DISGUSTING Trap Leads and 808s like Yojas and bd hbt (Vital and Ableton Hybrid Trap Tutorial)

If you're into bass music, chances are you've heard of the menaces known as Yojas and bd hbt, who are known for perfectly mixing stanky hard hitting trap with wonderfully weird sound design.
But how could we possibly imitate their style?
With distortion, ott, and corpus of course
Using Vital as a basis and Ableton's stock effects to bring out more character, we can make our very own trap leads, 808s, and even wubs like the best.
Before you know it, you'll be dropping freeform hybrid trap wook wubby stinky stanky madness like you own the place.

As for making these sounds in Vital only (or in other daws)
For the metallic lead/basses, try different delays, flangers, and static chorus feedback movements as opposed to corpus-es
For the 808s, just mess with any distortion you can get your hands on
And for the wubs, Vital and other daws have phasers and lowpass filters for you to enjoy (and then to layer with the corpus stuff!)
BONUS:
Resample your sustained 808s after processing to get cleaner and more precise volume shapes!
Also resample the weird plucks to juxtapose them for jumpier (and maybe even weirder) movements!

An alternative is AAS Objec Delay (made by the same people as corpus) super great and will give u the same results :)

can confirm. tbh i have ableton and kinda prefer using object for this purpose. Just a nicer looking interface and less complex/faster controls to dial in. Plus you can throw some delay in there if you wish.

Hey man, very helpful tutorial, really put in the mood to do some wonky stuff. Was wondering tho, how do you go bout cpu usage? For me it peaks when i have like half the effects and midi you use but you somehow manage to squeeze the most out of it
having a sound card can reduce some of the load, also freeze tracks and turn off any master processing

do a video on how to be an Ableton wizard with hot keys, shortcuts and workflow! I struggle alot with taking too long with doing things and you move very quickly and efficiently, you have a great workflow and are slick with the hot keys/shortcuts!!
