You should do his song, Mama next. He has finally forgiven his mom. He performed Mama on his 1st stop of his tour and couldn't finish the song. NF is a great storyteller with his words. Keep tissues close by. Loved the emotion in this reaction.
even after hearing it for 20 times i still cry every time. This is why i love NF he is so amazing and i love him and his music so much and cant wait to see him in afas amsterdam when he gives a concert there. Cant wait to meet him
❤ so emotional. That last verse he broke down and kicked everyone out of the studio and recorded the rest himself. He considered not putting it out like that but he decided he wanted people to see how raw it was for him
Nate's crying, you're crying, my eyes aren't going to stay dry. This song is so powerful and I've read comments that people have turned their lives around after hearing this song (or having their child play them this song). That's what's real. nfrealmusic makes a difference. Thanks for your compassionate reaction - and your healing words at the end for those that have been through something like this. Beautiful.
Loved your reaction. Not many reactors are tough enough to sit thru this entire video without a pause. Especially the men. Not because of copyrights, tho that is certainly a risk but more because their male bravado fights against the showing of their emotions. Glad u didn't pause because this song is important. Not just because it shows a very personal and vulnerable side of NF but because is so so relatable for far too many people. NF shows, just as you eloquently stated, the consequences of addiction not only to the addict but of their loved ones. NF showed those consequences from both a child and a young adult survivor's perspective. The consequences of the fallout of the addiction itself to the family and also the impact of tragic loss of a mother-it's something you can never get over but at some point you have to forgive the loved one and yourself to find some kind of peace with it. He was brutally honest. It's a rare piece of art this one. Maddy each of your words were important. Ty also for sharing your emotions with us thru it. Sorry this so long. Hugs. Mark
*I love how you squint when you smile in all your other reactions. But showing your emotions* (which is a type of bravery as nasty as the internet is) *Then your lovely words at the end shows your inside is as beautiful as your outside.*
Man, as a dad of 2 daughters(one being close to your age I’m guessing) no video has ever made me want to reach through and give the reactor a hug like this did when the song hit you. A very difficult but important song, great reaction.
*This song always gets me the feels but you're tears almost got me emotional. **#NF** made everyone leave the studio when he recorded that last verse of him crying in the recording booth*
i love that you let it completely run trough without stopping. that just shows how you’re gonna get soaked into his mind and memories. great reaction as always. can you consider doing joyner lucas “i’m sorry” next? this also hits hard and is a really deep, great song
NF (Nathan John Feuerstein) born March 30, 1991. He had a difficult childhood, his parents divorced when he was very young. He and his two sisters lived with their mother, who was addicted to opioid. One of his mother’s boyfriends physically abused him and one of his sisters, so his father took the three children away. Due to strained relations, the children did not see their mother much. During high school years, NF severed contact with his mother because he felt uncomfortable when the court ordered that a social worker should monitor their conversations. In 2009, his mother died of drug overdose.
I always say this song is a psychopath test. If you don't cry listening to this song and watching this video, you are a psychopath. It should be required watching for everyone at DFACS and the families involved in addiction. Your reaction was perfect. Thank You.
People have been telling me that for years that it's not my fault since I was 9 but I still and have felt that everything that is wrong with others is my fault. It's a burden I've carried my whole life, but thanks for the reminder
You’ve made it through the roughest part of the journey. “Mama” is the sequel, of his newest album Hope. You can see the growth. That would be a great next reaction. Or if you want to change it up, I’d say “Story” Cheers and hugs
Kind of off-topic, but-Your comments at the end reminds me of a Tool song. Parabola. “This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality. Embrace this moment. Remember, we are eternal-all this pain is an illusion”.
