Somehow the bears always find a way to fuck up anything good they got going
I think keeping Eberflus was a mistake and would be the reason Chicago doesn’t live up to their potential. Also, Caleb Williams will still have his rookie moments. So I think Chicago will be better, but I’m not going to be as crazy as some Bears fans who say they’re winning the Super Bowl and destroying the Packers. They seem to have a massive case of amnesia about how well the Packers did last year and ignore the fact that the Packers did nothing but upgrade this offseason.
Exactly. Setting up Williams for failure in a must win season is typical Bears
Love the look around the league at what's out there. I like these episodes.
Andy...the bears will suck whether they suck or not.
Wiser words have never been said.😂
This is the problem with Greg Joseph, hes not much better than Carlson and hes been in the league for several years. For him to get the job he better dominate, if hes slightly better he shouldn't win the job
Bears fans are the perennial champs of overhyped off-season's. Remember when only last year bears fans were claiming that justin fields was going to be an MVP candidate and they were going to win the division? End of this season bears fans thought they could get a 2nd or maybe even 1st round pick in a trade for fields; spoiler they got a 6th. Until the bears organization can materialize actual success on the field they suck. They suck until they PROVE otherwise.
This!
I’ve never minded the Packers teams and many of their players, but Packers fans and Rodgers are just intolerable. Throwing out SBs 1 and 2 which were essentially the continuation of the old championship series, the Pack has been to 3 SBs and won 2, despite having two HOF QBs. Bears have been to 2 SBs and won 1 despite not having anything close to a HOF QB. While the Bears clearly have not been good, it’s not like GB has a lot to boast about here! Get a grip cheese heads. You’ve been better than the Bears but not that good overall. Kinda like being the skinny kid at fat camp! 😂
As much as I dislike the bears, I would have to say the cowboys are the kings of overhype.
@@fe6250I agree but welcome to competitive sports. That’s the way it is buddy
@@fe6250 I mean that is certainly a take. I'm more apt to look at the last 10 years than since after super bowl 2, but I guess you have to manipulate and cherry-pick to avoid the fact that over the last decade the packers and bears are 18-2. I mean the mental gymnastics you have to do is insane. "Oh yeah, no no let's throw out pre SB era and the first 2 SBs and just start a comparison from SB 3 and on. Let's completely avoid talking about the last 20 years and expand the time horizon far enough out that it includes a bears SB win but not far enough out as to include all the SB wins." Honestly I'd suggest you get tested because you have some mental deficiency going on up there to even consider that as an argument.
I would doubt any rookie QB.
Especually one with painted fingernails and attitude problems.😂
my packers fan friend told me about this episode. i watch this channel quite a bit during the season (am a Bears fan in Wiscsonsin). Andy is the best!
The Bears Still Suck.🎵🎶
The Chicago Bears sucking are one of my favorite topics!
I agree, the Bears young, talented and on the rise. I hope we win twice aganst them, but my gut tells me we could splt , which sucks. GPG!
Bears-packers rivalry is back! Having good teams in the division isn’t a bad thing at all. Got sick of dog walking the nfc north, just to get bounced in the playoffs. Packers, lions, bears will be good watches. Excited to see how JLove and the rest of the packers progress.
Love learning more about our NFC North foes!!
🎉💚💛💚
The Bears still are who we thought they were ! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You should look up Jacke's stats. His FG percentage was high, but that was a different era with different rules. His best FG% & was 83.8% and the rest of his 9 years were in the 70s.
The defense numbers (Stats) was stacked from 2 games.8 interceptions in 2 games against 3 different QBs.
Yeah the qb without eyebrows threw 4 picks and the bears still barely won lol
The KING is HERE to witness the chatter of the PEASANTS 😁
We all know your take is going to be the most nuanced and rooted in empirical evidence, but it's really cool of you to spotlight other platforms, channels, and creators.
Odds say they will improve from last year
The NFC North will be very competitive this year. Including the Bears.😢
Always amused that the Bears continue to follow their disastrous plan of forcing a wildly unprepared rookie QB into a starting role behind a weak O Line.
There is zero reason to think this is going to work.
There’s about 30-40 years of evidence to the contrary.
Imagine if we pick up khalil herbert. That would be a great pick up come time next year when AJ leaves.
Short answer: yes
most likely
Marcedes Lewis? I think you meant his grandson.
Chicago is where QB's go to die! They will be last place
Chicago bears, off season champions once again
They played an RB at QB for a few years. I think it would be a great idea if they play their QB at RB the next few years. Give it a try.
james turner was essential in Michigans win against ohio state
There was only a one win difference between them in the standings…and that was with a GB mole as their OC
Sounds like bears fan math. The difference between 9 and 7 is somehow just one lol
If the bears would’ve won the last game in GB…they both would’ve been 8-8.
Sorry you didn’t get past 1 + 1
🤣
@@psygolf7120 if that’s what your original statement said, it’d be almost true but that’s not what you wrote lol also it’s a 17 game season..
Regardless…GB no longer collecting what their fans cherish the most…NFC-North titles.
Go Lions!
@@psygolf7120 ahhh must feel good after your first one
Sweat had no sacks, no QB hits in his only game vs Packers.
He played lol
SUCK is embedded in the Bear's DNA.
I promise brother you are amazing and like, comment and support every episode. As soon as the trucking industry gets back I’ll join 100%
No sweat man. Appreciate all the support!!!
Caleb Williams looks smaller than 6' 1"
As long as they suck against GB I’m chillin
I miss Mason Crosby
I think the bears defense will have a giant setback. Those turnovers were mostly luck. They will be middle of the pack. Caleb will struggle, the fields is H1M crowd will turn on the Caleb crowd and they will fire eberflus after they lose to the Packers. Then in the offseason the fans will talk a ton of smack and get all excited. I think they win 8 games tops.
Winning 8 games would be a successful season for a rookie QB in the NFC North. What’s your point?
@@fe6250 naw
Well that’s ridiculous logic. Love had 9 wins last year after riding the bench for 3 years learning and 8 wins for a pure rookie isn’t success???
@@fe6250 with what they’ve all invested in the team and making the big changes a few years ago. 8 wins isn’t going to be enough. 8 wins and people get fired. 2018 was a long time ago. They need to do something big and they have one of the easiest schedules in the league. The bears fans will eat Caleb alive if he doesn’t succeed instantly. He seems too soft for Chicago. He was prancing around like a ferry with his pink lips and nail polish. Got picked on and then changed overnight 😂. He’s never going to last.
Only David Tepper and the Panthers could make the Bears front office look competent.
While there’s some reasonable and fair skepticism presented here, the idea that Ryan Poles job is in anyway in jeopardy is ludicrous. He’s been the architect of the Bears revamping and inherited both Fields and Eberflus. After the recent trade with the Panthers, managing an out of control salary cap, and making a significant number of moves to revamp the offense, there is no way he is in the hot seat. Eberflus yes, Poles no way in hell.
Love episodes on foes. You're a good spy
Fields 2.0
Honestly, it doesn’t matter at all how well CW did in college, who they draft or sign or pick off waivers or whatever. It doesn’t matter at all in the slightest.
The problem lies with the organization and management of it all.
They are garbage at developing QBs.
If the QB sucks, the rest of the team won’t matter.
Fire Eberflus, Fire Poles, fire the whole organization from top down and do a full restart on everything.
Until the root of the issue is fixed, the bears have, will, and forever will suck ass and be Packers’s lil bitch.
(Also the fact that Lions split with Bears but Packers are 10-0 against bears proves Packers > Lions. If you cant even beat the Bears… that’s questionable on how good are you really?)
Bears aint making no damn playoffs. They will most likely finish 3rd in the division with a 7-10. At best, maybe 8 or 9 wins if they get lucky.
DA Bears enough said they will always SUCK
And Go Pack Go 💯😎
Also their offensive lines aloud 59 sacks,Caleb hold onto the ball as much if not longer then fields.
They will go at least 10-7 and at best 13-4. I’m a die hard Packers fan but I’m a realist. We just have to be better when it matters
At least 10-7? That's quite the 1 year improvement... unlikely, but possible. I see no world where they get 13 wins
A realist doesn’t say that lol you are saying their floor is replicating CJ strouds best rookie season ever (which was in a bad division by the way). The bears will be a better roster than last year, which may or may not equate to more wins, since they are still in theory behind the packers and lions and have plenty tough opponents.
5-12 at best.
@@richardcheese9152 They were 7-10 last year with terrible QB play and didn't have Keenan Allen and they have the 3rd easiest schedule
@@Matt-yq3gq 7-10 with bad QB play and no Odunze, Swift and Keenan Allen. 3rd easiest schedule. They can be 7-3 by the time they face us
All these Packer fans I see on social media are letting homerism to cloud their judgment lol just betting that Caleb will be another terrible bust is not a good bet dude is probably gonna set the bears passing record year 1
Tell me you didn’t watch the actual video without telling me you didn’t actually watch the video…
Had to click on this one for sure.😂
The bears are the worst franchise in nfl history at drafting and developing QBs.. So until further notice, THE CARE BEARS STILL SUCK!! 😂😂😂💯
Yeah, the Bears have some talent but it wasn't built as well as the Packers have done it. By the time Williams is good, his receivers will be old or need another contact. They will have a hard time being relevant in the future.
Compare their defensive stats to ours.Your giving Chicago too much credit.Disappointing
You’re acting like I said they have a hall of fame defense. And I never compared them to the Packers. Love their corners, Sweat was a big pickup and Edwards & Brisker are really good players. They still have flaws… talked about that specifically with DT and didn’t love the Byard signing.
@@PackADayPodcast no disrespect towards you,but I just don’t like the hype around the bears. What top 10 offense that’s not in the division has they faced to test how good they really are?
Including sweat their defensive line wasn’t impressive.30 sacks on the season.
Who cares.....
A #1 ovr pick has never busted……
Oh?
You gave their defense too much credit without mentioning who they went against, they won against 1 playoff team the entire year.(Detroit) and they split
i just can't see Williams being anything better than Tua good enough to keep you hanging around but when the chips are down you know he is going to fold
I truthfully don't see a world where they win more than 6 games
Poles has been a bafoon of a GM and has only only lucked into getting a second chance at a QB pick, he can't build a roster that isn't just a collection of popular names or looks good for madden.
Their defense was "so much better" but got roasted by GB, a 7th seed team, (yes they were good but the momemt even the "worst " playoff team played them they got carved up)
Their QB had all the traits but like...guys...it's the Bears.
I would not be suprised of they Vikings somehow have a better record than them
1. Explain with detail how Poles has been a "bafoon" of GM? The only pick thus far that hasn't worked for him has been Velus Jones, and the fumble of trading for Chase Claypool.
2. How does one "luck into getting a 2nd chance at a QB pick" when you demand the other teams star WR as a part of the trade package, and you know they're taking the wrong QB(Bears were never interested in Bryce Young)?
3. Jaylon Johnson didn't play in the Packers finale game, and they played them hard for three quarters.
Caleb Williams is setting himself up for failure with all of his antics. Until he mentally matures he will struggle.
Bears fans will ruin Caleb. He'll struggly early and get booed off the field which will break him.
The Bears's issue is they just sign old players. That's nice, they are going to have an awesome veteran locker room. On the field, slow awesome veteran locker room guys. They missed their opportunity to build it right.
Absolutely not true. Most of the rebuild has been through the draft and a handful of young veterans like Sweat and DJ. Only a couple of older veterans on this roster.
Bears Still Suck. 😅
Da Bears? Good luck.
DA Bears enough said they will always SUCK
And Go Pack Go 💯😎
