@@Gruncle That's just UA-cam in a nutshell. Make videos based on what brings the viewers. Plus I think a lot of people like the new content because getting fast food or a brand of snack is easier and more accessible than following a recipe you likely don't have all the ingredients for.

I love all Josh’s videos but I miss the cooking ones, I fell in love learning to cook from him and now its more of him being a tester/influencer rather than teaching us recipes.😢

As someone from Austin in the same industry Josh came from I know chefs that have worked with him, and he is a home chef. Perhaps he did not thrive in that environment. Still He found his flow and overcame the judgement! I respect him for that but he left for a reason.. let's stop bringing hating and recognize the hustle..??

Yes! I have few of recipes I learned from him like my tacos/nachos, cold brew coffee, korean army stew, etc. I still follow them to this day.

The nerds cluster things are probably my favorite snack. I can't describe why they're so texturally satisfying to me
I preferred the rope, I loved the rope in like 2005 but didn't eat any candy in over 10 years, tried the clusters and was really disappointed, the gummy is nothing like it was in 2005 they must've changed up the recipe

Korean garlic bread specifically is actually made to be sweet. It was a huge trend earlier in the year. They would dip and entire bread boule into a sweet garlic butter glaze and then pipe cream cheese into slits cut into the loaf.

4:38 The banana "Laffy Taffy" flavor is I think developed from bananas that went extinct (and taste differently than our current bananas), hence why so many banana-flavored things don't taste like bananas.
And for the beaver glands, I believe it's imitation vanilla. So make sure you buy the real (and expensive) extract. Happy holiday baking!!

The beaver anal gland also has a raspberry aroma I’m not sure it’s used in food though but definitely in perfume and if I remember correctly the urine smells like leather and musk so a lot of masculine perfumes also contain that. 😅
In general if your vanilla ice cream dosent have black specks it has beaver butt in it. 😂
I don't know what the bananas are called in Kenya, but they taste like Laffy taffy/banana runts. They're short, very girthy, and when you peel them (thick peel) they look very yellow but are very white once you bite them. The Gros Michel banana, the one you speak of, still does exist, but I don't think the ones in Kenya are those. If you have any ideas I'd be interested to know!

my favorite snack is kinda basic but so good. Wheat thins with cream cheese. It is an absolutely scrumptious mix. It's something about the mix of flavors, the crunch of the wheat thins, and the creaminess of the cream cheese. I love it.

My favorite snack was the strawberry-bacon pancake chips. My girlfriend and I love buying crazy flavors and sharing a bag in front of a good series, and this is definitely one we’d buy
The Chicken feet chips there is just something about enjoying something that is exotic to me but everyday for others I love.

Hands down favorite snack is Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers!!! I can literally eat an entire bag in one sitting. I love sour candy and it is the perfect balance between sweet and sour for me. P.S. I love ya Josh! So excited for you to reach 10M!!!
Cinna Fuego Toast Crunch wasn't great as a bowl of cereal, but it was PHENOMENAL on vanilla ice cream. I miss it.

Purple Skittles are grape in the US, but here in the UK, it's blackcurrant, a very underrated flavor in the States due to blackcurrants being banned in certain states.

Of all the new snacks that keep flooding the market i was actually pretty impressed with the oreo/coke collaboration. Definitely not for everybody but i enjoyed the cookie and the drink.

The cooking videos are what got me started with cooking and my friends are always impressed by the food i make and it´s really thanks to you! when I can afford it I will make sure to get both of you cookbooks and these new kinds of videos are so funny to watch because I live in sweden and we dont have alot of the food that exist in america. I would love to try the kitkats because it´s one of my favorite snacks from sweden but we don´t have any diffirent kinds really!
My personal favorites are swedish chips. Thick cut kettle chips with lots of flavor and good potatoes. Sleeper goats imo. Japanese Lays can be crazy good too, but there are enough flavours for an own video.

The sour flush (skippy toilet candy) is my favorite I was so excited to see it got the only S tier. I love and miss Japan dearly. My husband serves in the Air Force and we lived over there for 4 years. To see that candy on the screen I screamed with excitement!!!
