This is by far my favorite Technomind CD. I love it!
There are quite a few Arctic Wind Cd's available on Amazon, but for me this one is the best due to the fact that is not as high pitched as others and personally it gives me the feeling that I am inside the house, warm and cozy listening to the wind ragging outside and not outside, in middle of it. Which is what makes it great.

i always imagine myself in a remote cabin deep into antarctica, staring at a seemingly infinite desert of snow, blinding from the sun's reflections... the sense of loneliness this brings me, i find oddly pleasant.

there's no word to describe the feeling of wanting to be lost deep in isolated and yet oddly comforting emptiness somewhere with no one around around, howling wind around you at a crashing volume, lulling you into a state of semi-consciousness.

I was born in late November, so winter has always had a place in my life...Almost every birthday I've ever had has been a calm day with clear skies and a bitter frost. People say Winter is cold, harsh and brutal. That's very true, it can be if you don't protect yourself right. But Winter is capable of creating some of the most beautiful spectacles in the natural world.
Think of it this way...those Ice patterns on your window, the crystals forming in the puddles on the road, the snowflakes that have fallen to the floor and formed a perfect white blanket...you'll never see those things ever again...the next snow storm will never lie the way the last one did...the next freeze wont freeze your ponds and lakes over like the last one...
Winter is unique...it's never the same...but it feels so familiar every time...
And you know what...I love it :)

I've always had a morbid appreciation for Winter; a time of death, gray, gloomy skies, bitter winds, and long, dark nights. Beautiful in it's cold, clean, uncompromising severity. This sound makes me feel like I'm standing all alone on a frozen mountaintop and the whole world's died slowly away, leaving just me on a massive snowball once called Earth. And there's nothing left for me to do but listen to the approaching winds of Death and join them.

I had a time when it was snowing in japan, I was sitting on a bench just admiring how peaceful and quiet everything was and how pure the snow is. Winter always will be my favourite time of year... Only an introvert like me would understand

I love and miss this feeling
As I look out of a window facing due south, south north. I feel a gentle breeze blow across my left eyebrow. I pick up some left over kfc from the night that had once been. And took a big fat bite as I felt the wind continue across my right eyebrow. The sound of a bird's wintery chirp went in my nose instead of my ears, before my body realized that it had screwed up, then it started to snow. The chill in the air as cold as steel made me close the doors and windows for obvious reasons unknown to man.
Send my Oscar in the mail please.
This really reminds me of Skyrim when you were just walking through the open world.
Reminds me of driving on uncharted planets in Mass Effect.

DaisyEpicness I actually tried this. I turned the music down to one quarter volume and the two fit together so well! After a bit, I'd have to pause this one to remind myself that it wasn't part of the music track. Thanks for the awesome idea.

Day 62 since it began. At least the cold and high winds slow them down. First time I've felt safe enough to sleep with my boots off. Only 40 rounds left. Still have half a snicker, MRE chicken stew and an Aquiris can. Just under 12 miles to Sactuary in City 17. Life is good!

Finally! Sancuary! But it has long been abandon. few supplies left. So tired of running. there are more of them now, I'm sure of it. Just out of sight, yet will not enter here, yet. they know this place. I do think hunger will overcome fear.

Zero Kelvin Ha! I have a plan alright, all I need is time to train and perfect my new found gift and I have the feeling that this year's first snow fall in my area is going to help me immensely. I can constantly feel the cold air that dances around my hands, practically begging to be turned into a weapon and I have the feeling that the snow is going to give me the edge I need to finally turn it into something more.

I was listening to waterfalls and thunderstorms for a while last night. I thought I would try the arctic winds. Oh it is so soft sounding. I was studying and it was 4:00 am. Well I went to sleep with the arctic winds blowing. I woke up this morning and I checked the weather outside, it said -2 but feels like -8. We just had +13 the other day. I looked outside and there is 4 inches of snow on the ground and my son said "oh wow". I started to laugh. Boy I thought the arctic winds blew us back into winter. I am listening to it tonight if I cannot sleep. I wonder what we will get the next morning? Maybe a real winter wonderland. Lol. This is good sleep therapy, thank you. Donna Peers.
I would love to live somewhere north, where its remote and a thick forest in view from my living room window. Not permanently, maybe just for a year. But during the year I would like to just live in my own company and try to write some good material. It'd be killer atmosphere.

Quite wonderful when you listen to it at a high volume for 10 minutes then lower the volume. The contrast in sound makes the feeling an experience.

I meant, while I was there IN March, though I ended up doing my entire tour of duty between White Sands and Holloman AFB... It was a great place, a spooky place, and I really loved the entire range. Except for left over unexploded anti-personell mines. They were something to worry about. Otherwise... it was great!
