Gabriel Iglesias and Jason Statham...
eldiego68 EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT
FLUFLYYYY
Legit I scrolled passed it and thought the same thing and had to watch to make sure lol
"I'm sorry for how I drove when I was hungry"
He’s too tall to be Jason 😂
I love how he goes deep and disects the lyrics... and that he doesn’t just be lazy and call us satanic
Quentin Ford I’m sure he doesn’t think a7x listeners are satanic anyway.
No I’m just saying that a lot of pastors and religious people stereotype metal heads as satanic. This guy on the other hand seems genuine and open minded
Quentin Ford I know what you mean
Quentin Ford lol ikr
Quentin Ford thank you, I am learning and enjoying this!
It’s interesting to note that this song is a direct emotional response to the sudden death of their best friend and drummer. The pills are a reference to the fact that he died from taking conflicting prescription drugs. I always think of this song as the anger stage of grief
John Gorman actually it was Jimmy's idea to have them scream god hates us in the chorus. They did it strictly to offend people because they are against political correctness
Josh white is right! It was all my man the revs idea
demonwaker22 yeah but although it was done as a joke kind of, I'm sure after Jimmy actually died these kinds of thoughts probably crossed their minds a few times, so it's really up to interpretation
Josh White- Puller Of Strings the rev was my idol... he’s the one who inspired me to start playing drums at the age of 6, ive been listening to avenged sevenfold ever since i downloaded a random album with a really cool name on limewire when i was 5....
I cant remember which one it was exatly but it was either waking the fallen or city of evil... whichever one came out around 2005
It’s not acoustic guitar in the beginning lol. Just a clean tone.
Ghost in the Machine thanks!
Thank you for agreeing.
Ghost in the Machine of course any idiot would know this
It’s also not a bass drum at the beginning either lol.
well then you clearly didn't listen to what he called it in the video you pretentious moron.
Metal music is not crafted because the artists enjoy being in negative moods or they want people to be angry. Metal is about taking the most powerful emotions and feelings that most people often seem to be afraid of and reject (Hate, lust, anger) and putting them into a form of music that has more power and truth at it's core than any other music. When I listen to pop music, I don't feel happy, when I listen to rap I don't feel like a bad ass gangster, but when I listen to metal I can feel every second of it pulsating throughout my entire body and soul. It is a symphony that can entirely consume you. Metal music is the only thing that can turn hate and anger into something great and beautiful.
Jack Connelly I like this explanation. I never thought about Metal music in that way. Thanks!
It’s not that other mediums can’t. It’s just that they don’t usually choose to. There’s deep exploration in other styles, seems to be the rare case.
somebody in an other video said that "metal is a music where you can let out all the anger so you can live life wonderfully" and i agree
Lol im a metal fan but this is 🤦🏼♂️🤣
I'm a metalhead, a Catholic and I really love religious people who have an open-minded view like you! Thank you, pastor!
Tommy N He’s getting money buddy ;P
@@sergior8667 actually, considering this is copyrighted, he's getting barely anything. anyway, wtf does that have to do with anything?
I'm a Christian and Avenged has been my favorite band for 13 years. I really enjoy your interpretations of their songs.
Bethany Barnhart thanks! Glad to have you on board!
Ayyy who says us christians can’t be metalheads 🤘🏼
Jess Kinley bands like Demon Hunter and Red are all the proof of that you need that Christians can be metal heads
Justin Garrett dont forget about impending doom
viper22kl90 I've not heard of that band
I love how he went into lyrics positivly and just didn't call us satanic
Right my husband says avenged sevenfold is Satanic.
"Got more of a Metallica feel"
Man if you only knew..
Haha
you guys should fix the doubled audio thing you got going on
U should really have him listen to a little piece of heaven -avenged sevenfold
Some_Nobody _On_UA-cam
There’s nothing to discuss in that song. It’s just a sick, disgusting story. The only reason you would request it is because you want to get a kick out of a Christian reacting to itz
Rick Schmidt that’s kinda what a reaction video is.......
Archgenie yeah, but this guy clearly likes to discuss things about the song lyrics. That song is just a story with murder, necrophilia, and cannibalism. What’s he going to discuss? Why recommend that song to a pastor?
Rick Schmidt hold on a sec, im Christian its not purely coz hes christian. I just think itll be interesting to see someones reaction (being a man of faith) to see if he would down right slate it or try and find a actuall meaning to the song. If u listen to the lyrics without the video the meaning (if there is one, i like to interpret lyrics myself as im listening to it for me to help me, so my interoretation is often different to what its meant to be about). My interpretation is that hes in a relationship and even though its not healthy for any of them (its one sided, toxic and just overall failing) he is still trying to make it work and in doing so hurting the one he supposedly loves, in turn the girl then decideds to tell him and show him how she feel and what this relationship is doing to her, and thats its pretty much killing her and so she wants to get her revenge. In the end they ignore all signs and go back into the relationship which is still as toxic as ever. Thats just my interpretation but u know everone will have different opinions. I didnt mean to offend you with my comment and if i did i do appologise i am christian myself and honestly i just like to reaearch this type if stuff because the normal reaction to the song is like ures but idk i am genuinely intrigued by what his go to thaughts and feels would be, would he stick by his book or go straight to his instincts and be repulsed. Again if this or my previous comment offended u i do appologise i just wanted to explain what i meant and i hope i didnt offend u further witb this comment... sorru
They really should listen to A Little Piece Of Heaven
& Fiction by them. There original drummer basically wrote a goodbye note through a song, days before he died.
Max Otto I feel that Matt "mixed the Dose strong my friend", but, I feel that internally and tried processing something without enough substance...
Rob Navarro Saddest part is they knew, and they recorded the song with him as a last hoorah. Couldn’t imagine that
Max Otto wrong
Fiction was rough track recorded by Jimmy before he passed. They left his original track and recorded the rest. I believe Brompton Cocktail was written by Brian so it couldn't have been a suicide note for the accidental overdose death of Jimmy...
Max Otto Brompton Cocktail isn’t the suicide note, it’s basically the Rev’s way of saying how he would kill himself.
This album is called “Nightmare”. It was written and recorded shortly after the tragic death of their drummer. A lot of this album is an attempt at coping with that loss.
Faith and struggles in faith are a constant theme of Avenged Sevenfold.
Not really. The rev did demos to most of the songs so he was alive when they wrote it
GangstarapMadeMeDoIt Yeah but the lyrics are a lot of Matt’s. There’s no way songs like so far away or fiction would be like they are of the rev hadn’t died
Well, Synyster Gates wrote So Far Away completely by himself, AND it was long before the rev died cuz he started it as a tribute to his grandfather. Fiction was written by the rev himself and he even sings on it on the album. Of course they changed up some parts but most of it the rev was there writing with them.
MOST OF THE ALBULM WAS MADE WITH THE ORIGINAL BAND MEMBERS, I FORGOT WHAT SONGS THEY DID WITH THE NEW DRUMMER BUT EITHER WAY, THE SONGS ON THIS ALBULM ARE SPECIAL, SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE THE REV WAS SO IMPORTANT TO THE FANS
R.I.P the Rev
I'm an athiest, but I like the way you stop the song and give your view on it it's rather refreshing from the usual of people just watching the song and not saying anything about it until the end.
Spark Wing thanks!
Same
I’m an atheist as well, but I do not agree with what he said.
What does being atheist have to do with the comment? 😂
Christian Christian people might think we are biased because we don’t have the same beliefs.
I love this guy. He asks if he can speak about the Bible instead of just throwing it on everyone against their will. I’m not saying anything against Christians in any way I just like these types of people that have enough respect to ask if it’s alright to talk about their religion.
Nathan Lambert thank you Nathan! This channel is about respect, dialogue, entertainment and Jesus! (If that is 👌)
It's a damn video you can always pause it
The beginning of the song makes me think of the times where I open the fridge and there’s no chocolate syrup to make chocolate milk
Haha
The reason why people want to listen to a song about a total nightmare is when they are still grieving the loss of chocolate syrup
Why do you keep it in the fridge? I keep mine on top of the fridge.😂
George Espinoza supposed to refrigerate after opening
For me ,growing up ,metal was a way to channel out all the anger and misery I experienced. So yes sometimes ppl connect with darker lyrical subject matter and maybe realize that they are not the only ones going through certain situations wether it be in the physical world or spiritually.
You should do Chapter Four by Avenged sevenfold
Schuyler Vaicius we did but are having a copyright dispute currently, hopefully it will be resolved.
Paid For The official channel awesome
They should do second heartbeat
Great song!
Schuyler Vaicius song is about Kane and able
I mean the name Avenged Sevenfold comes from scripture, "I will avenge him sevenfold"
In the king James version it says in Genesis 4:24, If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
Their drummer died before that album (and... pills had a role), so most of the referances to pain, nightmares and so on is probably to that.
I grew up in the era where we were told to burn our satanic record albums and back masking was a big deal. My Assembly of God church/school never offered a thoughtful discussion and /or entertained other points of view. This judgemental attitude turned me off organized religion for years as a result. I appreciate your willingness to discuss and keep an open mind. Thank you , thank you, thank you!
"Lair, rape , kill" could probably be about how theres so many horrible people doing horrible things but God decided to take the rev (their deceased drummer) away. "You better take your time. You better take it slow, cause when you see the one , there's nothing left to show " could be them telling god that if he keeps taking good people away like this, soon people (the one ) will lose their faith in god ( theres nothing left to show)
mike That's a very interesting outlook into the lyrics.
The best drummer ever :(
mike gid is not real if he is fuck that sadistic fuck
Read da bible it's da most brutal disgusting book available. A7X just tell in you da way shit is
mike rev was involved with this song
Know that God does love you and that this life is a test.
Since he's mentioned Metallica, I would love to see what he has to say about leper Messiah by Metallica! Thank you.
Plzzzzz
It's about evangelists using their position for greed.
He did creeping death and said it was pretty accurate of the book of exudes
Isaiah Richardson is right. The song is about greedy tele-evengelists that use faith from the needy and sick to make money. "Send me money, send me green heaven you will meet. Make a contribution and you get a better seat".
You guys should research on there original drummer Jimmy "the rev" Sullivan he was there child hood friend and passed away in 09. He was sick with a enlarged heart and had a "accidental overdose" this album "Nightmare" is largely based on there feelings towards his death. Some fans believe the rev took himself out in his own way before the inevitable, many believe they hinted for a while through there music about The Revs sickness.
Rob Navarro you should research the song fiction
I heard afterlife is supposed to be from the Rev's POV because of a near death experience
prize fighter inferno I wouldn't doubt it. I seriously think lyrics like "word to the wise when the fire dies, you think its over but its just begun" from a little piece of heaven & "been sick to long my visions so unclear" from bat country are direct references to the rev
Rob Navarro oh yeah I never thought of it like that I'll definitely have to go back and listen to those
Rob Navarro sorry to be that guy but it's "been SANE" too long my vision's so unclear"
I like how the pastor is slowly becoming a metalhead lol
Background on the song. M Shadows(the singer) wrote this right after his best friend and bandmate Jimmy the Rev Sullivan died. He sat down and wrote how he felt in a very angry way
MeytalHead that is good info!
MeytalHead well that's the story you've probably heard, but Matt denied that claim. It was being written when Jimmy was alive and Matt and Jimmy loved the song so he kept it on the album
extraterrestrial panda nope, you're thinking of Nightmare
I like the stop and start approach more than the talk over/all at the end approach!
Jess Kinley thanks, tell your friends, acquaintances and enemies 😀
Paid For The official channel yesssss love your videos man, you bet I’ve recommended this channel to so many people! Haha
You need to check out Words Darker than their Wings by Alter Bridge! It was written about a conversation between the lead singer Myles Kennedy and the lead guitarist Mark Tremonti, Myles was struggling with faith and had alot of questions after his dad passed away. And mark is saying dont lose hope, maybe there is something out there! They even sing back and fourth to each other like they're having the conversation, it's an amazing song and the note Myles hits at the end will blow you away
This song, like the rest of this album, reflect the raw emotions of losing their drummer and founding member of the band James Sullivan aka The Rev. The pastor is standing in front of the tombstone that says foREVer in it.
This is my favorite Avenged Sevenfold album, and Save Me is my favorite song of theirs.
I dont hate him at all, however he sort of catches himself and realizes theyres lots of depth to the lyrics @ 8:26. i really appreciate the fact that this guy sort of understands the harshness of the song title at this point of the song
I'm a huge A7X fan and also a Christian. Love your analysis on the song. Picked up some things I didn't really notice before. I didn't get too deep into this one because I just thought they were angry about Jimmy's death. I think there is more to it than that. I also think it is very important in the chorus that it starts with "God save us" and then ends with "God hates us". I don't think from the writer's perspective that this is a statement on God, but rather a statement about men. It is no coincidence that you live a total nightmare if you ask God to save you and then follow that with God hates us all.
Also, I think you may be correct....the intro is you drifting off to sleep, then the nightmare begins, and the end is you waking up again. The whole song takes place in a person's subconscious.
There are no gods
EXCUSE ME your opinion my God is powerful
m0t0rcade this one was quite complex, thanks for commenting and for your insights. Check out my podcast sometime and let’s keep the conversation going: heavenismyhome.podomatic.com
After looking into the lyrical meaning, I’ve read from multiple sources that the main focus on the main Punch line “God Hates us All” is Matt stressing the “all” as god viewing all men as equal, no one man better than any other, rather than the meaning being a feeling that the world is out to get you.
People don’t listen to this music because they think their lives are total nightmares. They would listen to alternative music. People listen to this music because they enjoy it.
Hearing you say "medications can be helpful temporarily" when not knowing about the circumstances behind this was strangely nice to hear because it's true and is in fact what ended the life of a true legend Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan (The drummer of this band that died before this album).
You guys should do Nightmare by them. It'll explain this song I think.
Rob Navarro Nightmare was written before the revs death and has nothing to do with this song. So no, it won't explain this song.
Marcus D ive heard them say it was written before and I've heard them say the lyrics were changed after he died. Idk what's what man. Geez lol
Either way it has nothing to do with this song
Just to clarify i mean nightmare not the revs death
Going to be honest here Nightmare ablum was supposed to be a concept album but when the Rev died they added alot of songs that had to do with him.
I really like that even though they're Christian, they actually take the time to break down this song and acknowledge that the song isn't exactly about what the name implies. They even see that they can relate to it in a sense and it's really cool that they didnt just dismiss this song simply because of the name like a lot of other Christians might've done. Good on you fellas 👌
Jake Twitch thanks!
My all time favorite band and one of my favorite song of theirs. I absolutely love what yall are doing. I grew up in church and it's just nice to hear how a preacher sees it 😂👍
Hey you guys did the song I recommended!!! Sweet!
Do rise against - make it stop (September's children). That would be interesting
I love your outlook man I come from a Christian family and I’m very big metalhead and I’ve always struggled with religion I’m a teen and I always feel corrupt but this music is a release and I love the way you described or how you gave your opinion it really took ease off of me but I love people with open minds
Avenged sevenfold-exist
Chapter Four or The Wicked End would be two great songs for the Pastor to react to
From what I understand. Most members of this band are christian. And after their drummer died this was their reaction. The whole album strikes me as a crisis of faith and a crisis of existance while suffering loss.
InsanityPlea100 none of them are religious
InsanityPlea100 they are far from religious
InsanityPlea100 Haha yeah.....they are not christian.
CitizenErased 17 ive seen multiple instances where their faith and background is discussed. A few of them attended catholic schools growing up and a few of them appear to still be christian. the lead singers seems to indicate in interviews he believes in an upper power but not organised religion. So I suppose part of my statement should be edited. Most of these men definitely have direct links to religion, and I firmly still believe this album explores the questions they have after a friends death.
InsanityPlea100 they went to catholic schools and didnt agree with the things they were told
I listen to a lot of metal and it’s become clear now that a lot of lyrics aren’t literal. And how diverse the message can be. To one person they can either be deep thoughtful wordings or to others insane satanic lyric. I like how this guy sees both and explains that from a religious view. I don’t agree with him but he does think about it
Haz 667 To me if you look at the lyrics, especially at the part about the pills, it kind of sounds to me how our society is being subjected to medication from medical companies even though we don’t really need it. Then the taking of years to create just so they control you sounds a lot like government. Sounds like the government says forget God and worship us instead.
Codeman1215 I assume the pill part is just about them being mad that pills took their longtime friend and drummer for the band
Codeman1215 In my mind you’re spot on. M. Shadows is a well read guy and his writing (as I’ve seen in most albums. Especially in songs like critical acclaim) that they’re very political based writes. They aren’t there to insult they’re there to contest dated ideology. But apart from that Brian Haner writes killer solos
I would look up the story behind the whole album Nightmare. The drummer was dying of a heart disease and it was the final album he worked on while alive. He passed away by suicide because he was in pain and suffering slowly. He took a bunch of pills and drank alcohol. They call it brompton cocktail, also that’s a song they wrote🥺😢
It would be cool to see you do give me a sign by breaking Benjamin
Definitely would be very very cool.
The song is about the lost of their drummer, ironically named the Rev, who was their childhood friend, so they’re expressing grief, and the Rev lost his life to pills, which explains the line in the song.
Please do I Won’t See You Tonight Part 1 !!! Pastor Andy might like that one!
+1
Glad people can see and hear this music and not just go running around condemning it as satanic. Metal is basically a more emotionally intense version of standard rock. A7x in these songs usually talks about how the soul struggles with life and his own thoughts and inner darkness. When they mention anything of heaven or hell its generallt just questioning life and why things happen. Love them and Five Finger Death Punch for their lyrics and messages.
Both of them also are pro military by making songs and ffdp even toured in iraq
When he says pills had a role +BigKat TV he’s referring to the reverends over dose on pills
one thing know about this album. the whole record is darker than most of their material. This was recorded shortly after, and the album was dedicated to.. their original drummer who passed away tragically at a young age. the album was therapy for the remainder of the band members.
Holy freaking cow! You just changed my entire perspective on the song; with the intro being peacefully drifting off to sleep and then BAM! you're having a nightmare!
I've listened to this song for years, it's one of my favorites, but kinda just thought from the first listen "Ehh, yeah it's just A7X being edgy"
But YOU, on your FIRST LISTEN, changed my experience with this song.
What I'm trying to say is thanks, haha.
Pills had a roll is hurting. It was added in for the drummer that passed away who had overdosed on back pain medication.
Thank you for being so unbiased and explaining it from a biblical standpoint. This was a refreshing review
You are welcome! Please keep watching and let’s keep the conversation going!
I grew up listening to A7X , The Rev (their original drummer who passed away and this album was written about) was a huge inspiration in my drumming. I too am Christian but struggled a lot in my earlier days , But I just wanted to say how much I appreciated how you actually took time to pick these lyrics apart and give a solid opinion. You didn’t bash the band or the song. At the end when you talked about them waking up from the dream I never even thought of that. I’ve always loved this song because when I saw them live years ago this was the song they played when Matt( the singer ) noticed my sign for their recently deceased drummer and gave me the respect ✊ sign and hit his chest lol and pointed at me lol.
It's unfortunate that he didn't really have the connotation surrounding this song before he listened to it. It's not a surprising reaction to say the least, but had he known about the circumstances surrounding the Rev, the way his interpretation of the song would have went would have varied quite a bit, I think.
You should do unholy gravebirth or Blashphemian by Infant Annihilator cause they talk about the dark side of the Roman Catholic Church in all of their songs
KNIFERNICK 101 nice pic i like the origins crew as well
The "Total Nightmare" M. Shadows is speaking of is the passing of their songwriter/drummer/vocalist/inspiration, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan.
I don't get the sort of typical whiny "Bad things happen there for God hates us" vibe from this song. I get more of a "Humans do terrible things there for God must hate us at times." feel.
Oh and just noticed your profile pic. You guys from the Burgh?
Ram Stones naw, I’m just a fan. I need to update the picture.
Ram Stones the song is due to rage from there best friend/drummer dying.
Well, thank you all for entertaining me all night. It's 3am, I've been watching since 4pm yesterday lol. You guys are awesome. God's glory certainly shows through with you. I wish I could attend at least one of your services.
Hi, I’m a Wiccan/pagan and controversy about us has sparked back up a bit more these last two years.
I’d love to write a paragraph or two for you to react to and give commentary on. If that’s ok with you I have some stuff compiled together that I feel would really make a difference. Some stuff no one has heard before from us.
I’d love to hear back from you.
~Vm Mia
There was a lot of pain from the loss of their childhood friend and drummer, Jimmy Sullivan....The guys took it really hard
it would be AWESOME if they got the band to talk to this guy. Id listen to it for hours. the different ideas and interpretations are so interesting.
SSGSS Taco thanks! Maybe someday! Welcome to the channel!
Ik I'm late but this song is about the anger the band had when their drummer died. Most of the album is about their bandmates death. This song shows their anger of his death, other songs show their sorrow, others show their depression of it. But in this song that's why its God Hates Us and that's also why there is the lyric "Total Nightmare". The Pills had a role is also referring to how the Jimmy (the drummer) died.
Listen to Buried if you haven’t already. Or Critical Acclaim by A7X
It's too easy when paranoia feeds your depression, nobody wants to talk to you or wants you around. You begin to wonder if everyone is out to get you and maybe even God is in on it! I felt like this during high school
Glad you checked out my comment about the commenting on video ideas! It’s way better when you pause and comment in the moment. Cheers!
Thx for doing my suggestion👍👍, do Question by System Of A Down, its about questioning where you go after you die, and A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged Sevenfold, and Disciple by Slayer
Giovanni Quezada definitely doing some System. Thanks for the suggestions
BigKat TV No problem, love the vids
Giovanni Quezada that was weird when I first saw this comment it had my name and picture on it and I was like " I don't remember leaving that comment" but when I reloaded it your name and pic was on it. Kinda freaked me out for a second.
aaron noller yeah it happens its like a glitch or something
i like when you pause the video and say it in the moment... also i would even though you dont like to because you arent musicians still comment on the music it gives it perception because somethings are presented in a light way and be dark like the intro it dont sound like a song called god hates us it doesnt have that feel until the drums come in which thats a factor anyway great reaction
Amazing reaction! I’m obsessed with this band and never thought of the beginning acoustic to the end acoustic being related like you put it. and the Bible references you compare this to is so interesting. I love this style of “preaching” where it makes it interesting to people like me. I understood the concept of your reference. I haven’t been to church or listened to a sermon in years but I could definitely revisit this. My favorite band in the world mixed with a little god. Any way please keep these coming with this style of pausing and explaining!!
Iron Maiden - Number of the beast
I love the fact that he actually gives them a chance instead of just flat out calling them satanic. Usually people just say, YoUrE gOiNg tO hElL fOr LiStEnInG to this. Like, really. Avemged sevenfold are Christians in real life believe it or not. Thanks for the reaction and keep it rockin!
This whole album, life was like a gigantic nightmare for them. Their drummer died while they were writing it
Could you try and convince the pastor to wear an A7X band tee next time?
Also... do
A little piece of Heaven by avenged sevenfold
Or do people = shit by slipknot
demonwaker22 I can try. I might a shirt or two he could wear. I want to do a little piece of heaven, save me and exist.
BigKat TV im an athiest, but i cant wait to see how the pastor connects save me with biblical verses
An incredibly tolerant priest who actually dissects lyrics and actually goes through the song without stoping and overreacting. Bless you
The kind of person that wants to hear about a total nightmare is someone who picks up and listens to a record titled "Nightmare".
EPICA-The Phantom Agony
Jimmy wrote this song which explains the pills part on the lyrics. He took meds for his heart pain.
Never taught about the idea of falling asleep at the beginning, arrive in this "total nightmare" and then waking up at the end of the song. I really like it. That being said, knowing the circumstances in which the song was written, this was certainly a metaphorical sleep, beceause the loss of their great friend and drummer was real.. A short moment when they lost control of their emotions and taught that god hates them beceause there were angry, sad and powerless in this tragedy.
Do Wrong Side of Heaven by FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH
It’s coming up next week hopefully
I just have one question... not trying to be rude here either... but how did you get the song recorded twice?
Braedon Morrissey tech issue
Paid For The official channel thank you
I think the line "Pills has a roll now theres nothing to take" refers to the death of Avenged Sevenfold's drummer The Rev. He died of an overdose of prescription drugs and alcohol.
Oh the blank faces during the solo, I had to give a laugh.
There are many Christian Avenged Sevenfold fans! Most humans question and struggle with their faith. I think this song is an example of that.
I'm Catholic and my family and I love heavy metal. Avenged Sevenfold is one of my favorite bands. Same with Slayer. Even though they sing about bad stuff, they have great talent, and even though their ideas are contradictory to mine, they still make great music. Also its fine cuz Slayer is Catholic. But they're talented regardless and I love their music.
Devil in I
LPV Official the worse Slipknot song in history. I love Slipknot and they will always be my favorite band. But I could live the rest of my life and not hear that song and be happy.
Reviewed😀
@@zackhartle8629 well that's my favorite song to sleep to and lift to i respect you're opinion on the song if you don't like it
Kremit The Frog personally I just don't care for Radio hits and it's just a radio hit. not the worse one in all of history just not my fav.
@@zackhartle8629 understandable
"bring on the bass drum" 😂 Mikes Hitting the floor tom not the bass
And Fiction was actually written for Jimmy's side project but after his death the band decided to use it for Avenged instead...
The whole concept of this song and the others on the album is the inner struggle you have coping when you lose a loved one way to soon. The name of the album says it all, this has to be a Nightmare it can't be true. Songs on the album Nightmare, God Hates Us, Victim, and So Far Away all point at the grieving process that the band members, families, and fans felt that day. And for the record I'm Christian. And it's quite judgmental of a pastor of all people to pigeon hole people like that because of the music they choose. And you wonder why your seats in churches are easy to find these days.
Denny Yates I thought I was fairly balanced throughout but perhaps not
Maybe. Fun fact I'm not sure if he knows but Avenged Sevenfold got their band name from the Bible. Have him listen to, "I won't see you tonight part 1" as well as "St. James" "fiction" and a number of others that would help him better understand exactly who they are reaching out too.
The rev (drummer) had health issues and was told he wasn't going to live long. He took his own life because of the pain by taking a mixture of alcohol and pills know as a brompton cocktail. The song was made not to long after his death showing what god allows to happen. I am Christian and I love their music but god allows freewill and you are able to do what you want I'm not saying the song speaks the truth but it shows their pain after losing a close friend or brother.People can also relate to this song. You should have him listen to the revs last song it was a suicide note that he had written before he died. The song is called "Fiction".
I love my life and am not depressed and I appreciate metal for the musicianship and listen to it on a daily
Anyone else hearing this really shitty reverb during the song? The commentary sounds fine; only the song has the reverb, even when they're both going.
Yes, we resolved on later videos.
BigKat TV Nice I'll be checking that out for sure
You guys out of Michigan? Ive seen that Belding shirt pretty local.
Yeah we’re from west Michigan. Where are you from?
