Great sounds in the back ground , I'll be trying this lure - soon , standby ✌
Awesome daily info.. keep it rolling
We are just getting started!
Great info! As always
Thanks Reel Life! I love Sling Blades because that's the one blade that allows me to trolling really aggressively...!
Love the sling blade's. If you haven't tried the Yakima bait short bus flasher they are my number one pick for monster Kokanee, cutthroat and salmon. Wiggle hoochie, flat fish, mag lips, spoons ect. Grab a couple in different sizes they are awesome. Thanks for the videos 👍
I have not tried the Yakima flashers yet, but I've fished the other stuff....I have a Flatfish video coming out on Friday.... We did a kokanee video at Whiskeytown Lake and ran some of Yakima's kokanee stuff..... ua-cam.com/video/0GCEnX9e4Ew/v-deo.html
I've started using these lately. Very useful. Thanks for the ball troll idea! Have you ever herring wrapped a plug and targeted 'bows? Or do you pull with your worm harness?
Good info. Thanks
Thanks Jim...If you haven't subscribed please do...We are posting at least one video a day 5 days per week. Tomorrow we'll be posting This Week In Fishing...Our weekly fishing report!...Thx Cal
hey cal love the new podcast. great info. anytime you want to hit a lake let me know i got a targa 18wt with the setup.
Awesome...Where are located?...I love trout fishing!!!
@@FHSTackle I'm in Granite bay Dave 530-301-6106 we can go anywhere and fish for what ever speicies you feel like. Look forward to fishing with you.
New to trolling I’m having problems keeping the blade below the surface. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Okay...Sometimes if you are going to topline with a blade you need a bit of weight to keep it under water....Do this....take the end of your line and put on a half ounce egg sinker....Then tie on a swivel....Add about 16 or 18 inches of line to that swivel and then attach the blade trailing whatever you are fishing.....That weight will keep the blade under the water...Also when you put your rod in the holder...Try not to get the tip way up above the water...If you can have the rod come out of the boat to the side say a foot or two above the water's surface you'll do fine....Hope this helps....Also check out my channel and watch this video.... ua-cam.com/video/iMunnYDgEb4/v-deo.html A light leadcore outfit is must have gear for a troller!
What lures do you recommend behind one for for stocked trout
Look around the channel...Lots of info there...Thx Cal
Do fish ever hit the dodger instead of bait by accident?
Yes they do!
Sling blades don’t work any better than a regular dodger.
It depends....If you want to troll over 2 mph a standard 4/0 herring dodger is going to spin and create problems...The main thing is to fish with gear YOU have confidence in...For me, the Sling Blade is my favorite....
@@greglovedahl772 Well yes but you're not using them for their intended use..Out of the package they are made for trolling over 2...For slower speeds you'll have to put a slight bend in them....This shovel is no good....I tried painting my ceiling with it and it looks like hell!...LOL
