplish .. so that was a great reminder, thank you.

God deals with everything about us, he’s so wonderful like that. He deals with us in every area we let him in. He will tell you what is proper attire for a wife, he will deal with pride, he will deal with character, he will deal with every area that we allow him in. When we say we are Christian we represent him, and we want to represent him well in all area’s. In time we can continue to grow in God.

I was in a situation like that and just released myself from it, being with someone that God did not desire for me just to not be alone and the fear of getting older and being single, I now wait and stay still and focus on God and continue to do the things he called me to do. Thank you for this word! Very much needed in this moment in time of my life. I am an influencer as well and try not to get caught up with why this or that hasn't happened yet. Sometimes I will get ideas for my channel and content in general but I'll think its silly because my numbers are low and whose watching. But maybe those ideas came to me for a reason. I liked the white and black top underneath. I feel like this is the phase of my life. I am almost 30 and Im okay being single and no rush but I am personally trying to be more financially free and buy a home and im working myself to ground to achieve it and have lately started to pray that it be God's will and to be more patient and be more still.

This was so good Maya. Surrendering our plans to God can be so hard sometimes. Our obedience is really all we have to offer God. He gave us free will so our decision to choose Him is literally all that we have to give Him and our obedience pleases Him and he's a good father who wants to bless His children and you allowing Him to use you to display his faithfulness has been a beautiful thing to see. Thank you for this advice! I’m always looking for advice from married women, because I desire to be married one day. However, at times it seems as though once some women get married, it’s like they want to withhold the knowledge. Even those you knew before marriage. So I most definitely appreciate your transparency, and your kindness to share. It’s a lot of single women that have never been married out here in these streets trying to give advice, and no shade, but I be looking like, sis, you’ve never been married, so how would you really know. So, thank YOU!

I don’t think it’s withholding, some are still figuring it out and also knowing what works for them may not work for you. Every season of marriage will require a different approach and pull different things out of you.
I disagree that a single person who may be on the journey can't also give sound advice on seeking who God has prepared for him/her. Remember, before one was dating, engaged and married, he/she was single. So one has to know the path taken led by God to get to that special landing space. But hey.. we all have opinions.
It’s really in the wait and Stillness that we can hear God/Holy Spirit really give us direction. We are also not distracted or so focused on all the noise. It’s a hard process but it’s worth it when we really rely and rest on God. I mean Maya is a LIVING TESTIMONY!!! 💕

You shared so many important things. We have to let go and let God. We get so caught up in what we think it should turn out that get in our own way. God knows things we don’t know. He has heard conversations that we haven’t heard. So even if we try to force something it doesn’t work out in the end.
I enjoyed this vlog. I feel Iike God speaks to us in numerous ways. God speaks to me through music, numbers and visions. Things didn’t start happening for me until I left my ex as well. I have a ministry now and I know who my husband is. So much has happened since I left that toxic relationship. ❤

Maya, I really appreciate your girl talk conversations so much. I am currently in my waiting season and it is so lonely and frustrating. Things are not happening for me as I originally planned. Health-- (Post Op Endometriosis surgery), new state with hubby (no friends), and no job opportunities are happening for me. It is very depressing and lonely.
I needed to hear these words because I am having some challenges in this moment. This will pass and I will look back on this moment, feeling and say Yup I am here and no longer there

Ma'am, I just started my UA-cam channel after 3 years of making excuses, posted my first video today and my only prayer since the year has started has been "God, do it or do better" and His response was "Let go and trust my plans". When I say I prayed for God to make a way for me to dive into this, 2 weeks later, my dad offered to buy me a phone(Huawei P60 Pro) and honestly, that was the confirmation I needed cause it has everything I need to start creating content. Man we serve an awesome God ♥️

I was at my lowest just completed chemotherapy for breast cancer was feeling depressed, like my life was over! I came across your page in 2020 and I gravitated to you and im telling you, your transparency alone was God talking to me sayin you will be alright if you just trust me. Still get cute on the days you feel like it on the days you don't, rest. I thank you for keeping God at the forefront and saying how good he is. Trusting him is the#1 priority on my list❤
