  • Im Abigail James, this skincare video is to tell you all about facial Gua Sha and how best to use it for facial rejuvenation, reducing puffiness and as an extra to your at home skincare routine to give you that glow!
    Come and join me in insta for daily updates on beauty and my life
    Insta bit.ly/2EQu3Dz
    In this video mine is jade, they come in lots of different shapes, sizes and materials. you can use with a facial oil, mask and or serum as long as its not a water based serum. in this video Im using it on its own without any slip.
    They are safe enough to use every day for most normal skin types. they make a great pre going out boost to your face and also help get rid of puffiness the morning after!
    As far as anti-aging goes they are helping with drainage, they will give a visibly lifted appearance and boost blood flow, which are all good for keeping the skin healthy.

    I'm addicted to gua sha! I never tried using it without an oil, my skin gets quite red. I'll try your method and if it works, I'll be doing it several times a day. Thank you so much!

    Dear Abigail, right after I watched this video I instantly bought a jade Gua Sha. I am amazed how perfect this works for me, because I always felt a little uncomfortable to do my face massages with my hands as I felt that I was always doing something wrong. The Gua Sha is exaxtly what I needed, I do the exact „moves“ you do in the video and my skin looks immediately fresh and tight, I am a huge fan already. Thank you so, so much for sharing! Greetings from Germany ❣

    Your technique is so different from the Chinese Medicine expert techniques I’m seeing. Your skin is certainly beautiful- so that’s something. Do you mind answering what your background in skin care is? Is this just what you’ve learned works for yourself? Or did you learn these techniques somewhere?

    I used to have very dark under-eye bags and I tried every product on the market in hopes of treating them. Eventually I just accepted that they were there to stay, until I discovered gua sha. It literally drained away the darkness, so to speak. Lol. Now they're slowly creeping back though.

      these can help with a temporary help to dark circles and puffiness as they are supporting drainage.

    Thank you Abigail for this video! I am so glad you did this demo! I especially LOVE the use of the ice water!!! I did the video along with you and incorporated the ice water. HOW REFRESHING my Gua Sha tool became! I too find it so relaxing, as is the jade rolling! I just find Gua Sha to be a bit more firming to the skin. Do you find that to be the case as well? I actually put aside my NuFace tool for awhile because I had been having much better results from Gua Sha & facial massage. Thanks again for this video! I LOVE your face massage videos! So informative and helpful! Please do keep all this knowledge and information coming!💐💐💐

      Hi, if I had to choose just one wither a roller or a guasha, it would be the guasha, the cold does make a huge difference.
      Don't give up on the nuface, its working on a more cellular level for longer term, longer lasting results using the micro current technology which neither of the stones or face massage do on their own x

      Abigail James thank you for the advice! I do appreciate it! I will go back and bring the NuFace back into my skin care routine. Do you feel once a week is good or more often? And have you any thoughts on the trinity wrinkle reducer attachment? Is it worth purchasing? Have you any thoughts on on light therapies and skin? I have been seeing more and more of these and I am curious.
      Thanks!💐

(I'm gong to try a drop or two of Bio oil, which has great healing properties)...I wouldn't want to try this on completely dry skin....

    • @AbigailJames1
      @AbigailJames1  6 років тому +3

      Hi Davie, so pleased to hear you enjoy my videos, using something like a guasha adds a different type of method to just using hands so they very much work along side each other. these can work deeper which you can see from some of the redness that appears on the skin and I find these are particularly good for drainage, adding cold, and generally deeper more focused than fingers. however using your hands for massage is still a total favourite

    • @AbigailJames1
      @AbigailJames1  5 років тому +1

      unfortunatly not, acne is a real tricky one which does require skincare ingredients for antibacterial, such as salicylic acid, gentle daily cleansers some exfoliation (but not gritty, more gentle acids) diet, hormones and stress also play a huge part. of al the face massage methods to do at home lymphatic and the guasha are probably the best as they are gentler and support the nature drainage but you need to be gentle
