  • 'Is that Will Smith?' Chris Rock jokes after Dave Chappelle attacked: An attacker has been left with a broken arm after he stormed a stage and tackled Dave Chappelle to the ground in front of a shocked audience at a Netflix show in Los Angeles. Video from last night's Netflix Is A Joke event shows a man charging on to the stage and leaping on Dave Chappelle, before getting to his feet and evading the panicked security as he fled offstage. Chris Rock, who performed later in the Netflix is a Joke event, then came on stage and joked: 'Was that Will Smith?' Footage later appears to show the attacker being treated by paramedics for an injured arm.

Court jesters were killed if they werent funny, Lenny Bruce was beat up by show goers and the police, Jerry Sadowitz was attacked by the entire crowd in 1991. Its like saying "People who watch violent movies will comit violence". If that were true, where are the hundreds of millions of people killing each other because they saw Star Wars or an Avengers movie. People do what theyre going to do, its always been that way. It's painful to watch Will's career fall apart piece by piece, but that's what happens when you stupidly assault someone on live television. Before "The Slap", Will was viewed as one of Hollywood's most chilled out actors, but now, his legacy will go down in a meme as his life slowly falls apart.
