Just was looking for a quick demo of the amp I already own, see what other people are gettin' sound wise. I was NOT expecting Steely Dan reincarnate. Great playing! I have a PRS guitar too, but I only dream of gettin' these sounds like you can.
I do own the same combination. Brilliant for everything from Jazz into Metal. Though I can t get to sound the Express Burn mode as good as this at decent daytime home playing levels. When gigging and the venie can handle the volume it works fine but then there is no time to get the sound combination with the pedalboard right. I get back to clean and distort from pedals. No. We re not that good that we have an ample sound check and setup timeblock for ourselves sadly ... I use the Mesa as clean pedal platform, which is does do brilliantly. Seems a waste of all the other modes and channel though. Well. After playing the amp 10 years Im still not working all its options I guess ... Which is a good thing.
Can you please share the EQ and Channel settings for the burn mode.? Love this. Perfect sound. Great playing. PRS and Boogie. My combo also. Great job.
Care to share those settings on the clean and burn channels ? and EQ settings ? I can't make it out from the video. I'd love to try those on my 5:25 plus. Great playing !!
Daniel Burgess it starts to distort around 4/5 , also depending on the Master setting. In my opinion, if you play with a band and need headroom for the clean sound, go with the 50w. Cheers!

I have the 5:25+. I think there is plenty of clean head room on the clean at 25w; I had no problem at 15w with a drummer.
