I just saw your song title ‘corpus mountain’ & ran with it. Definitely will have to check out synplant. Have heard of it but wasn’t too convinced it can make basses well. Thanks for the comment man I love your work!!!
I can't tell you all how exciting it is to learn from Bunting... I just signed up with him and purchased some of his great stuff. He was awesome with me on the phone and made me feel that I can do this... Thanks Paul >>>
I had been waiting for you to do an Abelation tutorial all year best surprise at the end of 2021!! I fuckin love you fam. Best bass production videos on the internet. Keep it up bro, you’re gonna be headlining fests one day.
Bro actually watch all your tuts religiously every day even when I don't have Ableton open. .. the knowledge you share is just paramount!! Big love brother
Always so extremely hyped to see another drop. To anyone else wondering, the patreon subscription is 100% golden. Beyond worth it. Mr. Bunting. If you could do a demo of "Drone" by Deadcrow that would be extremely appreciated. It's so simple but brings so much energy. Would love to see you break it down whenever you can
Yooo great tutorial! I've watched all your videos, it baffles me how you only have 7k subscribers but I know that your channel and your music are going to blow up! I'm learning how to produce and your channel is the first I click on to get tips and tricks, my music has gotten way better since watching. Cheers mate
This is a great video and I'm on listen #4. Loved: "we're reeling them out today"...FYI "Invisible Band Splitter" is a M4L device that enables you to use 1 operator instance and split the signal into different chains. This means you can more your split points around in just 1 place...or automate them for effect. It passes the "null test" ie. is 100% accurate. Also your EQ8 low pass may smear the low end a bit, it's not linear phase.
Not sure if you have done it but would love to see some house tutorials or some Bunting house, curious to see and learn from your workflow in that realm
Always learn something new in your videos, keep it up homie, all of us really appreciate these. I would absolutely love to see a breakdown of some Ravenscoon songs, specifically Deja Reve, I've been trying to remake it but the arp layering is pretty ridiculous. I know you could break it down better than I can. Peace
Soooo sick dude! I never really used Operator before and I'm already hooked! Learned a ton from this vid I def have so much new stuff to play around with I'm hyped af!! I'm down to join the discord too, but it said the link expired, any way you could toss a fresh link out? Love the sounds you're making my guy keep those wobbly sounds flowin!!!
got to watch abelation make some sounds a year or two ago and he literally slams that shit with amps saturator phaser flanger etc every time he changed a knob everything clipped and popped
Never messed with Operator up till today, tried copying your process just to create some sound then change it for myself and when I do I barely get any growl or tones out of it. Not sure if I have the settings down correctly. :(
ye i was messing with this but vitals wavetable resyntheaize movement is just too jumpy if you want smooth growl movement - & the other modes still are too jumpy and mess with the timbre as well
Never really use corpus, have to get on it and start using it, something I use hella is Synplant too, U would love it man

Your a G too. Literally made me cry at the AMP 2019
@@SCHLEPDUBS what this guy said
I still got my abelation coin! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
There's a plugin by AAS called objeq delay, it is a resonator/delay that is very similar to corpus in Ableton. For the non Ableton users out there
bunting for president

God damn Bunting, you didn’t have to get us this for Christmas ❤️💚 thank you so much
Been waitin on this one for awhile. Getting a basis for how to make these noises makes it way easier to explore other ways of getting them.

reese bassline + singing pitch bend envelope sine wave melody + rhythmic low passed pluck saw wave melody
@@BuntingMusic I'll take another stab at it, appreciate the tips ✌️
just made a fat one with these tips! youll hear her on Friday :)
You should do a GRiZ type bass.
some Mindex basses would be a fun rabbit hole! also whats ur computer set up like?
another goodie
flux is sick
with the 3 oscillator problem, I've found that you can either render the preset, or use the unison options to get different pitches on one of them.
Also you just need to tune the modulators to where they stop moving on the oscilloscope in the top right(do this without any FM).

Never messed with Operator up till today, tried copying your process just to create some sound then change it for myself and when I do I barely get any growl or tones out of it. Not sure if I have the settings down correctly. :(
check fm settings
3:58 sounds like my stomach when i need to eat
Can you do one on slug wife? Like kursa and seppa
i did one on the halftime style but stay tuned for more
9:57 yo this sounds way fatter tho, is the processing different on the original bass sound here?
i might’ve had some higher coarse on the operator but that’s it
Would you make a video breaking down your No Matter track?
good suggestion, i’ve broke down some tracks of mine on the patreon but have yet to do no matter - stay tuned!!!
@@BuntingMusic also wouldn't mind if it was just a patreon video if it's for copyright reasons since I'm a member 🤙
oh fuck yea bud
Your a G
newbie question but how do you name your sections like that, where you have like "drop"?
right click the very top bar and you can set a marker
check out my arrangement vid for more on this
@@BuntingMusic ahh thank you buddy

Algorithm boosting comment. 👽
try doing some illenium style shit for a video
whatabout resynthesize to wavetable and fm the result
ye i was messing with this but vitals wavetable resyntheaize movement is just too jumpy if you want smooth growl movement - & the other modes still are too jumpy and mess with the timbre as well
u can do it for a more static growl tho
Oof. Thank you so much, mate.
But I do like you that much
