When Xavier McKinney has been healthy, he’s been really good. In his 2 healthy seasons, he’s totaled 209 tackles, 8 interceptions and 21 passes defended. Last season, he was 1 of the 6 players with 100-plus tackles, 3-plus interceptions and 10-plus passes defended. With the Green Bay Packers, the hope is that he’ll be our missing piece on our defense that’s been good at times but not consistently excellent since 2010-11. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Solid analysis as always Andy. Aside from being on a bad team, Xavier had 68 million reasons to ball out last year on an expiring contract :)
GB has upgraded in talent surpassing SF. This is the year.
I’m an optimist too, but I feel like that’s a reach haha. When’s the last time we had a top 10 defense? SF has a top 5 D every single year. I hope you are right but let’s get to week 7 before we get too ahead of ourselves.

21:20 My only worry about this would be the fact that it was his contract year. Not saying he just did it for the money, but I would be surprised if his spike in play (and especially effort) didn't at least have a little bit to do with that. Never underestimate the contract year.
It was insane we got XM in his prime. The Giants made a massive mistake not franchising him

Agreed. The Giants salary cap is a mess. They targeted Brian Burns. They thought they could get X on the cheap. Big, big mistake.

The numbers don’t add up to me. You’re saying the best single week by a packers defender was Gary with a 1.9 something. But Clark averaged a 4.something throughout the year. I’m confused
The season score is cumulative in Andy's system, not average, so getting a +1.0 every game would be a 17 for regular season.
