You dont have to pull that metal piece backd out backwards ..the safety pin goes straight thu and open and release...no snag on your hair

Oh my gosh! This is amazing. I'm 5'7" and my longest layer is a little past my tailbone and I can't ever figure out how to get these braid/twists styles to work for me without adding a ton of haie to make my hair extra heavy heavy. So I can add a rubberband, braid my hair, and then add two pieces of fake hair and twist. Going to use a safety pin as well. That metal crochet needle scares the crap out of me. Thank you so much for putting up this video. Now I just need to order hair. I can't wait.
How tf does a metal crochet hook designed for hair scare you more than sticking a safety needle in ur head??

So my hair is the length of your twists.. but it’s curly like your natural hair. I would a protective style that doesn’t break my hair or is too heavy. Do you think I could still do this look or is my hair too long?
Instead of a safety pin you can use a hair beader

How many plats do you have in your head?
Looks good but my hair is very fine texture and curly like water wave hair and to middle of my back I am also a hairdresser what I do in case you ever want to try to start with a braid is spray some spritz at root and start braid and before you start twisting use a little twist loc gel on fingers before twisting and twist to the ends and it should last a very long time just an idea

I heard you mention that you have been putting conditioner on your twists to keep the hair soft...what kind of conditioner? Like just a leave-in conditioner? I'm about to do these on myself and I have a similar hair texture to yours and just want them to look as realistic as possible! :) I love the way yours came out!

I have soft hair.
Before you started actually doing your hair the bobby pin thing had me so confused. Everybody’s gonna stab themselves? Then I saw it and I was like duh, why would anyone have it open? I was thinking the method was similar to using a crochet needle because it’s like a hook

My hair is twenty four inches long. When I do yard work in the summer(I live in Ohio) I pull it back in a ponytail. Could you do a video on how to braid my hair so that when I lean over to work in my garden and my hair falls in my face I don't look like Cousin It. I'd like to be able to leave the braids in for awhile like your passion twists. Your hair looks great.
