I found the music is a little too loud in Other News. Or maybe the music style was just a little bit distracting
It’s just the volume. It needs compression, the volume should duck every time John speaks.

Agreed, irritating, but lower volume could help.
They don't even need music for it. Each topic was like 1 minute. They don't use music for the main topics.
RIP Jon Schnepp. I do sometimes wonder what this show would be like with his influence. I would have loved to have heard his take on pretty much everything since his passing. I swear man, all the wrong people leave us.

Hey guys… I love the show so much, it’s been a regular part of my day for a few years now. if I’m working late, I always put the show on to listen to, however, the music in the background made it very difficult to hear John talking. Please lower the volume or get rid of it altogether. You don’t really need it.

They tend to keep trying new things that just don’t always click, and this isn’t the obligatory “I don’t like changggeee” it’s just some things don’t fit the show, the beat sounding like Rays about to drop a 🔥 verse on the mic is one of them lol.
The other for me is spending half the show fan-casting something..
I feel like I have to state, I genuinely love these guys! (All of them) They’re part of my daily routine.
I’m not just some contrarian hater, criticising everything and anything they try, just noting some things just don’t work.. but maybe that’s just a subjective pov, I dunno.

Speaking of Warhammer, Robin Williams was notoriously huge into Warhammer 40k and would actually play against people. Apparently he had so many miniatures that after he passed his daughter Zelda donated a large portion of them to charity.

I'm seeing Furiosa next Thursday. Looking forward to it. By the way, One More Shot that stars Scott Adkins and Michael Jai White was a direct to video movie. Netflix didn't make it, they just picked up the streaming rights. Totally understandable that it flew under everyone's radar. DTV movies from Adkins usually have no marketing budget.

Wasn’t the budget for the original John Wick film $20 million? The franchise has always been good on making quality films for a small budget so I trust Donny, who has directed a few Hong Kong movies to keep the film under budget

The closest screening of Blue Angels to me is Tyler galleria in riverside where campea & crew go, it isnt playing in regal theaters at all for some reason.

I am a fan of both. I wasn’t sure outside of circle which is bigger. Is Highlander still a remembered property and being a mini painter I see a lot warhammer news in geek circles but I also am aware that is confirmation bias on my part. I am a bigger highlander fan.

Bruce Willis movie barely ever mentioned Blind date and yes Hudson Hawk, all the die hards both yards movies red 1 and 2. His tv show with cybal shepherd moonlighting, all his tv appearances even his role in the expendables.

True, I feel u bro, The better example would have been, If I (JC) threw a party and someone Verbally assaulted my wife, It could go a step further than it went on the Oscar’s. Which any guy would feel like that. But if you throw a house party and someone at your party is assaulted , I highly doubt that JC is jumping anybody, lol. Having been to parties where not everyone I arrived with was fortunate enough to leave. It’s an entirely different energy. But overall I get what JC was trying to say I just think he’s misguided a bit…Plus it was 2 years ago, Let’s talk about Will Smiths Films and keep it moving….
RE: Daisy's accent. It irritates me in a movie when a group of friends have different accents. They grew up in the same town. They should all have the same basic accent. It doesn't happen much in "real world" stories but in SF and fantasy, it happens a lot. Rey sounds like a posh English girl, in a town where no one else does. Andor has a Mexican accent, in a town where no one else does. They weren't born there, but they grew up there. Immigrant children grow up with accent that surrounds them. Pop an 8 year old Mexican kid in New York, and by the time there 25, they will have an NY accent.
Actually I've found that people keep the accents they start with from young ages. Like, my parents moved to the UK in their teens and they're now in their mid-70s, and still have thick foreign accents.

I will not move on,….I don’t like bullies and will never and have not watch any of will smith past and future movies ever again.who suffered more public humiliation will or rock.being bitch slapped is one of the worst things that can happen to a man let alone being witnessed by millions,…and the movies and roles he lost was a drop in a huge bucket full of millions.
For the love of all that is holy, don't play music during 'In Other News' section. It feels so cheap and is very distracting: it's like hearing spoken word that's out of time over the top of music.
No more Will Smith. It’s not about the justice system in the States (he should not be in jail) And it is not about cynicism. It is about work. He’s lost his place in this tough industry because of his unhinged actions. He had a great career, and has plenty of money - but for me he is a “has-been”. He is done as an actor. Bring on new talent
If he's still a good actor and has a lot more good acting in him (and if he still wants to act), then he could have another decade or two of work
