After listening to this, I'm glad I went with the FiFine AM8. I found that (for my use), it requires the least amount of post production. Noise rejection was quite good, considering it doesn't have any external shock mount. If they ever make a slim version, I'd be tempted to pick it up too.
Hey mate have been looking for a comparison between most of these mics so thank you for putting it together. The Maono sounded bizzare, is that normal? Also would have been good to listen to the conclusions of each mic on the actual mic. Cheers again for the effort 👍
Hey, which is better, am8 or pd200x for podcast and casual singing considering i'll be at a distance of 4-6 inches from the mic. Also its my observation that pd200x sounds very nasally and am8 sounds as if u have congested throat and flat, so which is better considering these and the distance? Also does having 24 bit over 16 bit make a huge difference?
i have owned the mic for a few weeks now and a way to fix it is to download their software or use another one to lower down the 60hz - 80hz. most mic have this on lowered down by default but Maono doesn't

4-6 inches away?? If you have a quiet room just get a condenser mic
@@Amutomoto problem is that only, my room is not quite, i have a fan and AC both, and its very hot here
@@nawalnautiyal6252 if you are getting a dynamic mic there's really no problem using it that far but yeah closer a little bit is better so it's fine.
Why Maono sound so bad?
