HEY THUMBS DOWN PEOPLE.. YOU SUCK.. I'm just trying to help out here.. at least make a comment and not hide like the pathetic people you are.. that should stir up some $H!T..
Idk if people are down-voting your video or the product itself. I get the impression they're critiquing the strike pro itself, so don't take it personally. I on the other hand have been up-voting anyone who posts anything at all for this kit, because I really appreciate people who are taking the time to share. I can't wait to get one!
great sounding kit I don't know why guys don't put reverb/room effect to e-drums a natural sound to me that's what usually makes them sound electronic THANKS FOR POSTING THE SOUNDS
I tried this kit yesterday Lonny and i thought the cymbals where shocking, all of em, and the Ride and Hats are the worse, I really fancied this kit until I tried it, even with latest firmware. I think Alesis are going to bomb out with this kit, pity it sounded good at first. thanks for review, Duncan UK
Lonny, have you tried adjusting your velocity curves? try setting the velocity curve for the mesh pad to a different setting, such as Linear in the module. Do this by pressing the EXT TRIG button, and then press the F3 button. PressNOTE CHASE on the module, and then strike the trigger you would like to edit. Use the up and down arrows to select the velocity curve parameter and turn the wheel to select Linear, this allows you to use the sensitivity knobs on the drums themselves if you want. I keep all of mine on LOG 2 most of the time which seems to give me the best sound dynamically so I don't have to hit that hard on any of the pads. I hope this is making sense. I have a DM10 Studio Mesh kit, but yours should be similar. I don't know what drum module you're using, I'm assuming the one that came with the kit?
It's not that the video is bad. It's the fact you ran the sound through an amp instead of the output in the module. Video cameras can never capture the true quality of the sound from loudspeakers. It makes the drums sound pretty bad...that and the fact that the kit you started off with sounds pretty fake and cheap. Most people are wanting to hear "acoustic" sounding kits in order to help them evaluate the kit...especially those who don't have Great music stores nearby who can't sample the kit for themselves.
Great vid Lonny! I appreciate it! I wanted to ask you, how's the sensitivity of the snare for buzz rolls and ghost notes? Is it as good as the Roland V (if you have AB'd them both). I hear the 1.2 firmware update helped with that. Thanks for your help!
Jamie SEA they added a new feature to the hihat so it's really getting there. The cymbals you have turn up the sensitivity to 50. They are only set to like 20 and this cause them not to sound off but with the 50 setting they are great rolls are fine and now the ditor is out as well. Hope it helps look for strike pro owners group on Facebook and join good info there
Raymond Calderon you select the preset kit that you like the sound from Click on voice on the module and then select INST instrument there is the list of the samples and you can assign the samples to the available triggers. Then that will save as a use kit and you can rename the kit whatever you want
Raymond Calderon these are the default kits you are going to go through them yourself there is a spreadsheet in our Facebook group of all the kit samples to each kit look up Strike pro owners group in facebook
I would say the roland is still ahead.. I have only messed with the TD-50 .. not any of the others. But the update is much better. I haven't played with any of the trigger settings on the actual hi-hat bow and edge,, just the open and closed on the pedal. so nothing really to report

I've learned that the thumbs down people never go away. They are a force of nature.

Lonny Sherman I should thumbs down this because of your whiny little rant.

THANKS FOR POSTING THE SOUNDS
I just did the Update V1.10, it solved a lot of the bugs, ghost triggering, and the hi-hats are much more playable now.

you should consider customizing your own sets, preset kits are a good foundation but you should build of them.

Hi, a simple question; how many square feet does this kit needs to fit in a room, 6 x 6? Thans for the vid and the answer.
Nice job making this video.....all the trolls with the nasty comments are just that trolls 🤣🤣🤣
I wonder how many of these will be returned.
How's the sensitivity on the hi-hat? Did the firmware update fix the bugs that we've been hearing about?
How do you install the updates?
hii hey how do you get those clean toms what sound is it from the samples on the module???
Raymond Calderon you select the preset kit that you like the sound from Click on voice on the module and then select INST instrument there is the list of the samples and you can assign the samples to the available triggers. Lonny Sherman i know but what sampke is it? yamaha oak custom? etc... because my toms sound sound soo off and yours are so punchy and clean

Lonny Sherman oh ok gotcha thank you
Is it trigger as well as a roland module yet?

Thanks :) good to know
