@Simp Eliminator There is no "productive conversation" to be had buddy. One hour of homework everyday and then you get 6 hours of free time. No cooking to worry about, no cleaning, no nothing. Everyone has pressure on them. Thats life. Thats not unique for highschoolers. I am a young adult in uni. I only have myself and a tiny apartment to take care of. Im expected to study for 40 hours every week, but i can usually get away with only putting in 30 or so. My life is pretty easy right now, but it is nothing compared to how easy everything was when i lived at home. Trust me dude. It only gets worse.

There are medium paying jobs i could get with my current education, but where i live a college degree is pretty much mandatory if you want to work in engineering and a big deal when it comes to negotiating salaries. You know what I have never understood? Why doesn't Candice just ASK Phinneas and Ferb to show their projects to their mom? They totally would do it, and they even have shown two of them to their mom. But those were their smaller inventions: a small boat and an animal translator.
I can relate, in my teen years I started out as a happy, optimistic, outgoing, creative kid, but when we transferred to a new school the students and teachers were so cruel and nasty to me, each time I had a creative idea or opened up about my hobbies and interests I was told to shut up or was ignored, it was especially infuriating when another more popular student would say the same thing I did and they would listen to him and not me. My art teacher was especially cruel, she was a mean, bitter, impatient middle aged lady who yelled at me for everything I made and often made fun of it, which is a very unprofessional thing to do, nothing I made was ever good enough for her. And each time I would mention my dream jobs to someone they would always shoot them down and tell me "that's never going to happen!".
I'm doing fine now, I don't have any of my dream jobs though, lets just say I live far away from where I can get one of those jobs and the industries have changed over the years, like for example instead of handdrawn animation we have Flash and CGI neither of which is as good and so many animators who specialized in handdrawn have lost their jobs because not many modern companies use them.
As a kid who wants to be a teacher or a police officer, I feel incredibly infruriated that people are this unjust, inconsiderate, annoying, idiotic and outrageous. Those teachers should've been already fired for degrading a child's self-esteem and human rights, and your previous classmates, especially the popular ones, should feel guilty and like scum for not even caring. This matter shouldn't be continued and I'd be damned if I missed the chance to listen or help others who might be like you. I sincerily hope that you are doing well and content besides that at the moment, and that more good things will come your way.
This episode is engrained in my mind, back in the day and maybe and most likely still today, these children oriented shows always followed THE formula and sticked to that, these special episode deviations always felt to me like the best episodes from how the show is explored beyond its established boundaries, like in this case they do get busted, and with the movie's case, they do find out about Perry's secret life
I am 26 and I just woke up remembering this episode that I watched 3 mins off when I was a kid and remembering the kids' expression of losing motivation. Thank you for posting this, I spent so much time looking for the show's name even. I relate to this episode so much because I feel life beat me down so often for so long that I don't wish for anything but for it to end.

You don't have to understand the deep morals behind the show to enjoy it. The creators of the show really had a hard time getting it to air because they wanted the show to be unlike any other cartoon on air. The show had a lot more adult jokes in it than we realize and the point of it was more about showing how much kids can really understand. This 5 minute snippet is really just the meaning of this episode. The creators really wanted this show to just be a relief from all the drama on TV, it's light hearted, something kids and adults could sit down and enjoy together. Nothing bad ever happens but it's still entertaining, don't feel bad that you didn't get the morals of this one episode. The creators would be happy that it was one of your favourite shows 👍
This was such an enigma of an episode. I remember the announcement of this episode, missing it, then never seeing this episode air on the Disney Channel ever again. The only time I’ve seen the episode air was on Disney XD. For reasons unknown.
It's actually kinda funny if you think about it, because if Phineas and Ferb got busted the series couldn't go on so it had be recontextualized as Candace's dream. But if Candace dreamt about that, it would imply that some sort of change happened inside of her and so she wouldn't try to expose his brothers anymore. So they made all of that Perry's dream. This would also give us information of how Perry views Candace and her brothers' relationship
I'm happy that they finally made the show that I wanted and I'm happy they made it my heart goes down to all the fans out there who love Phineas and Ferb because I'm such a huge fan of Phineas and Ferb like I love Phineas and Ferb like I'm up to die hard fan of Phineas and Ferb I don't know
I remembered how this episode triggered my childhood trauma when i was very young. It was extremely depressing and while i like the message, it is very triggering sadly. I can especially see its value now that i am in senior high school, where eveyone chooses to be the same clone of a person just to fit in. Almost everyone is the same emotionless person, like the "robots" in this episode. It's sad that such a good message for kids had to be triggering, to the point that the message gets lost. For me at least.
Everyone in school was always depressed looking. That's what school is meant to do, make you depressed so you get used to the crappy world outside. Right?
Funny thing, Josh strider said that while it is the darkest Phineas and Ferb episode, in his list of darkest Disney episodes, it was the least darkest Disney episode. Due to it all being a dream and still keeping a relatively light hearted tone and jokes. The darker episodes were toffe (star vs the forces of evil), time and punishment (darkwing duck), weird mageddon (gravity falls), St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses (star vs the forces of evil (again)) and the darkest is deadly force (gargoyles). I think he may be able to do a relist video due to four more Disney shows that came out. Being amphibia, big city greens, the owl house and the ghost and molly McGee.

The episode shows what happens to kids when they go to Public Schools I remember when I was a kid I use to be so creative and imaginative yet as an adult now I can hardly come up with anything uniquely my own.

Honestly, this Phineas and Ferb episode was basically the answer of what would happen if Candace finally succeeded on busting Phineas and Ferb for their crazy and dangerous inventions (even though it would turn out to be a "It was all a dream" scenario at the end).
I love how linked Phineas and Ferb and punk rock are. Not just Bowling for Soup, but these messages, and the fact that Billie Joe Armstrong’s voice sped up sounds like phineas.

I'm doing fine now, I don't have any of my dream jobs though, lets just say I live far away from where I can get one of those jobs and the industries have changed over the years, like for example instead of handdrawn animation we have Flash and CGI neither of which is as good and so many animators who specialized in handdrawn have lost their jobs because not many modern companies use them.
As a kid who wants to be a teacher or a police officer, I feel incredibly infruriated that people are this unjust, inconsiderate, annoying, idiotic and outrageous. Those teachers should've been already fired for degrading a child's self-esteem and human rights, and your previous classmates, especially the popular ones, should feel guilty and like scum for not even caring. This matter shouldn't be continued and I'd be damned if I missed the chance to listen or help others who might be like you. I sincerily hope that you are doing well and content besides that at the moment, and that more good things will come your way.
This episode is engrained in my mind, back in the day and maybe and most likely still today, these children oriented shows always followed THE formula and sticked to that, these special episode deviations always felt to me like the best episodes from how the show is explored beyond its established boundaries, like in this case they do get busted, and with the movie's case, they do find out about Perry's secret life
The part where their mom reacts to what Phineas and Ferb did to the car disturbed me as a kid.

I am 26 and I just woke up remembering this episode that I watched 3 mins off when I was a kid and remembering the kids' expression of losing motivation. Thank you for posting this, I spent so much time looking for the show's name even. I relate to this episode so much because I feel life beat me down so often for so long that I don't wish for anything but for it to end.
Phineas and Ferb Second Dimension was the best movie to come out of Disney that's 2d animated.

Never give up on your dreams, even if they look impossible and everything is looking down, look up. Nothing is impossible unless you hope it is.
I wish I got to watch the show more, I really never got the purpose of all the lessons they were trying to teach in the very end, I usually just took the show is, two brothers being destructive and their sister never gets to he their parents figure it out, but really the show had some expense meeting and I really wish I got to experience that, it’s a darn shame, I love your videos made2express and don’t quit inspiring other people and teaching them about the lessons the cartoons are supposed to get through

You don't have to understand the deep morals behind the show to enjoy it. The creators of the show really had a hard time getting it to air because they wanted the show to be unlike any other cartoon on air. The show had a lot more adult jokes in it than we realize and the point of it was more about showing how much kids can really understand. This 5 minute snippet is really just the meaning of this episode. The creators really wanted this show to just be a relief from all the drama on TV, it's light hearted, something kids and adults could sit down and enjoy together. Nothing bad ever happens but it's still entertaining, don't feel bad that you didn't get the morals of this one episode. The creators would be happy that it was one of your favourite shows 👍
This was such an enigma of an episode. I remember the announcement of this episode, missing it, then never seeing this episode air on the Disney Channel ever again. The only time I’ve seen the episode air was on Disney XD. For reasons unknown.

Confusion is wrong, and wrongness is bad.
It's actually kinda funny if you think about it, because if Phineas and Ferb got busted the series couldn't go on so it had be recontextualized as Candace's dream. But if Candace dreamt about that, it would imply that some sort of change happened inside of her and so she wouldn't try to expose his brothers anymore. So they made all of that Perry's dream. This would also give us information of how Perry views Candace and her brothers' relationship

I remembered how this episode triggered my childhood trauma when i was very young. It was extremely depressing and while i like the message, it is very triggering sadly. I can especially see its value now that i am in senior high school, where eveyone chooses to be the same clone of a person just to fit in. Almost everyone is the same emotionless person, like the "robots" in this episode. It's sad that such a good message for kids had to be triggering, to the point that the message gets lost. For me at least.
This triggered my trauma too when I first watched it...
Everyone in school was always depressed looking. That's what school is meant to do, make you depressed so you get used to the crappy world outside. Right?

Technically, Ferb was always like a robot. He mostly does whatever Phineas plans to do.
That's why he probably didn't think of climbing out.
Funny thing, Josh strider said that while it is the darkest Phineas and Ferb episode, in his list of darkest Disney episodes, it was the least darkest Disney episode. Due to it all being a dream and still keeping a relatively light hearted tone and jokes. The darker episodes were toffe (star vs the forces of evil), time and punishment (darkwing duck), weird mageddon (gravity falls), St. Olga's Reform School for Wayward Princesses (star vs the forces of evil (again)) and the darkest is deadly force (gargoyles). I think he may be able to do a relist video due to four more Disney shows that came out. Being amphibia, big city greens, the owl house and the ghost and molly McGee.

This was actually one of my favorite episode in the show when I was a kid without knowing its message, I would always wait for it to come up but as far as I could remember they only aired this twice.

this was my favorite show as a little kid, as i related to phineas and ferb greatly, because i love tinkering with anything i can get my hands on, and seeing this episode quite literally traumatized 8 year old me, and gave me nightmares. it very much affected how i was as a person, and i honestly wouldnt be the same today if i hadnt seen that episode

Honestly, this Phineas and Ferb episode was basically the answer of what would happen if Candace finally succeeded on busting Phineas and Ferb for their crazy and dangerous inventions (even though it would turn out to be a "It was all a dream" scenario at the end).
