Great changes. I really like how you modified the governor's office. In the original space it is too small and there is not enough space to operate cannons.
Love your modifications and the pier extension! Mixed feelings on the use of Reddish Brown vs Black. Honestly the problem is the Black in the original set that should be either Reddish Brown or Dark Brown (would love some of those parts in Dark Brown). If you made the full pier in Black probably it would be too heavy, but although you did a great job with the transition, it does bother me a bit. Another suggestion is if you could change the design of the watch tower in the end of the pier, to be larger so that it could fit a cannon. I believe it would make sense. But anyway amazing job! If you put the instructions in Rebrickable it would sell as hot cakes!
Thanks! I agree with your suggestions. The extension has been disassembled a long time ago but I'll redo it one day, and will take into account the great suggestions in the comments. Looking forward to more great videos on your channel!
Great idea, I also thought about that.:D However few improvements would be great, for example black pier (as original), not brown. And a bigger tower. That way would be the same model as from the early 90's - Imperial tradepost if I remember correctly.
love the dock expansion! I often thought the brown dock would look better than the black, but both look good. i wonder what it would look like if you made the main set dock brown as well? I've kind of grown used to the black dock features for pirate/imperial sets but brown definitely feels more "realistic". Love the little tower at the end of the pier, very nice and consistent feel with the imperial designs.
Thanks a lot for the kind comment! I think black suits the main build better, but it's probably because it's more true to the original. I do think they went a bit overboard with the black for the yard - I would prefer grey there, possibly with some patterns/ornaments.

This is SO cool. I was just thinking about doing what you did for the office and adding a ladder. But your dock and trading port is brilliant
Thank you so much!

There are some mods that I didn't mention in the video. Can you spot them?
Très cool !
