Won't work since most of the countries we heavily outsource to don't seem to have equivalent programs to the visa programs in the US. I do wish there was a push though by companies to move US workers offshore temporarily because just like last time, there's a good chance that 5-10 years from now companies will complain there's not enough domestic talent to fill the roles they need onshore

Every boom discipline is a victim of its own success. There is always a huge overcorrection. When I was declaring was a time when petroleum engineering had incredibly high job placement despite the huge salaries and I ended up knowing tons of useless petroleum engineering degrees. These projected job growth figures are always wrong the need never manifests it is a statistical artifact from extrapolating when it is not a valid circumstance to extrapolate the sample size of data is way too small to make any conclusions the manpower demand always actually decreases dramatically and at the same time the competition always increases dramatically. Of course they love the hype who doesn't love hype but in reality we are all just circling up bussing shots on one another's shoes pretending like we are getting lucky in denial of the truth that we are just screwing ourselves.
