12:28 Install CarPlay Sub Board, LVDS cable, and Sub Data cable, then reassemble

Not sure why all the people hating. . . great install video with good quality camera and details. I may be buying this - only wish that the i-knob cable was included with the kit. Otherwise the price goes up to the point where competition may have an edge with a full screen for a bit more money (or they do have just the top screen which is out of stock for better overall cost and it includes the i-knob feature)

Followed everything and when I connect my android phone the music drops out. And the back button on the shifter doesn't bring up android auto only the back button on the steering wheel
Hello, please contact our tech support through text at 714-643-5704 M-F 8:30AM - 4PM PST and they can assist. The steering wheel back button is the only one used to switch back and forth from our system and the OEM system. Please make sure you are in IPOD mode on the OEM media source for sound to play through the speakers. Please see the how to video link below.

I have to say after viewing numerous kits and install videos this one seems more complex and the additional box is huge compared to others. Every other piggyback box is small and fits between the radio and upper screen. If this one offers something the others don't then maybe this makes sense but I'm not seeing it.
Which one would you recommend by chance? Please let me know
Is it possible to switch from the AUX audio version to the IPOD? I don't like having my aux cord in the way

So when you use carplay maps which speaker will it come out off if I'm listening to radio and trying to use GPS?
Hello, there will be sound out of the smaller speaker. We recommend to download the AM/FM app like iHeart radio so you retain the sound from the speakers. Thank you
