Thankyou so much for this detailed video. I am looking to purchase my first vinyl cutter, probably a cameo, but needed to understand what other bits and bobs I would need to buy. Most of all you answered my question about fonts ie. All my installed fonts are available to me in the software. You also speak clearly and at a good speed to take everything in. Great job!
... joining the chorus of those who think. "This is the best video on Cameo" (at least for beginners like me). No nonsense, just very useful info and demo. You just earned a subscriber 🤣😂Thanks a million for making and sharing with us.
Best video. There are some great videos out there but you really nailed everything on this. I download most of my images for my decals and due to your explanation, I can finally start using my Cameo 4. Thank you.
thank you for this video you are very informative and easy to learn from. I have had my silhouette for 5 years and have not used it once as I was afraid but after watching you video I feel more comfortable trying now. Wish you would do more can not thank you enough
Thanks for watching and glad it was helpful! Your comment is actually quite timely as I'm trying to finish putting together a video on how to get started with the Cameo. I've had a couple of friends of mine in the past say they've gotten one, but haven't touched it because they're scared to use it. So, I'm hoping to make a "newbie" friendly video on getting started. I do have a few other vids using the cameo, (I just published a print and cut sticker one last weekend) so be sure to check them out!
Great video - very helpful. A question, if I may: how small can the decals be? I want to try printing a logo for a watch dial. Will be 3mm x 20mm roughly.
Thank you and thanks for watching! Sorry for the late reply. To your question, I honestly don't know as I've not tried to make lettering that small. If the machine could cut that small, the trick then would be weeding out the excess vinyl. I just may have to try and find out...
Thank you very much for making this! It's very nice to see a tutorial over how to use the Silhouette Cameo, instead of Cricut! I have a stencil that I need to copy and enlarge, so this video came at a good time!
Awesome video. You are the only one that goes step by step in details. Very good video and easy to follow, thank you.
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for making this, great tutorial. Would you mind sharing what paper/vinyl you use?
Hi, thanks for watching! For making basic vinyl decals like these, I typically use Oracal 651 amzn.to/3bMQeNd
Amazing thanks
Thank you for watching!
Do you got registration error while cutting ?
I've only gotten a registration error once. I just took out the paper, reloaded it, and then retried and everything was fine.
It’s nice not having to watch another borderline psychotic Etsy woman UA-cam video about this topic. Thanks for the video
LOL!!! Thank for watching, I appreciate it!!
