In this Furiosa Review we breakdown the performances, the direction, action, story, music, & MORE.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS
Hell yeah. Tom Hardy was superb as Max. I mean to turn that rule into your own after Mel Gibsons portrayal shows you how good he was as the title character.
Great SOYFACE.

No
How wild is it that this year we've had 3 movies based on very old IPs (Dune, Planet of the Apes, and Mad Max,) that all just looked gorgeous and were some of the best installments within those IPs. Crazy!
Peak Cinema 🎥
4 you missed Godzilla!!! What time to be alive to see these franchises thrive
Really has been a great year for movies, and we still have Deadpool and Wolverine to drop!
Do you want to see *Tom Hardy* return as Max?!
yes yes and yes!
I saw y'all for a advertisement on the big screen 😀
Oh hell yeah
Was Hardy confirmed to be the same Mel Max??
I thought he was the lil boomerang kid from the original Mad Max trilogy..??
I haven't followed the lore closely but I assume because Mel Max seemed to experience the world shortly after the apocalypse that the Tom Hardy character was a generation or two afterward.
Is the original trilogy not canon now?
Genuine questions, I'm kind of in the dark
PLZ
Should George Miller direct Chris Hemsworth in Thor 5?
yes he should direct!!! start a petition!
F🤬N' A!!!
Now there's a good idea.
YES AND YES
No. He's too old to waste time on a MCU movie. More Mad Max please
Dune and now Mad Max Furiosa, IMAX fans eating good this year and these films deserve IMAX
Cant believe Miller is 80 year's old , nobody can continue this epic series except him.
He’s 78 years old

actual bot, saw this comment on the official Trailer
@@ahmadmohammed4415 79 actually noob

WHAT A LOVELY DAY! Fun fact... Anya was raised in Argentina and speaks Spanish with that accent fluently, so she's my fellow South American of sorts.
She lived in Argentina until she was 6. She was raised and educated in London
Good review. Agreed, just saw it in IMAX, totally incredible 10/10. Insanely stimulating and cool
I feel like Chris Hemsworth is this generations Brad Pitt - a character actor in the body of a leading man. Happy that he’s getting a chance to show another side of his talents
I think Hemsworth is much funnier and quite frankly a better actor than Pitt.
@@davidd.6448 No way. Hemsworth is getting better, but he is not even close to Brad Pitt's range.
Pitt is definitely better actor @@davidd.6448
He isn't as talented as Brad. Not even close. To me.
@@michaelgreene4816 I would contend that he hasn’t been given the same level of material to work with that Brad was, but he’s also just a different actor in general. The comparison was more that they’re both “quirky actor in hot body” rather than him being exactly like Brad
“Oh, what a day! What a LOVELY day!” Gonna see it next Thursday in IMAX with my brother and dad, getting real excited for it. Thanks guys!
Looks and sounds like the best way to see this Epic Movie
WOW! "Possibly my favorite movie of the year". That's high praise!
Ah....good old sarcasm....cos there's a lack of good movies this year.
The sequel to Fury Road should be directly right after Fury Road. Like the moment after Max is wandering away from the citadel that would be interesting to start the film with it back in the distance and him wandering
I’m so hype for this movie I love Chris Hemsworth & Anya Taylor Joy
So excited to see this movie and to see Chris Hemsworth in this movie also! 👍
I'm really excited for this. I already know I'm gonna love Hemsworth's performance
“Witnessed” it on Friday. And Greg, I couldn’t agree with you more. THAT was cinema. Absolutely loved it.
You guys have single-handedly convinced me to go to the cinemas this weekend to see it.
I never watch in a moviehouse anymore but I am glad I did. Amazing cinematography -- and what glorious sound. Sound design is just amazing in this movie.
LOVED the movie! I was exhausted in the end. I had no idea it was 2.5 hours going in. I also purposely avoided any and all previews, before seeing it.
A phenomenal spectacle for the eyes and ears.
Too bad the opening was abysmal, but I think that has to do more with streaming killing the theater, then it does the validity of the film.
I suspect as word gets out, you’ll actually see the numbers go up for the movie. Hoping next weekend gives us good news, otherwise Hollywood is just going to give up on theaters entirely and come on, man…arcades, malls…do we have to lose EVERYTHING that’s good in life??
I guess we still have bowling alleys!
Anya Taylor Joy watched the original footage of the movie, and was traumatized by what she had just seen, unaware of what kind of movie she was making.
well no, she was traumatized because she had a terrible experience filming the movie.
@@maddiejung974Where did you hear that? I’ve only heard her glowing reviews of making this movie
@@Jamesadamiak she said it in an interview, she said she wont go into more detail until years later.
@@maddiejung974 Hi, can you please share more info on which interview exactly (title of a video, etc,).
@@beltenebrosgr1904 just type it into google, variety and deadline reported on it.
I cant wait to watch it myself but im glad to hear your guys positive review ☺️
“Do you have it on you to make it epic?” Ooooooh fuck yeah they did.
This was world development at its best. So much action. Must be seen at the theater.
Good to know. Already got my tickets for me and the family. Super excited!
Chris Hemsworth in this Looks More like Thor than any other MCU Movie. 😂😂
One of the things I like to quantify when watching a prequel is how well it doubles as a prelude to what came before it.
Could 'Furiosa' be shown before 'Fury Road' and wow a first time viewer? Personally, I think so. I don't pit one movie against the other, I see them as two halfs of a singular whole.
I'm super excited to see this movie. I can't wait til I get to a point where I can see these early showings😅. Here in Colorado I think the earliest showing is next Thursday. You guys are awesome! Great review!
Yay! I love your out of the theater reviews! 🥰 There's just something so special about capturing the energy out of the theater. Yay for cinema! Thanks for the thorough review guys! 🖤
You guys are making me more excited to watch the movie
You should be excited!
I was waiting for your review of Furiosa, glad you liked it!
Knew it was gonna be good when Hideo Kojima said it was 😭😭😭
absolutely loved it as well, going to see it again this weekend!
I'm so pumped to see this movie, great video guys
Thanks for the honest review. I think many are expecting a reprieve of Fury Road or a rinse & repeat which would be weak. Although comparisons are inevitable one should watch this & review it on its own merits not as a comparison to one of the greatest movies ever, which is Fury Road. Even though we have many of the same characters in the same landscape, the Wasteland & the same lore underpinning it all, I expect something new & fresh. From you review I garner that’s what we will get.🙃👍
Yeah, DUNE Pt 2 already took Movie of the Year for me, but slots 2, 3, 4, & 5 are still open.
Here first I love you guys ❤❤❤
When Roxy and Tara get to Curse Of Chucky and Cult Of Chucky, Greg better make sure they watch the unrated cuts for those movies since the theatrical cuts don't have the post credit scenes that set up the next installment because Greg keeps skipping the unrated versions like he did with The Descent, Jennifer's Body and the Saw movies
So we just going to ignore solid snake cameo huh. That was epic👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
IMAX booked for opening night, cannot wait!!
This movie was better than dune 2 imo! Haven’t seen dune 1 yet, I have trouble investing in its universe, but I found this universe easy to enjoy. Also found the story more rewarding. What a great movie!
Wow. Genuinely surprised the movie is this GOOD!
Dang wasn't too hyped about it but now I kinda wanna check it out in theaters. The ministry of ungentpemanly warfare just hit digital! A reaction to that would be awesome! That was a fun movie!
You made a good choice with audio over visual tyty
Glad y'all liked it!!
watching next week I'm so exciting
I am excited to see this after Fury Road so many years ago. I KNOW they’ve done a great job. I mean it’s taken this long- so it better be, right?!
Did they even use actual IMAX cameras when shooting though? I feel like this is one to just watch in Dolby if anything
How on earth is a man nearing his 80es able to put to shame 90% of the younger and hyper action movies directors in Hollywood is beyond me.
This movie is the ACTUAL Fast and Furious (a) !
Talent......😊
I’ve been waiting for your apes review 😭❤️🦍
They probably are going to react to it instead of reviewing it.
The trailer looked cheap. And without Max it's less interesting. But damn did not expect this to get so many good reviews, glad to see.
Can’t wait to explore the world and lore he created in the comics and the world he built around the characters for fury road
Great to hear this! One thing I do want to know because I don’t think you guys mentioned it, how is the CGI and use of green screen in the movie? The last trailer they put out had a moment that really took me out of it so I am just wondering lol.
Nah works great in movie. Theres some moments the trailers just don't convey or show you - which is a good thing
@@ReelRejects gotcha ok because when I saw the first few trailers I got worried that this movie has lost the idea of what it meant to shoot a lot of the action and what not practically on real locations like the first movie did
Looks like he went too much on the cgi … hope I’m wrong but trailers looked full of it
@@w1ldcard743 that’s what I’m saying that’s why I asked
Those of us that have played the video game... Will love every little Easter egg in this
I'm so excited for Mad Max Origins: Furiosa
Perfect I can’t wait 💯🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Is this movie show in full screen of the IMAX screen or letterboxing on the screen ?
Looking forward to seeing this
I've been anticipating "FURIOSA" since it was announced, can't wait till next Thursday night and now Bring on "Mad Max:The Wasteland".
The Mad Max collectors box set is now "EPIC".
Can't believe you said Ladies & gentlemen and not Lady and gentlemans.
Yes Tom hardy should return as Max! Love this channel, And also a random note I just watched your reaction to 17 again an I wanted to say you should react to Charlie St. Cloud it’s an older movie an underrated but I think you’ll like it. I haven’t seen anyone else have a reaction to it. It’s kind of a tear jerker but great movie
Fury Road is one of my all time favorite movies.
Can’t wait to watch this in IMAX Sydney, it’s gonna be INSANE
I bet these movies go so hard in Australia!

Anyone else feel like the cast from Hot Tub Time Machine watching Crispin Glover's character?
Absolutely loved Furiosa!
I just saw a premiere of it!
I can't fuckin wait! I'm a huge fan of Fury Road & the video game. I want more! I still can't stop playing the game. Been through multiple times. Best car combat ever!
All I wanna know…will there be the “flaming guitar guy” in this!!!
You should go back and look at some of the stuff Miller talks about before he even made the original Mad Max movies. He created a TON of lore before even making the first movie. It's crazy how much of a background he writes out ahead of time for each character.
Cant wait. Dont care how long it is.
I didn’t think a movie could possibly top Dune. I’ll have to watch this in iMax
Dune overrated
@@straightfacts6482 nope , Dune is underrated
It's not anywhere close to dune
@@straightfacts6482no
@@Scifi4lifeyeah dune is below furiosa
Loved Fury Road 💙 can't wait
WHICH WAS BETTER IN YOUR OPINION. FURY ROAD. OR FURIOSA ???
Been looking forward to seeing this one but still wanna see a MAD MAX flick.
Can't wait to see this movie
Haven't seen it but Chris Helmsworth, as a big Aussie actor, in this universe just seems perfect. What if George Miller could get Hugh Jackman in there and Mel Gibson back. That would be incredible.
Did you see the fan made HOPE AND GLORY? The Mad Max short works as a nice warm-up before watching FURIOSA in theatres
Thanks for the shoutout. Yes, it is a good way to shorten the waiting time for the big screen event. Enjoy the short film!
John is looking jacked
Going too see it today
The chariot powered by motorcycles rather than horses is pretty funny.
It's a wild ride.
Your eyes will not leave the screen and I will go see it in Imax next.
Someone said this movie has a similar structure to the new Hunger games movie which is cool
Is this one I can watch with my parents?
0:54 I knew it was going to be more than just an origin story the moment I saw the runtime is 2 hours and 28 minutes
Greg, I like your curly hair soo muchh
I might be the only one that wants this but I still would like a DC movie by George Miller. I wish we could’ve seen how his JL Mortals played out
*OMG LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOO*
Good movie, but why was there very limited soundtrack this time? Made the few action scenes kinda lifeless... also comparing furiosa to Dune 2 is crazy...
You should react to dune prophecy trailer !
My take is so different from yours that I am wondering if we are talking about the wanted movie! 😮
I wanted to see Furiosa since I saw the first preview!
This Memorial Day Weekend, I had a commercial drone job at sunrise, where I lost my drone ($1500 gone!).
Then, in the afternoon, I watched Furiosa on the AMC IMAX screen at Lincoln Square in Manhattan. I had a fantastic seat, centered, ready to forget the disaster with my drone, earlier that day.
One hour into the movie, I was looking for an escape route! I felt bad if I would've have gotten up, and disturbed everyone's viewing experience., So I suffered through the remaining 90 minutes.
Visually, it was great, Chris Hemsworth was really good. But, it was looooong, way too long, loud anever-endinging battles.
Just going on and on and on. Then it became unclear who was battling whom and what side some people were on.
So, to summarize: *LOSING MY DRONE WASN'T THE WORST THAT HAPPENED TO ME ON THAT DAY!*
That movie is so epic I wanna go see it again
I already reserved my furousa a mad max saga movie tickets
You guys are doing the meme. Unironically.
Great to see the reviews, unfortunately bleak dystopian futures are not my thing. I'll probably watch it when it is on streaming and somebody else in my household wanna watch it.
Forsure favorite movie of the year
chris hemsworth was fantastic. \Looks like he has a great future as a character acter
I’ll be watching the movie on Friday
How did they explain no one was looking for Furiosa when she ran off before she became the stowaway?
Just wanted a new Mad Max game like Helldivers 2. Anyone can participate everywhere in this post apocalyptic world with a narrative based on player's actions. Probably also a better way to introduce PvP.
I got to watch all the Mad Max movies when they re released them in theatres. I did not care for most of them. I liked Fury Road some, but none of these movies reeled me in. This I am intrigued, but I hope that I enjoy it better than the rest. Also, did you guys know that Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy didn't get along that great on set? I know it doesn't show, but I thought it was too interesting not to share!
Ahhh, memories of seeing The Raid 1 and 2. :)
How?
I’m curious to know how also 🤔 I’ve watched both raid movies so many times. Top notch action and directing
@@w1ldcard743at 10:33 they start talking about the raid 1 & 2. I guess fury road was like raid 1. More tight and action. When in the raid 2, they explore more characters and drama but the action is still there and amazing.
