In terms of a bombshell that caused waves outside of the season it happened, Woo voting out Kass is HUGE for the franchise. If Woo votes Tony, Tony is likely on second chance over Woo which means Jeremy may not be a winner. This could change the game changers casting, with Tony perhaps not being there or being less of a threat. This could cause Sarah not to win. If second chance is different, maybe we don’t see a Wentworth renaissance which changes the outcome of EOE. All of this makes WAW a completely different season. All because Woo made the worst move of all time.

It might be recency bias, but Denise’s decision to blindside Sandra OVER Tony in WAW was a huge move that shook the game It sort of started the end of the old school players having a chance to win the game, and it got rid of the only person who’d ever proven they can take down Tony before
whats even worse is that Tony POTENTIALLY could have gotten Cirie'd on that tribal if everyone would choose to play their advantage (Sandra plays her idol on herself, Jeremy leaves tribal, then Denise and Kim play their idols too)

I definitely agree Tyson should be #1 on anyone vote off list. That vote completely changed the course of the game in which Rob had s good chance of winning that season.
Eh, he still chose to draw a rock rather than playing his idol, and if Ciera was a more experienced players, she flips at seven, and Tyson goes home. Plus, his jury management sucked. His BvW game is definitely his best but still fairly weak compared to all winners. Also, note that Tyson got himself voted out twice in five tribal councils in Winners at War. Also, Tyson possibly comes back into the game anyway or at least makes the final duel against Monica and whomever else, though mostly still Tina, Ciera, or Hayden. As for WAW, he shot himself in the foot by going after Sandra, a good choice, just not that early, and told the wrong person in Yul. His second boot is far from his own fault as that Final 10 Vote had a handful of targets, and was almost save by Kim as well. I agree with putting Gretchen in the number one spot. I was showing the first season of survivor to my friend who had no idea who the winner was going to be going in. This was his first season. Watching the pre-merge he had picked Gretchen as his winner pick and he was completely shocked when she went home.
On the topic of that 1. season boot. Imagine what Survivor would have been if they didn't cast Hatch there. I would assume the producers wanted Survivor to become what it did, but I am not sure they would be able to stick to that vision had Hatch not shown everyone what to do. It could have taken another 10 seasons for the strategy to develop to the point of it being part of the program and we could have gotten a bunch of people just trying to survive in the jungle. The show could have been canceled by then.

Can we maybe come up with a new nickname for female villains? "Black widow" is getting old. And, frankly, Jerri is the original Black Widow. The Black Widow Brigade is okay bc it's an alliance name. Other than those.. let's stop using the tern constantly, eh? Surely we can think of other cool villain names.
Probably the weakest example mentioned, but Manu were given so much focus throughout the season, and the underdog trio seemed to be hanging on for a while despite not having numbers. Kelley was such a big character, the most prominent returning player, she held an idol, and then - Wardog turning on Kelley felt ruthless, it was the first time 'captains' players were routed from a season. modern choice and a very early boot, but Jennys boot from Survivor: 42 definitely changed the season as a whole. If Lydia went here, Hai goes next, and the Mike/Jenny/Chanelle/Daniel alliance probably lasts for a little bit more into the merge, the "Top Dog" alliance formed between the eight power players at the final twelve most likely doesn't happen since the idea was mostly Hai's. Romeo most likely doesn't get the arc that he does of feeling like he can be open with his sexuality with his family now since he doesn't have Hai to talk to about it. At some point, I do feel Chanelle or Daniel probably flip to try and get one of the two out as Jenny or Mike would be seen as the controller. Weirder thing though, Mike is probably goes in this section instead of Jenny. He has a much more dominant social game, focused on integrity. Jenny was more quiet and thoughtful, leading to a lower threat. This leads to a completely different season in my eyes with a bunch of different changes. Daniel, Jenny and Chanelle all are likely contenders to make it to the top eight now, and its very possible that Tori, Rocksroy and others make it much farther then originally intended.
Australian Survivor is in a "golden era"? Their Blood vs. Water is arguably their worst season yet, and even the casual audience was noticing the flaws. The editing was so unbalanced that it was just a show about a certain amount of players, and a couple went so, so long without a confessional that it did not make their elimination as impactful as it should have been. Nobody wants to hear the same confessional about being the "Golden God" or the "Joker" or the same song and dance for several episodes straight when they could give us new info about themselves or even other players, especially if those other invisible players will be key to the narrative. Brains vs. Brawn had great potential, but their editing style hurt the season once again, and not only that but some of the twists they did I felt were highly unfair, even worse than some of USA's twists. Why make it so only ONE person need to cast a vote at Tribal Council? Why make it that less than five people can be voted for on a tribe? And sometimes Redemption Rock and Purgatory were introduced in a way that it felt like they were rigging it because they felt they had to. Casting hasn't been perfect either lately. All-Stars didn't really fell like an "all-star" season, as some people would have fit the "second chance" theme better. Brains vs. Brawn had some interesting characters, but the other half are recruits or they were viewed as cannon fodder for the larger personalities. Blood vs. Water, I felt disappointed, and it didn't help that some of the people the producers clearly wanted to cast got early boots. As much flak as the USA series gets for its crazy twists or other things, Australian Survivor is not innocent in this regard either.
Happy Survivor finale day! 🥳

Rupert is and will always be my favourite
U say two players quit but purple Kelly basically didn’t exist lol
Sandra destroyed the fish
THE GAME IS AFOOT
JT in Heroes vs Villains should’ve made the list
Honestly, Lex in All-Stars should be here
7:28 ERIKA ATE THAT UP!! can't believe she got danny and deshawn to vote against their own alliance 🤣 also, ricard rlly thought he did smth by turning on his closest ally only to be at erika's mercy for the rest of the game. Omar did the same to drea 🤣
Yeah Shan really that to herself warning Ricard and then targeting Deshawn only to then still wanting to vite Erika she drew the lIst straw.
@@juanmora9190 no because she didn’t have the votes to get rid of DeShawn so she had to play it safe with Erika
@@Jakeexmvs she didnt have the votes to get erika out either LOL
@@bellasmith2444 she did up until Ricard made a bad move
@@Jakeexmvs so basically, she didnt!
I don't think I'd rank Steph on this list at all. I mean, she was down 8-1 at the merge. Her chances of winning were effectively zero.
YES GIVE GRETCHEN HER FLOWERS!✨
Jeremy is a cocky player and is also a bully, don’t understand why he is so loved. Extremely overrated. I was thrilled when he was blindsided
What are you doing tonight?
leann in Vanuatu??
kelly getting blindsided worlds apart??
Edgardo?
Marcus was a good player that's his problem though he's so good of a player that he got cocky and thought he had the game on lock he even named his alliance the onion alliance and his biggest problem was trusting Crystal to vote of her closest Ally she has nobody in this game except for Kenny why would you suggest that she loves him out why not Susie who you were planning on replacing with Crystal anyway
No Aubrey vote from edge?
Alex in Amazon
"Coward."
Did you just say James from China everybody knew he was getting eliminated even Jeff and the producers probably knew he had two idols and after this fall there's only two more chances to play them after this though so I mean it was pretty obvious
I’d have bet anything John from season 37 would be on this list.
UA-cam bideo
I have a reason stacy left. She wasn't liked. By the production.
I’m curious about your mention of Kelley’s blindside in 38. What do you think was bombshell-ish about it?
Probably the weakest example mentioned, but Manu were given so much focus throughout the season, and the underdog trio seemed to be hanging on for a while despite not having numbers. Kelley was such a big character, the most prominent returning player, she held an idol, and then - Wardog turning on Kelley felt ruthless, it was the first time 'captains' players were routed from a season. It felt like a message was sent: "we're done with letting returning players run our season."
@@Peridiam yea Wardog’s move felt really out of left field-I really hope Survivor realizes that no cast is interested in letting a few returning players go far and that they have to make up at least half the cast to stand a chance.
@@drewveflin2842 Very true. On Big Brother they either bring a big group of former players on or they have special rules such as for Paul on Season 19 (I did feel bad for Cody but that man had no place on Big Brother).
@@janejones7638 I loved Cody lol he was such a regular person compared to all those huge personalities. But yea he was screwed by having to put so many people on the block.

Waiting for and the winner of survivor 42 ,.....maryanne

NOOOOOOOOO
@@TrackMasterAsh who do you think should win?
Shan wasn't that much of a bombshell. She was too busy trying to be Boston Rob and got caught in her lies and scheming. I was cheering when she finally got voted out.
Season 41 is top 5 most boring seasons. Almost all of them would have been voted out early in most other season. And shan wasted her extra vote. One of the biggest advantage blunders ever😂😂😂 What a waste of an advantage. My #1 least favorite season ever!
41 is in my top 15. The worst seasons are One World and Thailand.
modern choice and a very early boot, but Jennys boot from Survivor: 42 definitely changed the season as a whole.
41 and 42 are godawful seasons, they don’t even feel like Survivor anymore. Now AUS on the other hand is having an absolute golden era
That is not even true.
Lol this has nothing too do with this video go cry somewhere else noob.
Both are great seasons.
Have fun watching diversity central with cringe lord Jeff
