    I'm Korean who lived in Singapore for almost 5 years in my teenager. And It's been about 8 years I left SG. And somehow since 2 years ago this Hokkien Prawn Mee keep reminds me. Because I've never eaten better noodle dish beside Hokkien Prawn Mee in my whole life. I've eaten Japanese,Chinese,Korean Ramens but.. this one is.. the best.

    Hi guys! Thanks for the video, we tried it out, but with one crucial difference, I panfry the prawns and squid for 30 seconds to brown, set aside before adding it back to the noodles right at the very end. This prevents overcooking them, especially squid which becomes rubbery when overcooked.

    I finally can do this noodles because I have got enough prawn from my friend! Free! Yay!
    It's so good! OmG! The smell and the taste was awesome just like the traditional one!! It's so good to eat this when I am far away from home :)
    I don't eat meat (but seafood) so I didn't put pork but it's still good. I wish if you can do more vegetarian dish :)
    Just one question if u don't mind: What's the difference if I fried the garlic first instead of fried it after the noodles? Thanks :)

    • @themeatmensg
      @themeatmensg  9 років тому +4

      we stir fried the egg before adding the noodles, so if you add the garlic before that then they will end up being inside the eggs.
