You're off on his early history. Putin got sent to Dresden specifically because he was not outstanding among his peers at the KGB. The more favored roles were in Leningrad and Moscow. If you were sent to a different country, you wanted to be in the capitol, not a secondary city. At this point in his career, Putin was somewhat floundering. It wasn't until the fall of the wall and him standing down the crowd outside the embassy that we get the first idea that this guy is maybe a little more than meets the eye.

      Hilarious as in...
It's funny to see the massive corruption in Russian politics and the Russian military, be exposed in such a public way to the world...as the highly touted modernization of their military was revealed to be such a farce. As the entire world watched the entire country be so obviously lied to by their leadership. And then proceeded to witness the supposed great and powerful Russian military boast about a promised short and easy take over of Ukraine....as they then immediately proceeded to actually embarrass the shit out of themselves, as they tripped, and stumbled their way into a disgusting, horrifying slaughter. Looking completely incapable from the start with their ancient weapons, and head scratching tactics...while suddenly being so predictably led to their deaths by an obviously inept military command. Then watching the Russian leadership entirely mislead, and betray every Russian citizen....and continuously, and horrendously demonstrate how little they value the very lives of their populous. Eventually, very effectively, literally, completely destroyed the lives, and any possible future lives, of a majority of the Russian people...basically nearly wiping out, or breaking, an entire generation...or two.
Do you mean it's hilarious like that??
Orrrrr....are you laughing at something else??

When your a powerful nation sometimes you have to do what you have to do. Even when it’s horrific and most who haven’t seen combat or what goes on behind the scenes will react badly to it. Understandably though. This world isn’t unicorns and fairy dust, bad things happen. Sometimes for the worse and sometimes for the good. Pick your poison. I agree that the US can be just as brutal. Every empire throughout history has done some messed up things to maintain power. Especially China and Japan. Their war was brutal.

    • @dominokos
      @dominokos Рік тому

Life really has always been and always will be a big game of pick your poison. Yes, every empire and even every state or really any larger collective organsiation does evil things. The difference between "The West" and countries like Russia or China is "The West" will use violence to coerce people into unfavorable deals, whereas Russia will slaughter a population and loot their remains wholesale. As seen in the current conflict.
China is a bit more inspired by the American way in their international dealings, but is also fully committed to violently quelling any form of dissent. In my view of history these kinds of approaches work very well, moreso nowadays with today's technology and avenues of control, but I doubt it can work longterm. Might be wrong though. Can't say for sure.
But the Russian way is absolutely a dead-end to my eyes. As much as Ukraine may be a walking zombie - and a last line of defense before the biggest war in history - propped up by Western influence, Russia due to the unsuccessful nature of the "military operation" has fully transitioned into a puppet of the CCP. Russia is completely and utterly dependent on Chinese influence, and even the deal with Kim Jong-Un is just a Chinese arms deal in disguise.

You omitted the new US created Nationalist government that killed between 12,000 - 15,000 of its own ethic Russian speaking citizens in the Donbas when that region rejected the coup and the following ethic persecution of the ethnic Russian Ukrainians??
Or how the US expansion of NATO and its deaf ear to Russia's security concerns forced police action into Ukraine?

The character of an individual or nation is measured by their works . . development of gold-backed currency and a legitimate trading network is one of the most dangerous activities that any elected leader can attempt . . JFK is the last president to have the courage to do the same in this country -- issuing silver-backed certificates that would retain their value and replace the dollar over time . . effectively eliminating the Fed and restoring a free and independent US economy with real currency. Very few other nations have had control over their money supply . . These are -- Libya and Gadaffi the "terrorist" had created gold-backed currency and a legitimate fund and trading network on that basis to support African nations and replace World Bank IMF loan sharking schemes that bankrupt these nations to maintain the status quo . . Syria, a formerly free and peaceful nation in control of it's own economy and money supply . . and Russia -- also in the process of creating gold-backed currency and a trading network with other BRIC nations -- real currency and a free economy as the true litmus test of freedom -- something that we haven't had the courage to attempt since JFK . . as any means must be found to create crisis and war in the region as US/Western networks installed the current Ukrainian regime in 2014 and have provided military training and weapons since at least 2016. Eight long years during the bombing of the Donbass region and the murder of thousands of ethnic Russians -- proves Russia's efforts to find any other solution to this . .
. . And that's about it -- all others enjoy as we do the benefits of legalized counterfeit "fiat" currencies that funnel the wealth of human exchange out of our economies so that we don't retain what we produce -- in the greatest of resources -- the human resource. 33:44 Let's not pretend that we don't know why Yanukovich did not sign the EU accord. You've supposedly researched everything and somehow left the EU bargaining between Yanukovich, EU, and Putin out?! lol
Yanukovich, despite constant claim of being pro-russian, was in fact very much pro-ukrainian, in that he was negotiating the best deal for Ukraine. Russia did not want EU products on Ukrainian market if Ukraine was to sign the EU deal because Russia had a trade agreement with Ukraine that left Russia-Ukrainian border very much open for all sorts of products exchange between Russia and Ukraine without import duties. If Ukraine was to join the EU deal (please don't conflate it with joining the EU) then Russia was pulling out of the agreement as it was afraid of influx of western goods into the Russian market without proper taxation through the hollow Ukrainian border. Not everyone in Ukraine was on board with joining EU and a lot of the manufacturers favored to continue trade agreement with Russia instead of EU as they understood that their products would probably fair poorly competing with EU products if Ukraine was to join EU agreement and coupled with the prospect of losing Russian market as a result of entering a deal with EU, a lot of Ukrainian manufacturer's really favored to continue trade agreement with Russia rather than EU.
Yanukovich was just trying to work out the best deal for Ukraine out of the situation. Russia just happened to outbid EU with their offer of some 50 billion + some discounts on gas, if I recall correctly. EU figured it wasn't worth it and when Yanukovich came to them with the Russian counter-offer, offering EU to outbid Russia, EU declined and THAT IS WHY YANUKOVICH DID NOT SIGN EU AGREEMENT. So, if you're doing your homework researching your Putin history, don't half-ass it. That was an important point. Instead you decided to insult your viewers' intelligence by bringing the issue down to the simple binary of "pro-russia vs pro-west".

That line "world wars have been started over less" is a classic! Seeing as there's only been two world wars, lets check that. WWI: The immediate trigger for the war was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria-Hungary on June 28, 1914, in Sarajevo, Bosnia, by a Serbian nationalist named Gavrilo Princip. WWII: Germany invaded the sovereign nation of Poland after repeatedly committing acts of aggression against other sovereign nations and abandoning the limitations imposed after WWI.
a lone incident of someone shooting down an airline over a conflict zone... Not so much 🤣

. . How is JFK related to the current crisis in Ukraine? . .
Let's get comfortable now and turn on our television . .

Too many holes in this video, no mention of Kissenger or the Israeli and Asian banking alliance or trade routes.

I'm pretty sure Putin as bad as they say but some of this doesn't make sense. If Putin wanted Ukraine so bad why didn't he take it? why only a handful of troops? why not just take it and be done with it? Putin's own generals are pissed that he's dragging it out. I don't think he wants the headache, he just doesn't want NATO on his borders, at least not in Ukraine
