beautiful set-up my friend .....love how wide you made the tables ....now thats cool how you have a catch tray t wash out your mats ..... great idea ......you did really good on getting that Shiney .... get that thing Patented ..... we Smashed that like button ....we smashed it REAL HARD !!!!!! Love that website ....saw some older pics of you drilling a round..... be safe out there and keep us posted my brother
Hey Bro. Jeff !! Glad you like the vid !! Yes sir, the GR is 50% wider, and a few inches longer, than the test model. And it's a hungry beast too !! Will tire you out fast ! That mat is spot on catching that shiny too ! Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of gold recovered from tailings. I think it was your tee shirt that did it !! Yeah, I wanted to share my story on the website. Lol ! We'll be posting more stuff soon ! Let me know if you need to borrow the Rattler on your claim. Yeehaw ! Thanks for stopping by !! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
I'm so glad I can write. Because I am speechless. The Gold Rattler (P51) is just out of this world. You have turned your inventions into a goldmine, at least. AND... thank You so much for sharing sir👍👍👍💯
Much appreciate the very nice comments. I'm working on logistics to start production mid 2024. Also working with legal, patent, and trademark. I think it's a winner ! Thanks for watching !!
@@allansgoldmining It's sad that there is no desert on the European continent, not in my home country, Norway either🤣 Otherwise I would very much like to order a Gold Rattler from you. And even though it has been a very dry summer, there is enough water in streams and rivers here at home.
Best wishes for you and Gold Rattler (P51🤭) 🇺🇸🫡🇳🇴
On drilling rigs we use electric power washers to clean the shaker screens, but a small honda GX50 with a keene P90 pump and jet nozzle would clean the screen. The honda gx120 and keene php160 (200GPH) pump should give you both the circulation volume and screen cleaning pressure using a control valve and your electric pump with a Y and valve into a pressure nozzle should work to clean the screen which I'm sure you have set up by now.
A small electric powerwasher off your fresh water tank will work even better and add some fresh water to the system.
Very informative. Good advice. I assume you're referring to the dewatering deck ? I've watched a few videos on that.. At home, I clean it with a pressure washer, however, I found a simple green kitchen scrub pad soaked in white vinegar does a real good job, especially out in the field.
Yes, I am enjoying watching you and your marvellous efficient plant.
Thanks for the kind comments John ! Glad you like the wash plant videos. 👍
greatest show on earth the GOLD RATTLER GOLD MACHINE, a 1 person moving machine to the gold site, WITH EASE!, COME ONE , COME ALL AND SEE THE FUTURE OF FINE GOLD GOLD MINING, NO DIGGING NEEDED , JUST FILL THE BUCKET AND WASH, LOVE THE VIDEO ALLEN
Thank you for the kind compliments Tony ! Greatly appreciate it. Thanks for watching !!
You’re a hoot Allan! One hell of a machine you’ve built. Great work.
Thank you ! Glad you like it. More videos to come. Stay tuned and best of luck to you prospecting. 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
The wind was wrong this time . Dusty work. I always try to orient to the wind. But we have a lot of wind. You don't seem to have much wind. But today it was working against you guys.
Have some fun for me too. Thanks again. Great job on the video.
Hi Paul, we get lots of wind out. Blows constantly. You can see the bushes moving in my videos. I use a cordless microphone under my scarf to reduce wind noise. Good luck to you ! 🤠⛏⚒👍
When we were kids we would scrap it out of dried up mud puddles, we called it, Peanut Butter. But I think it’s called, Buttermere.
🤣👍🤠
Haha ! That's a good one ! 👍 The word I was looking for called "Schmutzdecke." Thanks for watching ! Best of luck prospecting. 🤠⚒️⛏️👍👍👍
Can't wait until it is in production! I'll definitely get one. I'll get the gold while my wife collects the clay to make pots. Maybe I'll even build an adobe home!
Great !! Be sure to send me an email from the website, and will put you in line. Thanks for watching ! 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍
Love the concept. Especially that it’s mounted on a trailer. Looking forward to the eventual production release and hopefully a purchase. I’ve followed your progress and even tried a bit to replicate and it’s neither cheap nor ready. Lots of respect on the design changes over this past couple years. ⚡️⚒⚡️
Thanks for the kind words Bob ! Greatly appreciated. 👍 Yeah, the trailer concept makes it easy to set up because all the components are factory set, so no adjustments required. Just level it and she's ready to go ! Thanks for watching my work grow over the years. I think we have a winner. 👍👍👍
Dear Allan, I thoroughly enjoyed this. Please Remember you caught the heavies. I think I see some silver. If you fire assayed, your black sand might pay. I think silver will go up. If it's nonmagnetic It may be silver . If it pans right with the gold . Platinum group metals. Tarnished black color? you absolutely Rock brother1 thank you for your very thorough presentation. things look great. You sound great. You absolutely Rock. I anticipate your next work. Until then. I can watch this! Thank you Bud!
Thanks for your comments Paul. Much appreciated ! Actually, in my district all the copper, silver, and other elements have long since oxidized and floated away. Mostly have metamorphic rocks.
I've watched all your videos from the beginning of this design. I make my own gear too. Appreciate you sharing. Best of luck marketing this unit. It looks great 👍
Thank you, Sir ! Best of luck on your adventures ! 👍🤠⛏️⚒️
You definitely hit this one out of the park!!!
Granted it's for a niche market but that niche pretty darn HUGE. That top shaker deck is out of this world. And best of all just hook it to your vehicle and go
Hey Dave, thanks for watching the details. Yes, I think it's a keeper for sure ! I imagine hundreds of these roaming the desert in search of shiny. Lol ! Thanks for the kind words. Best of luck to you !! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
Great stuff. The efficiency of dry washing depends on many factors. How coarse the gold is, how much clay is in the gravels, how dry the material is, etc. I did some tests years ago on sandy drainage gravels in the Sierra Nevada. Lots less clay and some coarse detectable gold. The overall percentage of the total gold in the gravels was more in the coarse stuff, though there was some fine gold too. I sluiced the tailings and ended up with only a small amount additional recovery by weight. I calculated about 96-97 percent efficiency for dry washing at that particular spot. On the other hand , 60 to 70 percent recovery is not unusual for dry washing, especially at a spot like yours. My point is just that it varies all over the map depending on conditions.
Hi Chris !! Thanks for your wonderful comments ! Indeed there are many factors to consider. Running clean stream gravel is probably more of an exception than standard. The physics behind dry washing makes it extremely difficult to recover fine gold, which tends to dominate desert gravels. Everyone who has shown me their dry washer results have virtually no fine gold. Of course higher losses occur when clay clumps fail to break down on the hopper screen or the riffles. I was amazed at how much gold was recovered from those tailings. More than anticipated. That little nugget was a nice surprise, but probably the exception. Lol ! One of these days I'll have to settle down and write an article for you. 👍 Best of luck to you out there ! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
@@allansgoldmining An article would be great. Just let me know.
I'm off work this week, so maybe I can put my brain to it. Lol !
That is a great piece of Gold collecting equipment
Eureka Yeee Haaa
Well done Allan..
Great Machine for extracting Gold..
Cheers Famo59 👍🍻🤓⛏
Thank a bunch Tony ! Hope you're doing well over there. Probably starting to cool down ? Thanks for watching, and good luck mate !
Allan, great job on the build. It's light and portable, plus it catches all the gold. Great Job, Great Video!
Thanks Rick !! Glad you like it. Really is a fun machine to operate.👍 The mat is the best I've ever tested too. Shawn did a great job designing it. 👍
Hey Everyone ! Jeff Wilson just guessed the correct answer for the gooey gunk on top of the sand filter. It's called: "Schmutzdecke "
Congratulations Jeff! That was my next guess............. enjoy your gold and great machine Allan!
Schmutzdecke is a sediment. It doesn't necessarily need to contain organisms. If you want to get critical, the dirt in the desert contains many spores and organisms however.
It's amazing the progress you have made over the years of improvements Great job. i know it will be a blessing to a lot of people.
Thank you for the kind words Joe !! Glad you enjoyed watching it ! 👍
That is one GREAT Machine GREAT JOB.!
Thanks for watching !! Glad you enjoyed the Gold Rattler in action. I invite to watch more Gold Rattler videos on my channel. Best of luck to you prospecting ! 🤠⚒️⛏️👍
The Gold Rattler is a beast! I love it! Thanks for sharing your design it is awesome. Can't wait to get back to the desert
Thank you so much for watching. Glad you liked it !! Look forward to doing business with you. Best of luck ! ⚒⛏🤠👍👍👍
Genius design!
Thank you sir ! 👍👍👍
Absolutely fantastic
Thanks Mike ! Glad you like the Gold Rattler ! 👍👍👍
Love your ability to filter the water. That's a real trick.nice job I am impressed.
Thanks Mike ! Glad you like it ! Thanks for watching, and best of luck to you. 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
Wow Allan! I'm speechless, you've come a long way with now an Amazing machine! Happy to see it. 😊🤙✌
_~ Keep On Rockin' ~_
Thanks Michael !! Appreciate the nice compliments !!
Awesome. So excited for you and your Rattler.
Awsome system and you came up with it, hats off to your engineering talents it is awsome....
Thank you Sir ! Much appreciated. Hope to get this in production so more folks can enjoy it. 👍🤠⛏️⚒️
Awesome presentation Allan! You've done so much in such a short time. Enjoying watching your progression into business. Time is flying by, our group of folks are watching and waiting. We're coming to your state to set up our own. Youtubin and doing all we can do now to get squared away when we arrive. I'll send you an email. If you ever want to collaborate, just let me know.
As to your trivia at the start of the video. My ex-wife used Yiddish a lot. She would have called that "schmutz" and I'd just call it muck. Have a great day! -Christian
Hi Christian ! Good to hear for you. Look forward to meeting sometime. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your story. I learned about Schmutzdecke a few months ago, while studying different sand filter modalities. Thought it was an interesting name ! Figured it had German or Hebrew origins. 🤔 Best of luck to you out there ! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
Great job all around fam. loving the setup indeed fam. Keep on having fun getting that au and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!
Very nice experiment and it real works. Thanks again❤
absolutely Magnificent presentation ☝🏽❤️✌🏽
Thanks Garfield ! Much appreciated ! Thanks for watching. Good luck prospecting ! 🤠⚒⛏👍
Wow!!!!!
Wow!!!!!
Wow!!!!!
You did it!!! You have the perfect balance of small foot print, hard-core robust workmanship and unique innovation in every idea! Good job Allan!!!!!! You should feel very accomplished
Bravo!!!!
Hey John, thanks so much for the super nice comments and compliments. Much appreciated !!! Glad you enjoyed the videos. Certainly a labor of love, putting it together. Took a lot of R&D to come up with this prototype. Working getting this in production so everyone can have one.👍 Best of luck to you prospecting. 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍
@@allansgoldmining you're welcome Allan! You earned those compliments sir. I've had to refine my own ideas through R&D and I know how many hours it takes and how difficult that thought process can be sometimes. It takes true Innovation and a grit to see it all the way through. Really telling of your character and high intellect. It's nice you're so humble but I know what I'm looking at. I'd be proud to own one of your Rattlers! When they go into production I'd buy one. Have a great weekend buddy
@@jetskiwrench4093 We'll definitely build one for you, or sell it as a kit to save a few $$$. Again, thanks for the great words. It's nice to know someone who understands the effort. 👍👍 Definitely stay in touch and best of luck to you !! 🤠⛏⚒👍
Long way from the blue trommel. Good for you.
Indeed ! But I still like the trommel too. Cheap to build. Many have built one and enjoy prospecting with it. 👍 The GR is a culmination of my journey. Thanks for watching ! 👀 👍
Hey..I’ve dry washed..that great …..what an improvement
Thanks Howard ! I still enjoy dry washing too. Fun way to test ground.
@@allansgoldmining as long as your down wind.
good job, Allan ! We meet last week at Family Dollar. I like that rack u made to clean sluice mat. That area is heavy clay/silt , my ponds are loaded , need cleaning twice a day with backhoe. Also, they assay fine gold, -200 m. Again, great job
Hey thanks Don. Good meeting you too !! Glad you enjoyed the video. We'll get together next time. Best of luck out there. 👍👍👍
Educational 👍👨🔧 thank you from Montana
well done
Wow absolutely brilliant engineering design that keeps getting better with every iteration. Having a good idea is one thing actually implementing it and creating a functioning prototype is amazing. Well done sir you have raised the bar.
Many thanks for the kind words Philipp ! Yeah, I think this is it. We have a winner. Just have to work logistics and start production. 👍
@@allansgoldmining your earliest videos with the 5 gallon bucket trommel inspired me to try modelling a small wash plant, and even though being in Pennsylvania water isn't a problem , water management is critical to satisfying operation. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain your setup up .with the sand filters and the time to setup and break down your system (up here we don't want to breed mosquitoes in tubs of water left sitting out)
That's great Phillippe !! I didn't know there's gold in PA ? I always associate with coal. Where do you prospect, if you don't mind me asking ? I know there's gold in NC, IN, WI, NE.
@@allansgoldmining i'm in chester county not far from Valley Forge and Phoenixville. Historically significant gold was found as a byproduct of iron ore mining. I try to keep a five gallon bucket in my car and pick up gravels at various locations that are publicly accessible. I haven't found anything locally yet but have some paydirt from Georgia to test my system. Actually a problem for me is my local dirt is excessively full of black sands.
Allen, you did great! Really like your show and I hope you do GREAT with the Rattler.
Thank you Frank ! Glad you liked it !
Good Going Allen been watching you've come a long way!!!
Clay. Love the process
Schmutzdecke was the answer 👍 Thanks for watching. Good luck prospecting ! 🤠⚒⛏👍
That's the best system that you've come up with I like it can't wait to see more of it
Thanks Ron ! Much appreciated. I think we have a winner with this machine. 👍
That thing is a beast.
It truly is a fun machine to operate. Glad you like it ! 👍👍👍
Nice Alan!!!!
what a great design, good luck with production.
Thanks for the nice compliments Tommy ! Glad you enjoyed the video !! Best of luck to you prospecting. 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍
Very good product, I’m impressed
Glad you like it ! It's a fun machine to operate, and if there's gold in the ground it will get it all ! Thanks for watching !
This is a really great video i love the prototype such amazing attention to detail and the recovery is spot on. This is a piece of equipment i will need for my operation.
Thanks for the kind words and great to have you as a future customer.👍👍👍
Wow! That's a little bit of everything machine.. The 10 or more in one☺️
Impressive Allan, even tho I don't quite understand it all👍😃 Thank you and loads of growth with your new invention there🤙
Thank Lisa for the nice comments ! Glad you liked the video. The idea behind this machine is to maximize gold recovery. Traditionally, in the desert, people use dry washers to recover gold. They are very portable simple machines that don't require water to operate. Unfortunately, their recovery rate isn't good. That's where my contraption comes in play. Lol ! A bit more involved, but recovery rate is +98%.
Outstanding Allan! I recognize this from your larger wash plant and you've really downsized and knocked it clear out of the park. Congratulations ahead of time because I have no doubt your patent will be granted.
Didn't want to read all the comments to see if anyone called out the sludge properly but I do believe it would be called Slurry.
Hi Joseph ! Thanks for watching the video and smashing the Like Button ! Actually, the Gold Rattler is 50% larger that my previous models. However, it is just as tall, which makes it easy to feed. The Gold Rattler Strikes Again video I talk about those details. Thanks for the kind compliments ! The sludge is called "Schmutzdecke." Sorry you can't make to Pomona, but certainly understand for sure. 👍👍👍
@@allansgoldmining Schmutzdecke, shucks I don't think I can even say that!!🤣🤣🤣
Must be the other wash plant I saw in a later video was something different. I remember something much longer.
Awesome intro my friend. Great video Allan, wash plant was well explained, both parts and operation. The sand filters are really amazing and very simple. Looks like a Harbor freight trailer. I think you have a winner after all this time and effort.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Chuck !!! Thanks for the great compliments !! Yeah, I think this is a keeper for sure. 👍 Yep, its a HF 41"x48" trailer. The dewatering deck is key to the filtering success.. Really is a fun machine to operate. Thanks for tuning in and best of luck to you and Sheryl. 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
Great video! Impressive system you have put together.
Glad you enjoyed the show Jeff ! And thanks for guessing the correct sediment name too ! Send me an email through the website with your address and I'll send you the paydirt. Cheers !
Mate! Now this here unit of yours is the bee’s knees in gold recovery units. To top it off it’s on its own trailer. DANG! I’d love something like this in Australia.
Some day we will need to open an AUS dealership. Had several inquiries, and the land is perfect for it. 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
Looks great Allan, see ya soon.....chris
Another amazing video Allan. Thanks for sharing that
Hey Alan, glad you liked the video. Best of luck to you ! 🤠⛏⚒👍
@@allansgoldmining Do you have any videos that pertain to separating black sand? Your help would be greatly appreciated
Not really. I use a Blue Bowl to separate cons at -25 mesh. Anything larger, I hand pick with tweezers. There are many videos on how to operate a Blue Bowl. Some good, others not so...
@@allansgoldmining Thank you, I'll look into the blue bowl and see what I can come up with.
Great job. I really like it.

I remember you talking to us in line about this being almost ready at the Phoenix gold show here in March. Always a pleasure seeing you in AZ. Nice work bro!
Thanks Rene. Glad you enjoyed the show. Maybe see you again at the next AZ Gold Show. Cheers !
excellent work and i LOVE the evolution of how things have been going on this alan from the first trommel to now this stage and reincarnation :) and the progression of it all :) Paul J Conroy Sr
Thanks for the great comments and compliments. Much appreciated ! Certainly an evolution from in-the-garage DIY projects to something commercial. I think this is a winner. Appreciate your following and subscription over all these years. Best of luck to you prospecting ! 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍
Very clever. I have a feeling you enjoy the process more than the actual mining. Nothing wrong with that, some would probably say I'm a bit of the same. Bought some of those shakers couple days ago for a mining project. Glad to see they work good, haven't received them yet. Good job man. Looks good!
Thanks for the nice compliments Brandon ! Like the account name ! 👍 I'm an engineer at heart for sure. But I do like feed material through it. You should see the nuggets I recovered this weekend on virgin ground. Will be posting a video soon, so stay tuned. 👍 BTW, where did you buy the shaker deck and dewatering deck ? Was this for large commercial operation ?

You are a genius. I'm just getting into prospecting. I'd love to have this setup. I probably can only afford jus the 3 decks though.
Thanks for the kind compliments Shilo. Much appreciated ! As I'm working through production logistics, I'm considering a kit option to save $$$ for customers who have the ability to assemble themselves. Don't know what the savings will be, however, my best guess is about $1,000. 👍
Allan! I really enjoyed the demonstration of how easy your system is to use, how efficiently it recovers the gold, and how miserly it is with water usage. It really ticks the boxes for the serious desert prospector. Someone wanting to take their game to the next step would do will with this rig. It's light enough that someone could pull it behind their side-by-side to get right to their favorite spot. Two thumbs up!
Thank you for the nice compliments and comments. Greatly appreciated !! 👍👍 I agree, this machine is a game changer, and yes, very easy to tow right up to the dig site. It can easily be whinched down a hillside if need be. I think this offers good versatility for most prospectors. Going to shoot another video this weekend and show a few details that didn't get covered in the latest video. Thanks again, and best of luck to you prospecting. 👍⛏⚒🤠
Kinda cool, good luck in Dolan Springs.
Thanks ! No gold in Dolan Springs. Have to travel 25 miles up the road. 🤠
It looks really good. I need a new project
Don't know about the US but here in Australia we call it "The Slimes"
Schmutzdecke. 🤣
Very interesting and good recycling water. Worked few systems of my own. Was wondering the water softener to break down surface tension to catch mor fine gold
Jet dry. You see it bubbling on the dewatering shaker deck at start of video. 👍
Hi Alan, for quicker set up and leveling have you thought about having 2x 400mm Drop Down Corner Legs W/Handle Steel Base 1200LBS Caravan Camper Trailer for the back or even 4x. Just a suggestion. Thanks again for everything you do to help those who love to do what you do easier. Cheers Shaun.
Hi Shaun. Thanks for the suggestion. During the design phase, I looked into that, as well as many devices. In conclusion, the aluminum stands were the lowest cost and offered more versatility. Within the same thought, I felt it would be best to leave it up to the customer to modify the unit for their particular circumstances. So, if you want to install mounted jacks, the Gold Rattler could certainly accommodate. Best of luck to you !! 🤠⛏⚒👍👍👍
Fantastic job Allen. Now you just need some quick poles to make a shady canopy with some Aluminite over your plant.
Actually, I have a 10x10 Coleman pop-up canopy that I use during the summer. 👍👍👍🤠⚒⛏
@@allansgoldmining Get some Aluminet 70% shade cloth. This is the stuff the Burning Man people use on their Yurts. Its easily 10+F cooler under it and much better than regular shade cloth. Gold basin is hot enough as it is.

It is amazing how well you designed it to fit so well on the trailer. I was wondering how that was going to work from your working setup you had. Any guess as to the yardage ran with that much water?
Hi Denny. Thanks for watching! Depending on the moisture content of the pay dirt, will use 40 gallons to process a cubic yard.
not only is that a master crafted item that thing works amazingingly well i am very impressed the way the silt collects in the buckets is interesting and being as to how it is a clayish material it would be interesting to see if you could collect it and actually use it for something very very very impressed
Hi Shane !! Thank you for the super kind words and compliments !!! 👍👍👍 Yeah, those sand filters are pretty amazing. The dewatering deck in combination with them is key to success. Many have shared thoughts about the clay for all kinds of purposes. Might be worth more than the gold ? Lol !! 🤔 Personally, I think it would make a good cosmetic facial treatment, just like all those other mud facials ! Could advertise it has gold particles that reduce aging. Could sell a million bottles. Lol !!! Thanks again for your thoughts. Best of luck to you prospecting. 🤠⚒⛏👍👍👍

Hi Allan, Do you have the part number of the Tsurumi pump you use so that I can use a comparison as when the day comes and I can order your Gold Rattler due to Australia having 240v systems I most likely will need to order different electrical systems. Thanks again.
Good point Shaun. The entire unit operates on 110 volt 60 Hrz. Also the generator output. Would it be possible to use a converter ? Or, are there 110 volt generator available in your country ? Otherwise, I'll have change all the motors to 240v. The Tsurumi model is #HS2.4S-62, 3100GPM, 1/2 HP, 2 inch outlet.

Yes, I have considered it. There is are a couple companies that make them but very $$$$. I've looked into conveyors as well. Same thing.
Don't know what the mud is called, other than sediment, but it would make some good adobe bricks !
Nice machine 👏 👌 !
Yeah, we have plenty to make bricks for sure. LOL !
"Blue-dirt" I believe. - The 49'ers threw it out until later founder there was gold in the ore.
Well if there gold in the mud, it would require leaching with cyanide to extract it. The blue sludge you're referring to occurred in Six Mile Canyon. It kept clogging up the sluice riffles. Someone assayed it and was high-grade silver ! They followed it up the canyon and discovered the outcrop. Known as the Ophir deposited, it was the birth of the Comstock Lode, and Virginia City. 👍👍👍🤠⚒⛏
I think clay sludge turns into collechi.
