Due to IMMENSE PRESSURE from Esseks, here we are going over some sound design in his style.
A large majority of Esseks sounds comes from basic shapes, manipulated with filtering and subtle effects for movement and depth, which tends to be a common formula for a lot of freeform bass/dubstep.
Despite my arrangement in this video, Essek's keeps his much simpler with a clear call and response, leaving time for each element to shine.
That being said, in some tracks Esseks does get more complex, and by all means isn't limited to one particular style.
In his more complex tracks alot of the sound design seems to be saturated/OTTed shapes with high resonance creating interesting timbres.
For his more wubby tracks, lowpass filtered distorted sine waves are the move (which I cover a lot of in my other tutorial!)
As always, be sure to like if you enjoyed the video, comment your questions and suggestions, and subscribe and click the bell to stay up to date with future tutorials :)

Hey Buntypoo. Would love a tutorial on Sine-ey sustain basses. Ones that come to mind are Jeanie - Burn, Kumarion - Want it, and Peekaboo - Babatunde. You've replied to a comment of mine and tried to explain it but I cant seem to get anything made. Appreciate you man keep it up

Have u tried the plug ins from freakshow industries? I found out about it because Esseks says its one of his favorite plug ins. Its rly cool ascetically and has rly weird effects. Plus they let you steal it for free
