I have the cameo 3 and have used it for approximately 6 years now and it’s worked hard. But today I have purchased a brand new silhouette cameo 4 pro and I can’t wait to pick it up tomorrow. Enjoyed the video, thank you.

Got the SC4 after watching a few of these videos and doing some homework. Couldn't be happier. Only problem is - now I need a bigger one because people are asking for car vinyls. x.x

Hello! We totally understand, no matter what size cutter we get we always want to get a bigger one 😅. Thanks for supporting and watching us!

I'm new to vinyl cutting, but have been using my Silhouettes for paper cutting for many years. Thanks for the tips for importing PNG files! I do a lot of that and I have noticed the same problem.

I have the cameo pro, do you notice when it starts to cut the cutter head moves to the right about 1/4" before it cuts making the whole project move to the right and in some case cut off on the right side. I owned a cameo 3 for several years and never had this problem. I did all the alignment test and all is good. BYW do you use the left or right alignment mark when you load your long jobs. Thank you.

Hello! We forgot to change the settings back to vinyl, gloss 😅 but we didn't have any issues weeding out since we used the right blade depth and cut force.

This is for PNG files correct? Does this happen with SVG files?

Great question! So far we’ve only used PNG files. We will try other formats and will give you an update. Thanks for watching:)

I have the Cameo Pro but when cutting Glossy Vinyl without the cutting mat, it slips left & Right. Even if it's in a roller. Is this common with the pro? I did not have problems with the smaller versions.

Hello! We have had a few similar issues with our Cameo 4 pro. We need to do more tests with gloss and matte vinyl to figure this out. We’ve been getting better results by placing the pinch roller right on the edge of vinyl, this seems to keep vinyl in place. Thanks for watching!
