Keep up the great videos young man 👍🏿
@@Beechnut2230 thank you!
There's nothing like watching a cooking video to make you hungry while you are out camping! Brother I appreciate the kind words means a lot getting a shout out from you, again congrats on the 7k subs you earned every single one!
@@KappelleOutdoors thank you and anytime bro
great video I am so hungry just watching your video, jajaja. You should do a video about things that people can find on thrift stores all ideas to modify equipment or items to fit into your packing set up. I notice your fry pan doesn't have a handle, I am assuming that you did that on purpose, which a great idea.
@@jggm13 hey whats up man, yeah I removed the handle on that pan because it makes packing kind of difficult so I just use the MSR pot grabber as a way to hand hot dishes. Also the pan is much more stable when cooking on a small stove because it's not off balance by keeping the handle attached
Watching from the side of a mountain in NC eating a Mt House Chili Mac meal on my hunting trip. Keep the videos coming my guy!
@@adventureswithken1983 sounds like a good time bro, definitely looking forward to seeing your video. Thanks for watching this one man and be safe!
Great video as usual.. can’t wait for the urban stealth camp video!!
That headlamp is crazy bright! I'll definitely be checking it out. Thanks!
@@seesamfly588 yeah it's extremely bright! Thanks for stopping by to check this one out!
Great channel. Always interresting to see new territory and challenges different from the Rocky Mountains where I live. Rob makes us hungry.

Looks like a nice relaxing overnighter. I am just getting ready to do an overnighter of my own on some friends property here in Ontario Canada. Your video really helped get me in the mood to get out there. Cheers Rob
@@jonhughes4550 that's great to hear and I appreciate you watching. Be safe out there!
@ hey Rob! I love to hear a bit more about the table you have been using. I know you said you made it and I love making my own gear when I can. 🍻 cheers!
nothing better then being alone in the wilderness...especially in the Florida wilderness..this area looks familiar
@@hikewithmike4673 I love the outdoors and always feel blessed to step foot in the wild to enjoy all nature has to offer. Thanks for checking this one out and stay safe man
Looks like E Texas..
Love your videos and resourcefulness. Just a word of caution, on the non-stick surface, that’s very bad health wise in the long term. Stay safe and keep on with your content. 🤙🏽
@@jeffvera-jonessanabria5546 thank you, I appreciate that.
Keep it up, bro! 👍✌️
@@awayinthewilderness4319 thank you and most definitely!
I think it’s time for a Robs Recipe book, Robs Camping Recipes, Robs Rocking camp meals, Somethinggggg lol we need a list sir
@@KarterChanelle lmao
Those are some good names lol I like it
Nice video as usual, food looked good. You looked well rested so assuming you avoided the hogs, I wouldn't mess with em either. Peace
@@4EverAwake I decided to camp in another area where I usually don't see hogs, I didn't want to take a chance having an encounter in the night or early morning hours. I plan on going back to that area with the hog activity to but more inland where that didn't seem like it could be an issue. Hopefully then I can find an area I feel is safe enough to camp at
Thank you for all the useful information.
@@lemarquis843 anytime and thanks for checking this one out
Man! Once you start sweating out all that garlic the mosquitos won’t want to come near you! That actually looked really good- might have to add couple garlic gloves to my food bag.
@@mikegardner186 oh man, that was so good especially with the fresh garlic. Definitely bring some on your next trip!
Hey Rob, think about getting some gortex sock for when you are moving through wet areas, they really saved me from soaking wet feet while spending time in the woods.
@@clevonic hey whats up. It's funny you say that because just a few days ago I purchased some really good Gortex boots. I plan on getting some socks as well . Thanks for that tip tho. Do you have any info on the socks you purchased?
@@Rob_outdoorz I purchased mine a long time ago, got them at clothing sales on base in the 90's 😂
I'm camping today in my home watching TV and making myself something to eat in my kitchen😅😅😅

Great videos!
I did my first solo mission this weekend. It was great, but I fully didn’t sleep. I was just restless because thinking of the worst. If an animal or some human after me. I carry but still thinking of every possible scenario. Do you have any advice on how you get a good nights sleep out in the middle of nowhere by yourself. Maybe a new video topic?
@@MiamiMattOutdoors congrats on your first solo overnight! All your thoughts are normal to have especially the first time out. We all tend to let our fears and imagination kick in once the night falls, best thing to do is to stop those thoughts as soon as they come. Think of other things and don't give those negative thoughts a chance to expand. Another good thing you can do is get less sleep the night before your trip and /or tire yourself out on your trip so when bed time comes you can get more of a solid rest throughout the night. Also be safe, and know you've been safe while heading to your camp site. Get familiar with your campsite and possible escape routes, once at camp, settle down an listen to your surroundings, your ears will alert you when something sounds different/abnormal. For the most part just remember that you'll be fine and not let your thoughts creep in. When choosing a campsite, make sure it feels comfortable to you
This is a good question you asked and I think I might do a video on this subject so thank you for that. Stay safe

The hogs love to dig up nuts from trees. Be careful, they can be quite agressive!
@@Helena1450 yeah I discussed that in the video
Hey, if you do vids, you will get follows.. where do you camp at, your land ?
What state are you in?
@@OutdoorPastor florida
@@Rob_outdoorz If you ever plan campout in Tennessee, let me know. I'd love to go camping with you.
Man, where are you camping with all those hogs?
@@guadalupeskitchen3734 tons of hogs everywhere in florida. They have taken over and FWC has no requirements to hunt them
I hope no snakes or gators!!
@@Helena1450 snakes are much more of a concern here. Gators, not so much. Gators will usually avoid you whereas snakes could be stepped on or near which will cause them to strike...they are much harder to spot
You need to do a little hog hunting.
Do you need a hunting license for pest control?
@@izzy123412457 no not here in florida, no hunting license or permit required for hog hunting
