I went through that transition last year, it's so good hearing someone else going through it because the end result will be amazing for you. I absolutely love this blog! I started going through this exact journey at 31 after my mother died. Now that I’m almost 45, the journey has been so worth it. Not only has this journey grown my relationship with God and my daughter who is now 25 but it also landed me a God fearing husband who is my best friend. I agree about fragrance. From a young age before I knew anything about makeup, I always found my femininity in different fragrances and scents!
My mother brought up my 3 sisters and I in the ways of the Lord, and I did the same with my daughter. She also taught us that a woman should always look and smell her very best no matter what the occasion, to this very day she still exudes beauty and grace!!! I really loved this vibe and I think this is what we women needed to hear… for me I’m working on being consistent with praying, taking care of my care and I’ve started back building my perfume collection and skin care collection… when I smell good I feel confident and that pushes me more to take care of myself 🙌

One of my favorite stories in the Bible is the Book of Esther. I believe she shows true strength and beauty in the Lord while still being in her Godly role of a respectful wife. And through her strength and courage in that role, God used her to save his people. I believe that she is an example that us as women should follow.
