My chest pains went away immediately, also, as soon as I went Vegan. I also reversed SIX lifelong health issues naturally and without the need for medications or surgical procedures within days of going Vegan and eating a plant-based diet. That was over 7 years ago!!

I just finished listening to 2 plant based doctors describe the symptoms of their heart disease; one was 16, and the other was 24 when they described having issues. By 5, I was overweight, and thinking back, I experienced sharp chest pains by time I was 8. It's so sad because this doesn't have to happen.

Really liked this interview, yay! Chefs know the way to a happy heart !😀
And pls pls do not try to take the fancy stuff right away from people- as soon as one decides to go vegan, immediately a bunch of advisers start pushing you out with their solemn admonitions- no gluten, no white rice/macaroni, no sugar, no salt, no soy, no nuts, no this, no that ... And so you must stuff yourself full with just raw kale and oat groats, and chia, and flax, and canned chickpeas /?!/🤔Everything in the vegan world nowadays seems tailored to an overweight population yet not all newcomers are obese, you know...Do leave newbies alone and let them enjoy delicious food!

Thanks so much for watching and the comment!I'm confused, who's bothering newbies? The most vegan way of eating is a well-planned whole Food plant-based diet of legumes, Greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices in a variety of each. If you want to make those whole plant foods fancy that's awesome as long as they aren't adulterated with excessive oil salt and sugar. It's important to be as healthy as possible and help others do the same so this is sustainable for everyone and encourages others down the healthiest path possible so everyone will want to be vegan and not be scared of it because they see someone who is sick. Also whole plant foods are the least invasive and therefore the least likely to hurt animals.

@@VeganLinked I really admire your stance and your talent for producing such beautiful and inspiring videos so that is why I will share my honest opinion with you.-
Here's who/what is bothering vegan newbies like me:
      - I go to the channels of vegan superexperts on health ('cause I want the expert opinion, not simply the influencers' ideas) and binge-watch them, and all that is being discussed is obese elderly people with huge cardiovascular/diabetes risk. So- no sugar, no oil, no salt, no refined flour/rice, no gluten, no tea, no chocolate, no coffee, no nothing, and you know what?- you'd better stop eating for as long as you possibly can, carefully supervised, of course as it's safe and nice to have someone witness your misery all the way into a morsel of food :). And, you might have to do enemas.Ok. And what if I'm not elderly, am slim, do exercise, have no gluten sensitivity, no nut allergies, no high blood pressure, no metabolic issues, and still want to go vegan in a healthy way? Plus, if I want to gain weight, not to lose any? Let's see.-
Eat wholewheat pasta?- tastes like crap and makes me lose weight. Whole rice- same thing plus can't afford organic, the other one might be full of heavy metals. Overnight oats/organic as the other one is full of glyphosate, right/? But again, crude, nothing fine as you have to be miserable fuuull scale and punish yourself nonstop for going vegan and healthy, right? No nuts! Not a teaspoon of brown sugar! No finely cut oats! Well, my overnight oats then taste like sawdust, and I would not eat them. And I do not like to mix oats with berries. For lunch- grab a can of chickpeas/ kidney beans/ and also black beans are the best( with the thickest skins possible), drain and heat them up in a microwave? Well, it gets radiated. And the skins of legumes have lectins. And, again, it tastes like crap. And if you put this on a bed of spinach- your quick lunch is now on the top of oxalates and the dirty dozen lists, if it's not organic ( which is expensive). And what if you hate the taste of spinach? Nooo, you must love it, every real vegan loves spinach. Well, I do not. No tofu, no seitan, it's heavy for digestion and it's too processed or causes allergies and estrogen issues?! Oh, really? And what about the salad? No EVO oil, not a drop- drench the salad in vinegar instead. Uhm, vinegar hurts my stomach. "You'll get used to it. Just like you'll get used to gas from legumes". No, I won't ! I do and will peel my legumes as some centuries-old cooking tradition goes! And what about salt?! Not a speck of salt so as 'not to fall into the pleasure trap '?! But I do not like the taste of lettuce then! "You must like it, you vegan aspiring pristine newbie!" And no transition phase for you- don't you dare to eat one of your grandmother's chicken eggs (she does not kill them and takes good care of them but that does not matter, right?)- make your eggs out of flax! And add sulfurous salt to that to somehow emulate the 'real thing"- unless youre righteously salt-free and enjoy your righteous flax-egg as it is-bland. No fruit juice! It's too high in carbs- you'll get pre-diabetic, remember! Juice parsnips instead, eat raw spiralized zucchini with the rind intact and watermelons again with the rind, if possible... Everything must be crude and tasteless otherwise you're a food addict, not a real healthy vegan.
And then, once in a while, some professional chef comes in and shares his/her 'unrighteous' tips- you can blend an avo with cucumber or a pineapple with mustard into a salad dressing, and you can use seitan and tofu, and probably even some salt? And a tiny bit of sugar maybe?... Eureka! As a vegan, you can enjoy tasty, fine vegan food made for healthy people, not just patients? What a relief, indeed...
I believe you get the picture.

Wfpb is not a restriction but the opposite, its opportunity, abundance and plenty of different options,it takes enthusiasm in research and willingness to detect and correct what's needed and development of skills like with any other practice.Lentils, chickpeas and mungbeans can be sprouted and dressing with hemp hearts/pumpkin seeds or paste called urbech with herbs and spices that fit and veggies, buckwheat sprouts with dressing, dill seeds and greens, cucumbers and fennel(gradually introducing unfamiliar tastes to receptors and while rebuild microbiom),raw pistachios also is good addition.Taste is acquired and changing with the view and attitude. There are strong athletes like Frank Medrano and Torre Washington for instance so its more about certain topics

@@anastasiailieva7800 I think my food taste excellent and is predominantly WFPB. It's easy to make it tasty with dates and herbs and spices etc. for someone use to hyper palatable foods though it may take time to acclimate. A flax egg is just a binder for recipe isn't and isn't a flax egg is just a binder for recipe, it's not like you eat just a flax egg. The sulfur salt trick is for like tofu scramble. And that's only if you want that particular flavor. But the tofu scramble can be seasoned in a zillion different ways. I don't eat pasta so I don't know what to tell you there. All my food has lots of taste though with so many different herbs and spices, and so many different foods for flavoring. Tea, coffee, nuts, gluten, I don't think anyone significant is recommending not to consume these things. But you're right, there has been some like Jeff Nelson of Vegsource, years ago at least, who started a quacky trend toured demonizing otherwise healthy foods based on over generalized ideas emanating from things that might help sick people but are otherwise excellent for healthy people. I guess some people want to be seen as smart, worthy, justified, and they'll do whatever it takes to get views. Over here I'm trying to steer things in a very simple direction and mostly just normalize veganism. From there I just hope people will feel less alone and more inspired. 💚 It's a messy world out there and it sounds like you've noticed it for sure :-)

@@anastasiailieva7800 you hit so many things I don't really know where to start responding honestly. The non-vegans are the ones usually bringing up lectins, oxalates, etc so typically we are just responding to that as far as I'm aware. A little oil and salt though is probably totally fine as long as you're aware of your overall intake and don't let salt in particular get out of control. It's really hard to tailor a message to every possibility. There is a learning curve to doing this correctly. And people are coming from all kinds of different situations that make meeting them where they are at important and each person unique. So some influencers may be trying to encourage people to not make the same mistakes they made for example. But in the process they may be inadvertently confusing someone or the cause of someone's mistake. But a lot of people, for example have iron issues whether they're vegan or not. So it's a good idea to at least make some suggestions like don't drink tea and coffee around meal times because of the tannins preventing iron absorption and add lemon or vinegar to your whole plant foods to increase iron absorption. That's probably like the most common thing I would recommend people consider. And that's usually for women more. And don't mono meal on oxalate rich foods like spinach. And I usually cover that by saying eat a well planned variety.
