I love your solo dates.💕 I’m learning so much about myself lately and although I’m still in a relationship I’m seeing the changes in myself and I’m realizing that I might be in a dead in relationship. Regardless, I’m excited for the future and who I’m becoming. The more I discover about myself, the more confident I feel in my decision making. I also agree with not doing the live in thing again. I never want to live with another man unless he is my fiancé. I don’t see why we need to cohabit if we don’t have plans for building a family together and making a commitment before God. All it does it make it harder to leave the relationship when it’s time. It's important that we realize our role in how others treat us. Yes, if they're unkind, lying, entitled there's something wrong with them, but if we accept/tolerate it that's on us. Hard lesson learned. Don't let anyone convince you that your standards are too high because if you lower them you're the one living with your decisions; the one who said 'lower your standards' isn't facing the consequences. Good things are worth waiting for. I have friends who found "the one" in their late 30s or 40s & that's okay; they now have someone who treats them like queens instead of like an afterthought. They should apply to all relationships I believe. Yesterday I went on a dinner date and the MN was late👀. For me being on time is an incredibly important thing because it shows that you respect the person's time and company. And we're not talking 5/10 mins late, more like 30 mins. During the date I realised that he generally doesn't respect people's time, he shared he's always late for work too😒 and didn't see it as a problem at all. Beyond this, he doesn't converse well, I tried raising the conversation but to no success. While sitting at the table I realised there's no way I'm having 2nd date with him,because as you said, the basics were just not there and I'm not willing to overlook this😂. Right now I’m in a relationship and asking myself why because there truly is no benefit in any other area besides sex and that’s wavy at times. You did an amazing job at explaining your wife. I love loooooove the dress. You look gorgeous. I was just having a conversation with a friend about romanticizing one’s life. It’s also important to check the company we keep. I believe the people we keep around also have a role in the standard we have for ourselves… I’ve realized it’s so easy to internalize how they see and what they think of us and if it’s the negative you end up seeing yourself in their perspective. Know who you are, what you want, how you want to be treated in both platonic and romantic relationships then constantly work on achieving those standards.

He loves me no matter what but what you said about being a standard for yourself is so true. I have to feed into myself so I can be what I need as a wife and mother. Keep letting God use you !

It's important that we realize our role in how others treat us. Yes, if they're unkind, lying, entitled there's something wrong with them, but if we accept/tolerate it that's on us. Hard lesson learned. Don't let anyone convince you that your standards are too high because if you lower them you're the one living with your decisions; the one who said 'lower your standards' isn't facing the consequences. Good things are worth waiting for. I have friends who found "the one" in their late 30s or 40s & that's okay; they now have someone who treats them like queens instead of like an afterthought. Beautiful dress, beautiful makeup, and the solo dates are inspiring.

Girl, I'm new here, been watch a few old videos as a well as current. I was drawn to you standards. I think my first video was rhe capsule wardrobe. I said, yes, she is one to follow. I have almost if not the exact standards you are speaking of( still watching). People tried to tell me my standards are hight, but NOPE, my God will supply all my needs ( spiritual, financial, and spouse). Listen, God has one for us. .. Im a divorced mother of 2, been single and saving till marriage for alot of years, but i got to know ME, my children and build healthy relationships with others. Standards are an ESSENTIAL! I also think they are key part of accountability and respect for self and others. They should apply to all relationships I believe.
Yesterday I went on a dinner date and the MN was late👀. For me being on time is an incredibly important thing because it shows that you respect the person's time and company. And we're not talking 5/10 mins late, more like 30 mins.
During the date I realised that he generally doesn't respect people's time, he shared he's always late for work too😒 and didn't see it as a problem at all. Beyond this, he doesn't converse well, I tried raising the conversation but to no success. While sitting at the table I realised there's no way I'm having 2nd date with him,because as you said, the basics were just not there and I'm not willing to overlook this😂.

Right now I’m in a relationship and asking myself why because there truly is no benefit in any other area besides sex and that’s wavy at times. You did an amazing job at explaining your wife. I love loooooove the dress. You look gorgeous. I was just having a conversation with a friend about romanticizing one’s life. It’s also important to check the company we keep. I believe the people we keep around also have a role in the standard we have for ourselves… I’ve realized it’s so easy to internalize how they see and what they think of us and if it’s the negative you end up seeing yourself in their perspective. Know who you are, what you want, how you want to be treated in both platonic and romantic relationships then constantly work on achieving those standards.
