Dude, you didn´t understand like 70% of what happened in this film... And I mean that literally. Probably because you talked over 80% of the dialogue. I don´t think you can even begin to comprehend how many LEGENDARY scenes and lines of dialogue you MISSED/MONOLOGUED OVER in this movie.

This was a fantastic reaction. This movie is really one of my favourites, and it's so good to see others appreciating it. All of your points and interpretations were absolutely spot on. One of the best pieces of dialogue in the movie is when Philippe says, 'He often hands me the phone because he forgets.' Because Driss sees him just as a person, not 'a disability'. A human being, not a condition to be managed, or someone to be pitied.

OSS 117 is kinda language-based humor, which means it might suffer loads from a translation (even in subtitles). Just like watching Monthy Python in a non-english language is not the same at all. :)

Is she his wife!? Is this guy kidding me. There is a whole subplot of Driss hitting on Malonge. There’s the whole him paying escorts and then Phillippe and Dress get escorts together. Like I’m sorry I don’t mean to hate but that’s pretty fucking dumb ngl. And your logic when you think she might be his mom is just as ridiculous. You’re only reason is your think Dress is shallow based on his joke about Phillipee’s love interest even though it’s so clearly a joke because he says what if she’s fat, ugly or handicapped. Like come on that’s the one moment in the film you’re base that judgment off of. I’m sorry I just cannot not leave this comment
