literally the same case with me! @avi i have my high school exams with start next week and they'll be for a month so literally no time paint or color or draw 😭 i have to study i knowwww but it's so hard not to do anything after watching such a lovely video 🤧
Hey! I really liked this concept! The art was very cool, I liked how you used different medium, and also I love how you see the fun you have in the last piece? It looks like you're done with it and just doing what you feel like and it feels very fun!! And definitely learning to do art quicker and actually finish pieces look like very useful skills to have in the art industry :)

This definitely made me motivated and wanna make me go back to creating art since i slack off quite alot even when i want to create art, maybe because of all these school work that r piled up. having this motivation wants me to make time for the things i really love!! hey, perfectionist here👋🏻 I'm my harshest critic, but I've learned that in order to make good art, you have to make bad art and It's ok if you don't like it,you can't love everything you create😌. Not making art is worse than painting just for fun or something you aren't 100% in love with. I covered up a bad painting with black,because I hated it. One year later I've found it again and had a new idea,I painted roses with acrylic paint and structure paste AND YOU KNOW WHAT,I don't like it 100%,but I tried something new😊👍🏻
This is such a tough challenge to do, so I'm honestly so impressed you threw yourself into it and managed to stick to it! Kinda want to try for myself tbh 👀 And you have a very nice flow to your videos, keep it up! And I think my favorite has to be the needlefelt beetle, do love me a good bug 😌

I don’t usually use acrylics because I struggle to blend them in time before they dry - I know there are slow-dry mediums that can help, but I still struggle to get the consistency right 💔 I also just really love gouache and the way it handles (so smooth and flat, very my style). If you’re used to acrylics, gouache can definitely have a bit of a learning curve, but I totally recommend giving it a shot!
Both! It just depends on what I'm working on - all of the pieces with specific species of plants or animals were referenced, and everything else is from memory :-)
omg i can't believe i didn't say 😭 the background of the moth/butterfly duo is acrylic and the beetle was done in ink, but literally everything else i paint in this video is in gouache. I mostly use holbien artists' designer gouache and i definitely reccomend it! it is super pricey though ;-;
