Tool | Forty Six and Two | Satana IPSP

Riley Robledo, the Co-Director of Contemporary Music at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts (www.sfusd.edu/asawamusic), took Satana on field trip to help us experience outdoor performance conditions. We set up at the Islais Creek Promenade Skate Park, and basically screamed into the wind. Trying to hear each other over the generator running the equipment, trying to hear ourselves without monitors, and trying to find the right distance from the mic were all super challenging. We might not sound the way we are used to sounding in the studios or at The Foundry SF, but the whole experience was awesome!
