It's just that when I Googled the song itself, it gave the lyrics as if they were by Hank Williams Jr., not his daddy. But since his daddy wrote the lyrics, it only makes sense that he wrote the music for it. My uncle is a long time Bocephus fan who introduced his music to me when I was a child and he thought all this time that Bocephus originally wrote and recorded the whole song "Cajun Baby".

This sounds pretty good, but when you hear Hank Jr's vocal progression compared to his father's and consider the times as a major factor in how his sound ( before the accident ) and his fathers sounds progressed, it's not much of a stretch to conclude that Hank Sr probably would have sung this a lot like his son did if he had recorded it in the 60's were he still alive. I believe that before his accident Hank Jr's sound was probably right where is fathers would have been, after that of course his voice was a bit different but he also started to Express his wild side a bit more in the music and the overall sound / style definitely changed ( not necessarily in a bad way either )

I've studied"everything Hank" for over forty years and used to portray Senior in different productions... I had a Hillbilly Boogie/Rockabilly band and toured for over thirty. It's fair to say that Senior is my biggest hero... And this is the closest we'll ever get to hearing him perform again. That said, I really don't know what to think about Artificial Intelligence... It could potentially be used for GOOD, but of course The Powers That Be are gonna try and use it against us for EVIL. I suppose that goes for just about everything, though. Cheers!

But I agree with you that it's the closest AI recording to his voice that I've heard yet. I "discovered" Hank Williams when I was five years old in the winter of 1955/56, listening to AFN broadcasting out of Germany. I am Scottish, and I used to live in Shetland in the far north of Scotland where the little shaggy Shetland Ponies come from, and where I was born. Hank's music was loved by most of the people I grew up with there, and still is too. These days I live in Spain where Hank is almost completely unknown, but I am keeping the flame well lit and alive here as best as I can! :-)
