I really enjoy seeing a father and son spending quality time together. Your doing what's necessary to encourage your sons growth. God bless you and your son.
Like that button right off the bat when you said hello guys I have my son with me! Standing ovations to this man and his son in the outdoors.. your park system puts up some good trail maps for use while actually on the trail. Here in Wisconsin our boundaries and signs are all faded , hard to read and vague on park information
@@WillieMakeit thank you man. Those maps are always located right at the trail head. There's a big section of that trail that would be very easy to get disoriented in if you are not very careful. Very thick jungle like woods deeper in the trail. I hope they update the mapping in your area because thats not good. There's an app you can download called "All trails" you can pre download maps and it's all through GPS. It will even alert you If you go off trail. If you havnt heard of it, you should check it out
What a great kid! I love that he has his own camp set, and he's learning to be self sufficient. Most parents cook for their kids, but this is a great opportunity for him to learn skills that last a lifetime.
@@wndrfullife he likes having his own gear and you are right, those skills will definitely stay with him. Yeah I probably should have packed an extra shirt, I still wouldn't have taken him in any farther because some parts of that trail is really thick jungle like terrain and I feel that if people are potentially hunting it could be easier for an accident to happen.
@@gregbrown357 thank you. I've got some better pictures of that tree, it was really odd how it was bent. I have better pictures of it if you'd want to see. I don't necessarily believe in big foot/ sasquatch but I view that with an open mind
You can always go back after hunting season ,an when its colder. Good on you for taking your boy with you, memories bro, can't be beat. Thx for the vid Rob.
Hey, still a day of fun with your son. I don't know of anyone who has gone fishing and caught fish every single time, but that's fishing. Keep enjoying and stay safe.
Good look teaching your son survival skills early on, one can never know when they may have to use them. Walk in Peace and Love young Man, we walk through life.
Rob and Bob Thank you for sharing the personal moments. I'll be in West Palm Beach in a few months and will be looking for some decent campgrounds there. Not many in that area but I'm willing to go a few hrs out of my way. Yes....we would love to see you camp in that area you showed us. That site looks promising. Just hope the gators don't come close lol.
That's great, west palm inst too far from me. Hope you guys have a great te here in florida! If any gator comes up to my camp at nights just know I'll be eating good haha jk. Feel free to shoot me an email for your upcoming trip
Looked like a great time. Enjoy it man, they grow up and want you to build them a car so they can go hang out with friends and girls before you know it. A Palomar knot is one of my go-to knots. Definitely need to see an overnighter here 💪💪💪
Funny you say that because my 2 boys were just asking me about racing stuff lol. That knot was fhe first I've ever learned, great knot and really easy to learn. Always good hearing from you bro. Thanks
Always got to be aware of other hunters. I know when I seen em I just give em their space! Nice seeing y’all get out there! Would be a nice camp spot atleast you have a gator to keep you company 😂😂
I'm at my dad's house and told him about your channel and that you had a new one up he should check out. We got your channel up on his t.v. and he started watching this video yesterday and was already halfway through watching it :). Pretty funny but we're rewatching your video right now

I think you should snuggle on up with that baby gator. lol just kidding, looks like a cool place to camp if you can’t be in the mountains of Virginia.
