    I was so exhausted when I did this interview. I had hardly slept in like 2 months doing so much traveling, sleeping in challenging places, etc. But I knew I had to get David in the mix even if it was just a quick, super informal run and gun interview. He does so much for the movement and I later found out he's a supporter of this channel :-) so glad to have him in the mix even if it was haphazardly on the sidelines. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet!
    If you like my work and want to help me keep the cameras rolling consider contributing at veganlinked.com/fundme And thanks so much for watching! Maybe one day David and I can actually sit down and do a more formal interview.

      @@ZacharyTech7 Thanks, he doesn't have any other information. Sometimes people do. Sometimes I include links to their social media, etc... He says his name and it's in the lower thirds of the video in the beginning. This is all I have for him that I can give out.
      It's fun to share that I do all this alone on my own dime and time solo, run and gun, otherwise I might do a better job grabbing more details. But, traveling, sleeping in unpredictable places, finding the right people on the fly and being as accommodating as possible while trying to get as many as I can and be as thorough, attentive, comprehensive, fast, etc. as possible while making sure i have brought all the right gear, charged, enough space, backing up as I go, getting the right levels clean, right exposure, angle, right questions, no support, more exhausted as I go through these runs that may last anywhere for a 20 hour drive 2 days to over a month long 40 hour drive distance round trip unless I fly and then edit which takes about 3 to 5 times longer than what I captured, then publish it which is the most abhorious part from giving them a chance to review the rendered/uploaded/unlisted version to making updates as needed, then re-rendering/uploading unlisted again, then creating a thumbnail & title to scheduling based on the grand scheme of things each in and of itself a task, then try to revisit the site I'm trying to build like I have for the last 6 hours this morning, and simultaneously all the while I'm developing a documentary about it all in the back of my mind and on paper while paying the bills in other ways, grocery shopping & making meals most days, working in the yard long days just to take a break. In between all that I sleep, deal with thousands of comments and go to the bathroom and sometimes both. :) Gotta love it! I do wish I had more support though, esp. as I approach the next stage of things, provided I keep on that path.

    I'm a vegan because meat is disgusting

    • @Taviquenson
      @Taviquenson 2 місяці тому +5

      It really is. Personally, when I was transitioning to veganism I realized that when I was a kid I was forced to eat meat. I never liked it, it disgusted me. It was just something I eventually accepted, and thus became like everybody else (a meat eater). As some people say, you can get used to anything...

    • @KerriEverlasting

      Not liking meat doesn't make a person vegan. Veganism is the belief that animals shouldn't be harmed for our food. Whether you like it or not is irrelevant. I hope you'll be vegan one day.

    I’ve never eaten meat and growing up in the 60’s 70’s etc i I have put up with a huge amount of criticism from everyone including doctors. But I never understood the double standard that people follow where they are horrified that people could eat dogs and cats but have no qualms about eating cows and pigs and chickens or fish.

    • @os2958

      I think it's because dogs and cats have been our domestic companions for thousands of years. I'm not justifying it tho. I've only been vegan a couple of years and one reason is valuing all animal lives

    What i like about veganism is that you eat anything and dont get disguested. But one thing i hate about veganism is supplements that means its lacking something and not perfect human diet.
    But if we drop the words like "vitamines" and "minerals" becuase not many people have access to every food on the planet, for example those who live in the dessert must eat whats availabe to them you can never tell them to get every minerals.
    I will be happy if some study tell me that vitamines and minerals are not important and that humans can live about eating anything natural otherwise diet with supplements is fake diet. Vitamine D3 gave me 5 kidney stones its unnatural

    • @KerriEverlasting
      @KerriEverlasting 2 місяці тому +1

      The only supplement vegans need is B12. The only reason meat eaters don't need b12 is because the supplement b12 is fed to the livestock rather than the human - ie ALL humans need to be supplemented with b12, not just vegans. B12 is made by bacteria, not by plants or animals. We used to get b12 from our water which is now sterile because we treat it and poison it with chemicals.

    • @harveyplantharvester1502
      @harveyplantharvester1502 2 місяці тому

      Yes, Vitamin D3 contains cholecalciferol, which is the anti-coagulant used in rat poison to make them bleed out. It's some real nasty stuff. You cannot duplicate the miraculous healing benefits of the SUN with toxic chemicals made in a lab. As a long-term vegan since 1991, I eat a whole foods plant-based diet and never taken any synthetic supplements, including B12. It contains the same type of genetically engineered bacteria used to make antibiotics like Streptomycin, which the body reacts to like a drug, not a nutrient. B12 was originally made from bacteria in raw cow's liver, claimed (but never proven) to treat a rare condition called pernicious anemia.

    • @VeganLinked
      @VeganLinked  2 місяці тому +5

      The only supplement is B12 but it's actually in plants like duckweed. But the thing is it's ridiculous to be concerned about this. The animals people are eating most likely were supplemented with B12 since most of that supplement ends up going to Animal agriculture. The animal did not even create the B12 to begin with, it was synthesized by bacteria. So rather than getting it through blood guts and gore just take the supplement direct. Also a lot of people end up having to take it even when they're not vegan especially as they age and lose intrinsic factor.

    • @VeganLinked

      There are healthier, safer options than eggs that are more sustainable without exploiting animals. They're high in cholesterol and have dangerous bacteria on them. If you just ate the whites that would be healthier but you're still displacing even healthier whole plant foods that are more sustainable and profoundly more compassionate. The male chick's are ground up, the females bred to produce 30 times as many as they naturally can and each time they lay eggs is excruciatingly painful, and they're crowded into horrific living conditions that are breeding grounds for zoonotic diseases.
      This video sums it up nicely: ua-cam.com/video/utPkDP3T7R4/v-deo.html
      And this video as well: ua-cam.com/video/JRpgSvzZNcI/v-deo.html
      Because there is absolutely no need to consume eggs there is absolutely no reason to exploit chickens for this.They have engineered these birds to produce an egg every day instead of their natural rate of one a month. Imagine having to endure a period not 12 times a year but now 365 times a year. This of course results in a drastically shorter lifespan. Male chic's of course are ground up alive because they are of no use.
      Second, they're unhealthy compared to healthier vegan options and even dangerous. So not only are they unethical and cruel and unnecessary because we can eat plants instead, they are even risky to consume.
