nobody seems to show how to put the glazed sash back in. I keep looking for a clear demonstration of how to do it and they are all carefully edited to avoid the tricky bit.
I've removed one, but it appears that getting it back in is a two-man job...
Wow so epic
DO EXACTLY THE SAME STEPS OF HOW TO TACK IT OUT BUT IN OPPOSITE WAY !!!
WHICH MEAN PRESS THE BUTTON FIRST THEN PUT THE FRAME BACK EXACTLY IN THE SAME POSITION AS IT WAS WHEN YOU TACK IT OUT AND TURN THE WINDOW BACK AS YOU CLOSE IT YOU WILL HEAR THE BUTTON CLICK BACK THATS ALL M8 .
Yes it doesnt tell you that you need a special screw bit. Thanks velux whyyyyy?
Also can anyone tell me the difference between a edl and edp flashing. My edl doesnt have parts 2 & 4.
that's the easy part.
velux really need to address the fact that Scottish roofs have sarkin boards! Also the slates shown are 400mm or 450mm. smaller slates on a 900mm long Velux can require up to 15 soakers a side not supplied??? Insulation collar is useless and so is the internal vapour barrier. Great skylights but they really need to address this, and as mentioned below the tricky bit of threading the window through the opening is avoided!!

In other words you need professionals!

unnecassarily complicated and overly designed
How? Seems a neat enough design to me.
Not in my opinion. I have five Velux windows that were installed over twenty years ago onto a roof with 34 degree slope, and which are still generally ok despite minimal care or maintenance. I put this down to the good design.
